this is my first story...hope you all like it!

Chapter One:

It’s early morning, and Clark and Lana are jogging along an old dirt path in the woods.

“You know you can’t beat me, Clark” Lana says with a giggle, as she moves ahead.

“We’ll just see about that” Clark says as he smiles, knowing perfectly well that he could in fact beat her if he wanted to, even without superspeeding, but he always was the polite one so he decided to let her win. Forget it, he thought to himself, and he ran forward and grabbed Lana around her waist.

“Hey, no fair!" They both laughed. “Maybe it’s good that we stopped, I’m gonna pass out!” Lana hunched over, breathing deeply. “If we keep up this running every morning thing everyday I’m seriously gonna die.”

They both laugh, while suddenly Lana let out a huge shriek.

“What’s the matter?”

“Looks like I just got stung...that kinda hurt.”

“Let me see.” Clark took Lana’s arm, and looked for the sting. It wasn’t hard to find, there was a huge red spot above her wrist. “That does look like it hurts. I’m sorry......OOOWWW!”

“What? What happened?” Lana asked.

“I just got stung too.”

“Let’s get out of here before we get attacked.” Lana looked at Clark’s arm. “Looks like he got you good.”

Clark stared at the sting confused. How could that bee sting me, he thought. “Yeah, looks like he did...”

As they ran off, they passed a tree that had a bee’s nest in it. Around the bee’s nest there was a red substance around it...red kryptonite.

to answer your questions:

1. i'm thinking this story would take place in this next season, after they've been dating (assuming they date)

2. the red-k doesn't hurt him, the sting just represents the red-k coming in contact with his body so he isn't stung for the rest of his life or anything. i think that answers your question lol

sry about the confusion. like i said, this is my first time doing this so i'm kinda taking it as it comes...hope it's ok so far.

Chapter Two:

Clark and Lana walked into the Kent’s house. Lana sat at the table while Clark opened the freezer door.

“Want some ice for that sting?” Clark asked.

“Yeah, thanks. I can’t believe it hurts this much. I’ve gotten stung before and it’s never hurt like this, or looked like this for that matter. Those must have been some strange bees.”

“Must have been, they even hurt me...” Clark looked back down at his arm and saw that his sting had disappeared.

“What did you say?”

“Uh, nothing. Here’s that ice you wanted.” Clark placed it gently on Lana’s arm, and she smiled.

“Thanks for the ice. You always did take care of me.”

“And I always will...” They both smiled at each other, but Lana’s smile quickly turned into a frown as she clutched her arm in pain.

“I’m sorry...is the ice too cold?”

“No, no. Ahh. It’s just the sting...it’s burning...” Lana continued to squeeze her arm, and then released it relax fully as she slowly looked up at Clark.

“Is everything ok? Lana...are you ok?”

Lana gave Clark a sexy glare, and checked him out, while lifting one eyebrow. “Yeah, I’m great.”

Clark then gave one of those “oh boy” looks. He knew something wasn’t right, it never was when Lana gave him that kind of look, and he knew it was because of that bee. What he didn’t know was that the bee had been exposed to red meteor rock, and that’s the reason for her acting different. Just like all of the other strange people that had been changed by kryptonite, Lana was now changed. And soon Clark would be too.

Chapter Three:

“Are you ok, Clark?” Lana asked, giving him another look, followed by a grin. She stroked his arm, but Clark moved away.

“To be honest, my sting still hurts a little.” He lied, for the sake of not having her second guess the fact that his sting just disappeared all of sudden, and in hope she wouldn't do anything she might regret later on. She did anyway...

“Well I know what will help you make it feel better.” Lana grabbed Clark by the shirt and pulled him into the living and sat him on the couch. Before he could get back up, she sat next to him and kissed him, slowly reaching for one of the buttons on his shirt.

“Lana...uh...maybe you should take it easy, considering you were just in a lot of pain...”

“Don’t worry about me, Clark. I’m fine. I’m more worried about you, we must get you better.”

“But Lana...” Clark knew that taking advantage of the moment wouldn’t be the right thing to do; he hated being noble, but he had to be. Just as he went to take her arms off from around his neck, his eyes suddenly began to change, and he gave Lana the kind of look she had given him before. His eyes turned red for a moment as the red kryptonite of the bee sunk in. A small smile was shown, and he pulled Lana closer to him. “Never mind...you’re right, we need to make me feel better.” The two started to kiss as Lana continued her task of unbuttoning Clark's shirt. “I feel better already.”

“I told you so. Hehe, I always knew there was some passionate side of you in there, Clark. I just never knew where to look, but I’m glad I found it.” She laughed.

“So am I.”

“I bet you are!” Those words had not come from Lana, and both her and Clark looked over. There was Chloe, standing in the doorway.

Chapter Four:

“Chloe, what are you doing here? Hehe, we’re kinda busy...” Lana kissed Clark while keeping her eyes on Chloe as if it was to spite her. Clark realized what Lana was doing and after her lips left his he gave Chloe a grin.

Chloe tried to brush their behavior off. “I can see that. I told you I was coming home this weekend, and I figured I’d stop by to say hi.”

Lana and Clark looked at each other and then back at Chloe. At the same time they both said hi casually and gave her a look saying “there, you happy? We said hi, now leave.” Chloe quickly noticed this.

“Nice to see you guys too! Obviously I’m in the way. I’ll talk to you guys later.”

“No, no, Chloe. Please...stay,” Lana said as she slowly got off of Clark. “We can do this later.”

“Um, ok. I guess I’ll stay for a little bit...”

Although Clark didn’t want her to stay, he decided to make small talk anyway. “So, Chloe, how have things been lately?”

“Yeah, do you have a boyfriend now? Or are you still in love with Clark?”

“What does that mean?” Chloe knew her and Lana were close, but not close enough for her to make rude remarks like that. “Lana, that was pretty rude.”

“You’ll get over it. Just like you’ll get over Clark. I mean, it’s bound to happen sometime.”

Clark chimed in. “Better sooner than later.”

“You know what, I don’t have to take this. I’m leaving. It was really nice seeing you. Bye!”

Chloe knew something was going on with the two of them, and it wasn’t just her “in denial” side telling her to think that. Getting into her car, she noticed her old school ring in one of her cup holders; she kept it in there to remember Smallville High and The Torch. Looking at it, it instantly came to her. “Red meteor rock...of course! But how...” She decided it didn’t matter, she just wanted to find a cure, but she couldn’t do it alone.

I'm just curious how Chloe came to that conclusion? I mean she doesn't know anything really about red metor rock and Clark she might suspect but even if she does what made her come to that conclusion???

Chapter Five:

Lex was surprised to see Chloe in his study when she walked in.

“Ms. Sullivan, you’re the last person I thought I’d see here; our relationship isn’t really what it used to be.”

“Was our relationship ever much of anything, Lex? If so, it seems I’m drawing a blank.”

“I’m guessing this isn’t a friendly visit. Is it safe to assume there will be an interrogation?”

“I’m here because I need your help, Lex. Something is wrong with Clark and Lana, and I’m not sure what happened, but I know it’s because of red meteor rock. I was hoping you could figure out a cure before they do something dangerous.”

“If it’s for Clark and Lana of course I’ll do it.”

“Don’t you mean, as long as it isn’t for you I’ll do it?”

“Just give me the rock, Chloe. I’ll find a cure.”

Chloe went to hand him the rock, but suddenly pulled away. She realized that he couldn’t really be trusted, especially when it came to Clark. But she was desperate. She gave the rock to him anyway, but only to find a cure; she knew that she’d need someone else to help her actually save her friends. Someone that knew Clark’s secret too.

Chloe walked up to an old house; the old house of an old friend.

“Pete! How are you?!”

“Chloe!” He gave her a huge hug. “What are you doing here?”

“Well, I hate to say this, but I’m not here to catch up. Something is going on with Lana and Clark, and it has to do with red meteor rock.”

“Oh, god. You know how Clark gets around that stuff...wait...” Pete realized he wasn’t entirely sure if Chloe knew Clark’s secret or not. “You do know, don’t you?”

“Yes, and that’s why I need your help. Lex is making a cure for Lana, well he thinks it’s for both of them, but you and I know it’s not. I don’t know how to stop Clark.”

“Well, as much as it kills me to use this as an idea, we could use green meteor rock on him.”

“But that makes him sick, doesn’t it?”

“Yeah, but it might be the only way.”

“You’re right. We better hurry and gets some. Then we’ll go to Lex to get the cure.” Chloe and Pete ran out the door into the car.

“Hey Pete?”

“Yeah?”

“Thanks for helping me.”

“What can I say, I’ve always liked an adventure, especially when it deals with psycho Clark.”

Chapter Six:

Back inside the Kent Farm, Clark and Lana were still on the couch kissing passionately. Both of their shirts were off, their hair tasseled, and soft moans could be heard.

“So Lana,” a kiss, “ what do you wanna do now?”

“Hmm. I know. Let’s go to the lake. Remember that time we went swimming, and you thought I meant I wanted to go skinny dipping when I asked you to go?”

“Yeah...” Clark smiled, not only because he remembered that dream, but also because he assumed Lana was getting somewhere he wanted to be with her story.

“Maybe we could try that this time? What do you say?”

“Sounds like a good time to me...”

Clark and Lana got into the truck and headed down to the lake, but on the way they decided to have a little fun with the other drivers. They took the term “road rage” to a whole new level. Clark swerved in and out of lanes, sometimes driving in the other lane just for a little extra fun. Music was blasting, and they both were laughing and screaming.

When they got to the lake, Lana took Clark’s hand and dragged him slowly to the dock. As she kissed him again, he lifted off her shirt. In response, Lana looked up at him and bit her lip as she smiled. She took his shirt off and put her hands on his chest, and then she slowly moved her hands down, feeling every muscle on the way. When she reached his belt, she undid it, and bent down to start undoing the buttons of his pants. When she was finished, she took his hands and put them behind her, hinting to him to unclasp her bra. As his hands moved towards the clasp, she slowly took off his jeans. Clark took his shoes off, and kicked his pants to the side when Lana was done. He grinned, knowing what would off come next, and he waited in anticipation. He couldn’t decide which one he wanted to come first, his boxers, or her bra......he got back to the clasp.

Just before her bra was undone, she thought she’d have a little fun with him; a little torture. As she put her hands gently on his boxer shorts, about to take them off, she stopped suddenly, when her bra was just about to slip off. “Wait...Clark...let’s go to Metropolis.” She came back up and put her bra straps back over her shoulders.

“What? Now? But we were just, we were just gonna...”

Lana interrupted as she put her shirt back on. “I know. And I’d rather do this there than here. I just realized that.”

“But Lana..” Needless to say, Clark was disappointed. “I was so close,” he thought.

“Please Clark... I promise it’ll be worth the wait...” Another grin and a long kiss.

Clark suddenly got a huge smile on his face. “Fine, but let’s make one stop first,” he said as he got dressed.

“Where?” They both got into the truck.

“Lex’s mansion. If we’re gonna go to Metropolis, we gotta look good. We’ll get him to give us one of his cars.”

“Good idea.” Lana scooted next to him and gave him another kiss. Once again, he was not watching the road, and almost hit another car. When he jerked because of the other car’s horn, him and Lana just laughed as they flew by.

Chloe and Pete were in the car. They decided it was best to follow them.

Chapter Seven:

Clark walked into Lex’s study with Lana in his arms. “Hey Lex. We won’t take up too much of your time, but we wanted to ask for a favor.” Lex put something away in the top drawer of his desk, the cure. Clark put Lana down, and she went over to the brandy and poured a glass.

“I hope that’s for me, Lana,” Lex said, as he walked over to her and took it out of her hand.

“I guess.” She handed it to him willingly but with an attitude.

“So what’s the favor?”

“Lana and I wanted to borrow one of your cars. We were planning on going to Metropolis tonight and we wanted to go in style. You never know who you’re going to meet...or what you’re going to do...” Clark turned towards Lana when he said this and lifted an eyebrow.

“You wouldn’t be planning on doing anything crazy would you? Because not only would it be a shame to see my two best friends get hurt, but my car as well.”

Lana became defensive and serious. “Oh come on Lex...it’s not like you really care anyway.” She placed her arms around him and stroked his chest. “Just give us the car, huh? I promise we’ll be good.”

Lex threw her arms off of him. “I’m sorry, Lana, but I can’t do that.”

“It’s ok, Lana. I’ll take care of this.” Clark walked over to Lex and grabbed him by the neck. “Either you give us a car, or I break your neck. I think you know the obvious choice. You’ve always been smart...just one, big smart traitor.”

“I’m not a traitor, and that’s why I’m not letting you go to Metropolis. You aren’t yourselves, and I won’t let you hurt each other!” Clark’s hand squeezed his neck harder and Lex gasped for air.

“Fine Lex. You asked for it!” Clark threw him across the room, and Lana laughed in surprise when Lex hit the book shelf and fell to the floor, unconscious and listless.

“Wow, Clark!” She went over to him and put her arms around his neck.

“You liked that?” Clark put his hands on hers, and moved them all the way down her body until he reached her waist. “How about some more...” He bent down next to Lex, but when he heard another voice, he turned, and dropped him.

Chapter Eight:

‘Clark, STOP!” Him and Lana saw Chloe at the door when they least expected to, again.

“Chloe, Chloe, Chloe. You just keep showing up when you’re not wanted....looks like some things never change.” Lana smiled at the sight of Chloe’s hurt look.

“But it’s always a good thing I show up, isn’t it Clark? Otherwise you would get yourself into some pretty big trouble. Like now. You and Lana are sick but you don’t even know it.”

“We’re not sick, Chloe, we’re just not hiding our true selves anymore,” Clark yelled, “and you can’t stop us!”

“But I can, Clark. I’m not alone this time...” Pete walked in, keeping his distance from Clark because he had the green meteor rock hidden in his hand.

“Well, Lana, look who it is! Our old buddy, Pete!”

“Don’t you mean, your old sidekick, Pete, the tagalong?” Lana looked at Clark, and then turned to glare at Pete.

“Looks like he’s a sidekick for somebody else now!”

“Clark, you gotta let us help you. You know what red meteor rock does to you, and now it’s affected Lana.” As Pete continued, Chloe crept over to Lex’s desk; she hoped Lex already had the cure. “Good, I found it, thank God,” she thought to herself, “and as terrible as this sounds, thank God for Lex being unconscious.”

Lana noticed what Chloe was doing and saw something in her hand. “Oh, come on Chloe. Do you actually think we’re going to let you give that stuff to us?” Lana laughed.

“I’m counting on you not to.” She had hoped that if she went to strike Clark with the needle, Lana would come to help him, and when Lana did, she’d put the needle into her arm. Then Pete would take care of Clark with the green kryptonite. That plan could’ve worked. Before Chloe could get to Lana, Clark got to Chloe and pushed her down. While Pete went to help her, Clark picked up Lana, and super-speeded out of the room. “Oh, no.” Chloe put her face in her hands. “Now what are we going to do?”

“It’s ok...we’ll figure out where they’re going and we’ll get them then.”

“They’re going to Metropolis.”

Chloe looked over to see that Lex was awake and getting up from under a pile of books. “What?”

“Metropolis...they’re going there.” Just then his security personnel ran in to take care of him. As Chloe and Pete began to leave he shouted to them. “You better hurry...if they’re taking one of my cars, it’ll be hard to catch up.”

Clark and Lana had taken one of his cars, and they were far already. Since it was a convertible and the top was down, the music had to be loud and so did they.

“Wow, Clark. I didn’t think you had this crazy side in you! I don’t think I’ve ever had this much fun.”

“Baby, we stay like this forever and I’ll really show you what a good time is...”

“Hehe, can’t wait for that...”

“So Lana, what do you wanna do when we get to Metropolis?”

“Let’s go to that club you were at that one time...seemed like a lot of fun. Ans you promised we’d have fun.”

“I was thinking of having fun in another way.”

“What did ya have in mind?”

“Well, you know, there’s a lot of nice hotels around that city. Maybe we could go finished what we started at one?”

“Hmm, I dunno, Clark. I think you’re gonna have to show me a little preview of what we’ll be doing before I make up my mind...”

“A preview? No problem.” He pulled over and stopped that car. He turned towards Lana and got on top of her. Clark kissed her like he’d never kissed her before. Lana especially enjoyed him using a little tongue. “What do ya think?”

“Get going!” They laughed as Clark started the car again and sped down the road. “But Clark, aren’t we gonna need some money?”

“Yeah, and we’ll get it.”

“How?”

“I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve...”

Chapter Nine:

Clark and Lana finally made it to Metropolis in an hour, and ride that usually takes three. As they drove down main street, Lana looked and pointed at all of the stores while Clark looked and pointed at all of the hotels. Lana finally caught on to what he was looking for and decided to help him, knowing perfectly well that he probably didn’t care which one they went to; it was they’d be doing that mattered. “I like that one, Clark.” Lana pointed to the tallest, most expensive looking building in the entire city.

“Looks kinda ritzy.”

“Please baby...” She moved in close to him, and started to nibble his ear.

“Anything for you...but we gotta get that money I was talking about.”

“I’ll do anything in order to get in one of those hotel rooms with you...”

“Exactly what I was thinking.”

“What did you have in mind?”

“See Lana, I can do some things that you couldn’t even imagine, and with these abilities I can get pretty much anything I want.”

“I didn’t know looking hot was an ability.” She giggled.

“Well, I’m thinking of different kinds of abilities...ones that no one else has. The point is, if I wanted to steal some money from a bank, I could.”

“So then which bank are we going to?”

“Oh, we’re not going to a bank...I said if I wanted I could. But I don’t want steal from a bank.”

“Then where are we going?”

Clark smirked. “LuthorCorp.”

“Do you think we’ll catch up to them Pete?”

“I dunno, I hope so...”

“We were so close, it figures our plan completely backfired.”

“Don’t worry, Chloe, we’ll help them...”

Clark pulled into the LuthorCorp back entrance undetected. No one else was around, except for one guard at the gate. “Now Lana, just let me handle everything. Just have the car ready to go for when I get back, alright?”

“Ok. I’d wish you luck but I know you don’t need it. Maybe a kiss?” Clark nodded and they kissed. After their lips parted, Clark was gone before Lana even opened her eyes.

Clark went up to the gate, and pulled apart enough of the metal to be able to get through. The Guard noticed him coming through and ran down to stop him. When he did, Clark just threw him out of the way. Super speeding through the building, Clark destroyed everything and everyone that got in his path. Security guards were strewn everywhere, glass was shattered, and locks were crushed. Finally, Clark found the room he was looking for, the room with the vault. He pounded down the door, and an alarm went off. Lasers shot out, but they didn’t burn his skin. Some police came, but their bullets were not effective. After he got the money, he just knocked them out like all of the others.

Chloe and Pete got to Metropolis while all of this was happening. As they drove along, searching for a license plate with “LEX” on it, police cars raced past them.

Pete looked at Chloe. “Where there’s police, there’s trouble.”

“And where there’s trouble, there’s Clark.”

They followed the police all the way to LuthorCorp’s front entrance.

Chapter Ten:

“Do you see Lex’s car anywhere?” Pete asked searching around the parking lot.

“No, but maybe they’re at the worker’s entrance. That’s where my dad used to go in.” Pete turned the car around and slowly drove to the back of the building. If Clark and Lana were there, they didn’t want to be heard. Suddenly Chloe spotted a sliver car with a girl in the front seat. “Look, there’s Lana...Clark must be inside, doing god knows what...”

“We should give her the cure now, before Clark sees and goes into an angry rage again.”

“Ok. You wait here, I don’t want to draw attention or make too much noise.” Chloe walked as silent as she could towards Lana. As she got closer, her heart raced and her hands started to sweat. “Please let this work,” she thought. She threw her arm back.

Lana turned around. “Hey!” Chloe stuck the needle into her neck and Lana passed out. Then Pete came over and helped Chloe get her into the car. Chloe hated having to hurt her friend, but it was the only way.

Meanwhile, Clark had been fighting off policemen and bullets and everything else they could throw at him. He could’ve left minutes ago, but he had a good laugh watching them try to defeat him. But then he remembered the task at hand, and how Lana looked when her bra was going to come off. He super-speeded out of the room, and made his way to the car. “I got the money, Baby.” He looked inside the convertible and saw she was no where to be found. “What the hell?”

“What the hell is right, Clark. What the hell is the matter with you?”

“Ahh, Chloe, don’t you know when to stop? You’re seriously starting to get on my nerves. Where’s Lana?”

“In the back seat.” Clark shifted his eyes to the back of Pete’s car and saw Lana unconscious.

“What did you do to her?!” He screamed.

“I helped her, and that’s exactly what I’ll do for you.”

“I don’t think so!” Clark super-speeded towards Chloe but abruptly stopped before he reached her. As he fell to the ground, Chloe saw Pete standing behind him with the green meteor rock in his hands. Pete kept the rock out. “Are you alright Chloe?”

“Yeah, yeah. I’m fine. Let’s get them to the hospital before Clark really gets hurt with that stuff.”

Chloe sat in the back seat with Clark and Lana as Pete drove. She sat there, silent, just watching her two friends that she couldn’t even recognize a few minutes ago. Everything was so confusing, and there were so many questions she wanted to ask. How did they both get infected with red meteor rock? What was in the serum that made Lana better? Will Clark even be back to normal? It didn’t matter. She didn’t need answers. But she still had to wonder if everything they said was how they really felt.

Clark started to shift, and he opened his eyes. “Chloe? What...what happened? How are you here?”

“Don’t worry about it, Clark. For a while, you and Lana changed because of some red mr, but now everything is back to normal; everything is going to be alright.”

“How do I not remember what happened?.”

“Well, Pete and I sort of used some green mr on you, maybe that has something to do with it. But it doesn’t matter, the important thing is that the red meteor rock wore off and you’re yourself again.”

Clark paused for a moment. “Thanks, Chloe.”

“For what? I used green meteor rock on you.”

“Because you had to.” Clark smiled. “Just thanks...for always being there for me.” He kissed her on the cheek.

“That’s what friends are for.”

Clark carried Lana into the hospital, when they arrived, and Chloe explained to the doctors what had happened. They told her they were expecting to see her there sometime that day; apparently a Mr. Luthor called explaining the situation beforehand.

Chloe walked into Lana’s hospital room to find Clark holding her hand. She walked away, slowly, staring at them, beside Pete. They both knew Clark and Lana would need time alone to talk.

Chapter Eleven:

Lana’s hand rubbed softly against Clark’s and his eyes made their way to hers, seeing that they were open.

“Hey.”

“Hey.”

“How are you feeling?”

“Ok, I guess. Clark, what happened?”

“Well...a lot...” Clark wasn’t really sure how to explain what happened to them. “Do you remember getting stung by a bee?”

“Yeah.”

“Well, basically, that bee was infected by something, and it had sort of had a strange affect on us.”

“What else is new...” They both laughed. “I didn’t do anything regretful, did I?”

“To be honest, I don’t know. I don’t think I did...”

“Oh, great. Well, even if I did, at least it was with someone I love.” She smiled at him, and he smiled back.

“I love you too, Lana.” They kissed and sat there silent, just holding each other’s hands.

“Clark?”

“Yeah?”

“I remember Pete saying something to you about how you know what red meteor rock does to you...what did he mean by that? And I remember you going to steal money...how did you get it?”

“I think I’m finally ready to tell you, Lana, but this isn’t the place.”

“No, Clark. It’s ok...if you’re ready to tell, I’m ready to listen.” Clark breathed in deeply and let out a sigh. There was no getting out of it. He had no excuses left. He had to tell her the truth.

your story doesn't suck, it has a lot of potential, but there really isn't much to it yet. you have a great concept...just go with it. my story isn't all that great, i just write about things that i would like to actually see happen on the show, and chances are someone else would like to see it too. that helps a lot, so maybe try doing that. hope i helped! : )

Chapter Twelve:

“Lana...there’s something about me that you need to know. Something I should’ve told you along time ago, but I was afraid to. It’s not that I don’t trust you, and it’s not because I don’t care about you, because I do. It’s just something that a lot of people wouldn’t be able to understand, and I didn’t want to take the risk of you being one of them. I figured it was better having you in my life and not knowing, than having you know and taking the chance you wouldn’t feel the same way about me. But that way hasn’t really worked out, to be honest, so I’m going in the other direction. I’m telling you the one thing you’ve always wanted to know. But I’m still very scared...”

“It’s ok, Clark. You don’t have to be. I love you for who are you, and that includes your faults.”

“I hope you feel the same way after I tell you this. Ok, here goes. My parents found me on the day of the first meteor shower. It wasn’t because my real parents had abandoned me, but because I actually came to Smallville that day. And I came alone, in...in a...in a spaceship.”

“A...a spaceship? You’re an...alien?” Lana got a surprised but confused look on her face.

“Yes. Lana, I know it sounds crazy, but it’s true. It’s really what happened. When I first found out that I wasn’t from Earth, I was scared and confused, just like you probably are. But I realized that I had to accept who I was, and embrace it, so about two years ago I started learning about where I was from; a planet called Krypton. It was destroyed on the day of the meteor shower, and I was the only survivor, at least to my knowledge. And not only am different because I’m not from here, but I’m different because I can do things no one else can.”

Lana interrupted quickly. “Like what?” She decided that if she was going to believe what Clark was saying, she’d have to see it with her own eyes.

“I have super speed, super hearing, super strength, x-ray vision, heat vision, and nothing can hurt me, except for green meteor rock. Which brings me to the red rocks. Do you remember how you acted when you were infected by the Nicodemus flower? That’s what red-k does to me.

“Red-k?”

“Red kryptonite.” Lana let out a sigh and Clark could sense her confusion. “I know this is hard to understand. And I don’t mean to scare you.”

“I know...I know you don’t. I just...I can’t believe this...”

“Please don’t be afraid. Don’t be afraid of me.”

Lana looked up at Clark. Her eyes started to tear and her face scrunched together. Clark thought it was the end, he knew she would never want to talk to him or see him ever again. Why did he tell her...but suddenly words came out of her mouth.

Chapter Thirteen:

“I’m not afraid of you...I’m proud of you.”

Clark’s eyes widened. “What?”

Lana thought for a moment, choosing her words wisely. “Clark, there have been so many strange people here in Smallville, and I was afraid of them. And now I realize that it wasn’t because they were different, but because they hurt me, and other people that I cared about. Those people had so much potential; they could do amazing things. The only problem was they weren’t amazing. That’s what makes you different from them, Clark, and that’s why I’m not afraid. You say you have all these abilities, and they’re incredible...just like you. You could have power, wealth...anything you wanted, yet you stay here, in Smallville, helping people...helping me. And I’m proud of that, Clark. And I’m proud to say that I love you, and it makes me feel so good to know that an astonishing person like you loves me too.”

“And I do Lana...so much...and you don’t know how much it all means to me, all of the things you’re saying...I know this is going to take some getting used to, but I’m going to try as hard as I can to make it easy. You don’t know how much it means to me to know you still love me and accept me.” A tear started to run down his cheek, and as he went to wipe it away, Lana stopped him. She took her hand and wiped it away for him. She kept her hand on his face for a second, looking into his eyes, caressing is skin.

“It’s still you, isn’t it?”

“Yeah. It is. And no matter what happens, it will always be me.” Lana smiled, and they kissed.

“So...let’s see some of these hidden talents of yours.” Clark laughed and told her to put something in her hand. She looked around and found a pin on the table beside her.

“Ok, I’m ready.”

Clark stared at her hand for a moment. “A pin.”

Lana looked in awe at Clark. “Oh my god.”

A doctor came in the room to check up on his patient. He told Lana that she would be fine, and that she could go home. Clark called his parents to bring him is car so he could take Lana to her apartment. On the way, they talked more about Clark. He explained more about his heritage and told her that both Pete and Chloe already knew.

When they arrived, Clark decided to show off the rest of his abilities to Lana, and each time he showed her a new trick she became more and more impressed. Clark couldn’t have imagined a more perfect moment, and neither could Lana. They both finally had what they wanted. Clark had Lana’s acceptance, Lana had the truth, and they both had each other’s love. When Clark showed her all that was to be shown, he sat beside her and held her hand. Clark didn’t expect what happened next.

Chapter Fourteen: (maybe PG-13?)

“Clark, do you remember anything that happened today?”

“No, not really. Do you remember something else?”

“Yeah, I do...” She sounded concerned.

“Is something wrong?”

“No, it’s just...well...we went to lake and we were about to...umm...”

“About to do what?” Clark paused for a second, and then he suddenly realized what she was talking about. “Oh...that...well we didn’t do anything, did we?”

“No we didn’t...” She thought about her words before she said them; she wanted them to come out right. “But if we did, it would’ve been ok .”

“It would’ve?”

“Yeah, I mean we love each other, right?” Clark nodded. “But I guess it would be better to do something like that when we’re ourselves.”

“Yeah, yeah. I think so...” Clark didn’t just agree with her for the sake of not causing a confrontation. He really did feel the same way.

Lana stared at Clark for a long time, as if she was trying to hold something back. She decided she didn’t want to, and she blurted out the words she wanted to say. “We’re ourselves now...” Clark looked into her eyes and saw her seriousness. She pulled him in close and kissed him softly, and Clark didn’t move away. They kissed like they had on the couch before, but this time they wouldn’t stop to go to the lake. Lana reached behind Clark and pulled off his t-shirt, and he did the same to her. Once again, she unbuttoned his pants and took them off, taking his boxers along with them. And he began to unclasp her bra again, this time succeeding, then reached for her jeans. Lana clutched his hair; Clark squeezed her arm. Lana’s hand slowly moved down; Clark’s hand moved up her leg. They kissed again, passionately and intimately, breathe short. They spent the rest of the night that way.

Chapter Fifteen:

Lana’s eyes opened reluctantly to the sound of knocking...she had a long night. She wanted to stay where she was, in Clark’s arms, nestled to his body. He felt so good next to her, and she especially liked the feeling of his warmth. But, unfortunately, the knocking continued; she had to move in order to get anymore sleep. She put on a robe, and made her way to the front door.

“Lana! Hehe, I didn’t expect to see you home so soon, but I came by anyway, hoping you’d be here...” Chloe laughed.

“Yeah, yeah...I’m here. “

“Sorry to wake you.”

“Ah, don’t be silly. Umm...I needed to get up anyway.” That was the first time Lana lied to Chloe for the sake of keeping a secret.

“Well, I just...I just wanted to make sure you were ok. Yesterday was kind of a weird day...a lot happened.”

“Yeah. A lot did happen...” She looked up suddenly, trying not to seem suspicious.

Chloe’s eyes shifted to inside the house, and she moved her head a little to the side where she saw some clothes laying on the ground. She quickly turned back to Lana. “Sounds like more stuff happened for you than me.” She laughed when she realized Lana might have caught on to her snooping. But snooping was something she was good at so she thought she’d continue. “Umm...Lana...did something happen last night, after you got home?”

“Uh, no. Nothing happened last night, just, uh, during the day!” That was the second time Lana lied to Chloe for the sake of keeping a secret.

“Right. Ok . Well, I’m glad everything’s back to normal.” As she started to walk away, Lana grabbed her arm.

“Thanks for helping us, Chloe. You’re a good friend, and I hope you think of me the same way.” It was so sincere and kind that Chloe couldn’t help but agree.

“I do Lana. Oh, and by the way, I’d go and talk to Lex. He kind of had a rough day too.”

Lana shut the door behind her, and she looked over at Clark. Who would’ve thought he could be even cuter when he was sleeping. Last night seemed like a dream to her, a very good dream, but him laying there was proof that everything that happened really did happen. She went over to her bed, and repositioned herself into the position she was in before; her head just under his chin, and her body next to his. She saw his eyes open. “Hey.”

Clark breathed in deep and as he let out a sigh he returned her hello.

“How are you?”

“I’m great. How are you?”

“Better than great.” She kissed him gently and then he kissed her forehead.

“Who was at the door?”

“Chloe...she wanted to make sure everything was ok. And, she told me we should go talk to Lex.”

“I’ll go later. For now, I wanna stay here with you.”

She smiled. “I wouldn’t let you leave anyway.”

Chapter Sixteen:

“Clark, it’s good to see that you’re well again. For a minute there, I thought you really had snapped!” Lex laughed, trying to make his comment sound not so harsh.

“I am well again, and from what I hear I have you to thank for that.”

“Well, Chloe asked me to help her get Lana and you back to normal, so I immediately had a team of specialist find a cure. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if it was going to work on you.”

“What do you mean?”

Lex hesitated for a second, realizing what he just said. He tried to save himself. “It’s just, nothing has ever made you sick before, and if whatever made you that way yesterday was strong enough to do it, I wasn’t sure if a little serum would help, that’s all.”

“Oh. Well, it did, and thanks.”

“Anytime, Clark . Oh, and by the way...I’m going to need that money back.” Clark smiled.

Clark picked up Lana at her apartment, and they drove over to Chloe’s house. They decided buying her and Pete dinner was the least they could do after everything they put them through. For old time sake, they went to the Talon and got their old regulars.

“This is nice...the four of us again.” Clark said.

“Yeah. It’s funny how you think everything is always going to be the same forever, but in reality everything changes.” Pete responded.

Chloe joined in. “Yeah, some people leave,” she looked at Pete, “some people finally come clean about their feelings for one another,” her eyes turned towards Clark and Lana.

“But it’s good to know that even if things do change, you can come back and have coffee with them again; that you’ll always be friends and never forget each other.” Lana looked at everyone when she said this and they all smiled. “Hey, Clark, my coffee is kinda cold, could you warm it up with your eyes?”

Chloe choked on her coffee. Her and Pete’s jaws dropped and they looked at each other very surprised.

Clark laughed. “Don’t worry guys, I told her last night.”

“Oh, is that what you meant when you said a lot happened last night, Lana?” Chloe asked.

“Umm....yeah.” She smiled and then looked at Clark, and he smiled back. She put her hand on his knee, and he put his hand on hers. They both knew that’s not what she meant, but for now that would be their little secret. They gazed into each other’s eyes; they were so much in love. Clark and Lana had no regrets; they were happy about everything that took place last night. And they didn’t even need red kryptonite to make it all happen.
