Summary: Lana and Clark went through there freshmen and sophmoore year being best friends. but after those two years of college Clark was about to make a move but it was too late.... Lana was engaged to Jason Teague.

I couldn't believe the news that I just found out. I was heartbroken. Even though me and Lana were just friends i secretly loved her so much more then she will ever know.

But little did Clark know that Lana felt the same but resist because she didn't want to get hurt again. Everytime Lana got close he pulled away....

OKAY.... This must be the shortest first part post you have ever read but I'm still thinking..... :confused: :( :D :\ Please forgive me??

Just then Clark sees Lana in the hallway and Clark walks up to her.

Clark: Hey.... Lana...

Lana: Hey Clark! How are you??

Clark: Great.... he lied.... Congratulations on the engagment!

Lana: Yea.. thanks

Lana was hoping for a more sad part of Clark to show her that he still cared but realized that he could be lying.... Lana wasn't sure.

Clark: Have you guys decided when to have the wedding yet?

Lana: Yea.... three weeks from now....

Lana and Jason have been engaged for 1 month.

Clark: Thats great.

Lana: You don't seem too happy about it.

Clark: huh? me no I'm just a little sleepy.. He lied

Then it turned into a silent moment...

Lana: Well I better get going I have to meet Jason for Lunch.

Clark: Well have fun...

Then Clark watched Lana as she left and then he went back to his dorm.

Chloe: Hey CLark why the long face?

Clark: Lana is engaged....

Chloe: Oh.. you found out huh?

Clark: yea... I did..

Chloe: Clark I don't know what to say.... I'm sorry...

Clark: Just say that you know some club we can go to with Lois and Pete?

Chloe: Are you sure you want to go out?

Clark:Yea I'm sure its the only way i can keep my mine off Lana..

Chloe: okay.. I think I have smething in mine she said with a big smile.

Pete, Lois, and Chloe all went to Met U with Clark.

So Chloe called up Pete and Lois to meet them in front of the university.

Then Chloe and Clark got ready and went to go meet them there.

Clark: Pete!

Pete: Hey Clark!

Lois: hey Lois how are you.... i'm doing great thanks for asking.. she was joking

Clark: Hey Lois....

Lois: Whats up Smallville

Chloe: Hey Pete.. Hey Lois.

Lois: So where are we going?

Chloe: Club Atlantis.

Pete: Sweet!

Clark: Alright lets get going.

Pete: What about Lana?

Chloe: Pete! shoosh! xnay on the Lnay!

Pete: Oh.. oops...

Luckily CLark didn't hear anything.

But someone by the window did.... Lana...

She couldn't believe it.. they were going out and they didn't invite her because Clark doesn't want anything to do with me?? So many things were going through her mind.. Then a tear came down her cheek.

Clark, Pete, Lois, and Chloe all got in the car and headed toward Club Atlantis.

When they got there it was a long line and they knew they couldn't get in...

Chloe: How are we going to get in?

Pete: I know.. Clark?

Clark: Yea I got it.

Clark went up to the security guard.

Security Guard: Hey Kal! Long time no see

Clark: Yea.. listen some of my friends and me want to get in.

Security Guard: Bring'em in..

Clark went back to Pete.

Clark: alright lets go!

they all went in following Clark.

Lois: How did you get us in?

Chloe: There's a lot of things Clark can do and this is n't even half of it...

Clark told Chloe his secret to her and she was amazingly okay with it.

Once they got in they started to dance and have a few drinks... but Lois was mostly the one who drank the most.

Meanwhile....

Lana was in Jason's car going to lunch.

Jason: are you okay Lana?

Lana: Yea I'm great... Listen Jason could i ask you a question?

Jason: Yea sure.

Lana: And don't take it the wrong way okay?

Jason: Lana what is it?

Lana: How would you feel if I was engaged to Clark?

Jason: Well... I would be heartbroken.... and hurt because I loved you som much... and well the only way to get that of my mind was to go do something else...

Jason: What is this all about??/

Lana: Nothing its nothing i was just figuring out something. she lied.

Club Atlantis

Chloe: hey Clark why aren't you dancing?

Clark: I'm just thinking..

Chloe: Clark, If you love her that much then dont' let her go.

Clark; but i want her to be happy and all i cause her is pain....

Chloe: Well why dont' you be honest and tell her aobut your secret.. you told me and i was fine.

Clark; i don't know Chloe...

Chloe: Clark its now or never....

Then she went back to dancing..

Then Clark had a flashback of when he was on red K and he was with Lana at Club atlantis.


Fashback

Lana: Why did she call you Kal?

Clark: its my secret identity

Clark pulling lana to follow

Lana: Clark! Clark! I've been worried about you for 3 months and you've been hanging around in night clubs?!?!?!

Clark: You're so cute when your angry.

Clark pulls her to follow to the bar.

Clark: Lana you keep talking about hicksville you are going to be on the next bus goign back..

Lana gives him a mad look..

Clark: now i thought you were here to have fun..

Lana: your right.. sorry.. i'll go freshen up

Clark: hey why? I think you look great

Clark leans in to give her a passionate kiss

Clark/kal: I'm glad your here

a second of silence..

Lana: me too.

Then walks away...

*end of flash back


Pete: hey you guys want to go swimming in Crater Lake?

Clark: yea sure lets go..

Chloe: I'm in..

Lois: Count me in..

so they drive off to crater Lake..

In the car

Lois: but we don't have anything about swimming suits

Chloe: who said anything aobut swimming suits?

Clark: skinny dipping!!

Lois: are you serious??

Pete: yep

Chloe: and believe me this isn't clarks first skinny dipping per say

Clark: CHLOE!

Lois: What is she talking about??

CLark: for the moment no until Lana came...

Clark then looked away....

Chloe: the classic dreaming of the girl next door...

Lois: oh my god! you went skinny dipping with lana?!?!?!

Clark: In my dream...
Lois: does Lana know about this?

Clark: sort of...

Chloe: Whoa hold on you didnt' tell me this! What do you mean sort of?

Clark: well she came up to my loft and asked me if I wanted to go swimming at Crater Lake....and

Chloe and Lois: and?

Clark: Well I said that skinny dipping wasn't such a good idea.

Lois: how did she take it?

Clark: she said maybe in my dreams...

Chloe: so you mentioned it?
Pete: yea something like right Clark?

Chloe: you knew about this?

Pete: Yep.. anyways aside from the story we're here.

But when they got to the lake Pete spotted Lana and Jason making out!

Then Pete quickly went back to the car before clark would come.

Pete: Hey guys you know what maybe we should go swimming later I mean it is a chilly.....

Chloe: Pete what are you talking abo- then chloe saw lana and jason and knew what Pete was talking about.

Chloe: yea you know what it is getting a little chilly...

Lois: Okay, Chloe, are you okay?

Chloe: Great just great.. so how about we go grab a bite to eat?

Lois: Wh- Oh yea you know what your right lets go grab a bite to eat. Lois then saw Lana and jason and knew whta chloe was talking about.

Pete: Yea alright lets go he said pushing Clark toward the car.

Clark: What? Come on guys what the worst that could happ-

Then Clark then saw Jason and Lana... and looked down.

Then when Jason and Lana wer done Lana saw Clark look down and everybody getting in the car along with clark.

Pete: Lets go buddy....

They all got in the car and left.

Lana was speechless and confused. What did shedo to make everybody avoid her?

Meanwhile in the car

Pete: so how we go to the Talon to get some caffine?

Chloe and Lois: PETE!

Pete: did i say Talon i meant uhh..

Clark: its okay Pete.

Pete: hey how about we go visit your parents I haven't seen them in a while..

Clark: yea that would be great.

Chloe: Lets go!

SO they drove off to Smallville and arrived at the kent's house.

Lois: Mrs. kent! Mr.Kent!

Jonathan and Martha: hey Lois!

Clark: Hey MOm! hey dad!

They hug.

Pete: Mr. Kent, Mrs. Kent

Chloe: Mrs. KEnt! Mr. Kent

Martha: Chloe! Pete!

Jonathan: Pete! Chloe!

Clark went up to the barn without saying a word.

Martha: Whats wrong with Clark?

Chloe: One word.. Lana

Martha: Oh dear.

Lana: Hey Jason I'm gona go visit the Kents..

Jason: okay then see you later Mrs. Teague

they kiss good bye..

When Lana go into her car she wondering why everybody was avoiding her. She couldn't think of another reason but Clark.
So many things were going through her mind. She knew Clark was going to smallville because she had a feeling he would. She wouldn't know what to do when she got there.

At the Kents

Martha: Chloe why don't you go see how Clark is doing?

Chloe: Sure Mrs. Kent

Chloe went over to the loft.

Chloe: Hey Clark...

Clark was looking at the sunset and turned around to se Chloe

Clark: hey chloe

Chloe: So how are you doing?

Clark: okay... i guess.

Chloe: Wanna talk about it?

Just then Lana pulled into the driveway of the Kents.

Pete: Lois look

Lois: What are we going to do?

Martha: What are you two talking about?

Pete: well you see Mrs.Kent ever since Clark found out about the engagment he's been avoiding her...

Lois: Pete she coming this way.. we can't let her see smallville like this...

Martha: Its okay you two just let her do what she needs to do.

Just before Lana could knock on the door Lois opened it.

Lana: Well hey Lois

Lois: hey Lana, what brings you here?

Lana: I need to talk to Clark.

Lois: Well he's no-

He is in the loft martha interrupted.

Lana: Thanks Mrs. Kent.

just when Lana was about to head to the barn

Martha: uhh... Congrats for you and Jason

Lana: Thanks Mrs. Kent.

Then she headed to the barn.

when she got there she heard Chloe and Clark talking and could help but listen in.

Clark: I accepted that she was engaged i really did but theres just a part of me that says that i should fight for what i love.

Chloe:Then why don't you?

CLark: you know why Chloe

Chloe: Just because Lana doesn't know your secret doesn't mean you shouldn't fight for what you want.

Lana was suprised to hear what Chloe said.

CLark: its not that simple Chloe.. I can't just walk up to Lana and tell her how I feel she engaged.. i mean you saw her a crater lake she obviously loves him.

Lana thought to herself they saw that? I can't believe they saw us and didn't say anything. but Lana knew why.

She continued to listen...

Chloe: Come on Clark your stronger than this all those times when she was with Whitney, how is this any different???

Clark: I don't know it just is..

Chloe: Tell me Clark what do you know?

Clark: I know is that I love Lana and I would do anything to be with her I would give anything to be with her for just a minute.

Chloe: then do it.. tell her how you feel... like i said before its now or never..

Lana heard everything that clark said. She started to cry and realized how much Clark loved her. At this moment she didn't care if he had secrets she just knew she loved him too. Clark her someone crying and when he went to go look Lana had already been running to her car and leaving.

Clark: Lana.......

Lana didn't know what to do about what happened and what she heard. So she decided to go back to the Kent's.

When she got there she went straight to Clark's loft.

Martha: Isn't that Lana's Car?

Jonathan: Yea it is should i go talk to her?

Martha:No. Let her do what she needs to do.

Jonathan: Is Clark even there?

Martha: but he is coming later.

Jonathan: Does she even know that Clark isn't there?

Martha: Probably no but I have feeling she does.

The Loft

Lana went upstairs to find a bunch a papers scattered on the table.

She went to pick one up that said "Lana"

She read it out loud


Dearest Lana,

I don't know what you heard that day you came to my loft but I hope you did hear it because everything that I said was true but I know that I could never have you. Lana started to tear..I wish I knew what happened to us. But I just need you to know this. I'd never imagined sitting here beside myself, I never should of let you go, The feeling that I'm feeling now that I don't hear your voice or have your touch and kiss your lips. Cause I don't have a choice. What I wouldn't give to have you lying by my side. I can never love anyone the way I love you and nobody can take your place because there isn't nobody better who can take your place. At this point Lana was crying and couldn't stop to think how much she meant to Clark. She continued, Lana I could never stop loving you even when I was five. And I been loving you to this day and the dance that we shared at the prom will be the closest thing I'll have left of you. Lana Lang, I love you.

Clark Kent

Then a voice said: I really did mean everything thing in that letter.

Lana turned to see Clark standing there with red cheeks looking like he has been crying.

Lana: Clark.. I-

Clark: Don't worry Lana I know I can't be with you cause your in love with somebody else.

Lana: No Clark don't say that because

Then Lana took of the ring and threw out and walked over to Clark and gave him a passionate kiss.

Lana: because I still love you.

Just then Lana woke up and it was only a dream. She started to cry because it was only a dream and nothing more. But she decided to make it real and went to Clark's dorm.

She knocked on the door and Clark opened it.

Lana: Clark?

Clark: Lana?

They both looked like they have been crying all day.

It is, but personally i like stories that would seem believeable. Obviously they're not, but almost all fanfics could be real. That's what makes them good in my opinion, but you can go anyway you want. Unless you really believe if lana would do that.

Oh.... you saw that.. .CLark said scratching his head.

Yes I did.. Lana replied giving him a mad look..

Umm... we just thought you two could use a little privacy... he lied.

Lana: Then why were you looking down?

Uhh... Well you know thats funny because there was something on my shoe and I didn't know what it was so I was just standing looking at what it was.... and Pete-

Lana: Clark don't lie to me.... I am not stupid...

Clark blew out......

Lana: I'm going to ask you one question and I want you to answer honestly.

Clark: okay...

Lana: Clark, Are you still in love with me?


CLark: Lana-

Just then Chloe came in.

Chloe: hey Clark- Was I interrupting something?

Lana: Its okay Chloe we're done..

Chloe: Are you sure cause i can wait outside...

Clark: yes but I can't have you.. my life is to dangerous for you to be in...

A tear came down Lana's cheek

Chloe then tip toed outside and closed the door.

Lana then walked up to Clark

Lana: I don't understand why it has to be like this.

Then a tear came down clark's cheek and he put one hand on Lana's cheek

Clark: you can't have it both ways Lana.... you can't marry jason and love me at the same time... I think you and I both know why you said yes to him..

Then Clark walked out of the room and before he was going into the hallway he turned to chloe

Clark:I guess its never....

And left Lana in tears....

Chloe to Lana: He loves you but he doesn't want to hurt you because of who he is.

Lana: What are you talking about Chloe?

Chloe: Clark is probably to chicken to tell you his secret but i just can't see you two in pain so I'm going to do it. Clark isn't from here Lana...

Maybe Lana will interrupt her, insisting that Chloe not tell her anything that Clark wasn't willing to tell her himself. Then she could go back to see Clark again???? That's just my opinion, though. I'll wait to see where you take the story. :)

Chloe: But thats not the point Lana, the point is that Clark loves you very much and that the only reason he pushes you away is because he will always have enemies and the enemies will always go after the ones he loves. So you have to understand why he can't have you.

then lana was off to the kent's house and soon as she got there she ran to the barn and found Clark sleeping on the couch.

She thought to her self, he so cute when he's sleeping! then she walked over to Clark and snuggled next to him and fell asleep.

the next morning Clark woke up to find someone sleeping next to him.

Clark: Lana?

He thought to himself, she's so beautiful when she sleeps.

Clark: Lana wake up.

she didn't budge.

Clark gave her a kiss on the cheek.

she smiled but didn't wake up

Then Clark leaned in and gave her a kiss on the lips and she kissed him back. Then she turned around to him and slipped her tongue in his mouth and put her hands on his chest. Clark gladly slipped his tongue into her mouth too. Then when Clark was about to pull away Lana put her hand behind his head and pulled him back in. Clark wasn't expecting this not that he didn't mind but he just wanted to give her a quick kiss. then Lana rolled over on top of Clark kissing passionately tongue and all. Lana was kissing Clark like she was under the nicodemus flower and there was no tomorrow.

then Lana pulled away.

Clark: That was nice...

Lana; Nice? we have been making out for about 15 minutes and all i get is a nice?

Clark then smiled.

Lana: You liar!

Lana gave him a playful slap on his chest.

Clark:I'm not the one who sneaked in for a nap.

Lana: Oh, sorry about that.

Clark: Its okay, it was the best morning wake up call in my life.

Lana: Glad to see i made an impression.

Clark: But i bet i can make a better one.

Lana:Oh really?

Clark: Do you really want some of this?

Lana: I don't think you could do bet-

Clark gave her a passionate kiss. Clark bit her lip and Lana gladly opened her mouth to allow access for his tongue and Lana slipped her tongue in his mouth too. Just like Lana when she was about to pull away clark pulled her back in.

Then Clark pulled away.

Lana's cheeks were red and her eyes were still closed.

then she opened them and stated to fan herself.

Lana:WOW.

Clark: I told you i could do better.

Lana: You sure did prove it.

Clark: I love you lana

Lana: I love you too Clark.

Clark: My parents are going to Metropolis for the week and I- we have the house to ourselves...

Lana: I like this sexcy Clark I'm hearing.

She found this very attractive.

Clark: What would you like for breakfast?

Lana: Banana Pancakes?

Clark: A stack of Banana Pancakes coming right up.

Lana: Clark?

Clark: Yes?

"Do you think you could help me up my legs feel kind of numb," she teased.

Clark: Your lucky i love you so much.

So Lana wrapped her arms around CLark's neck and Clark carried her to the house and set her down on a chair in the kitchen.

Clark: better get to work on those pancakes.

Lana watched Clark making pancakes but then after a while Lana started to look a other things such as his behind and everything he turned around Lana looked at his muscular chest. Clark did notice that she was looking at him but he didn't mind. Sometimes Lana would drop things on purpose to see his butt because sometimes he went behind something and it block the view.

Clark: Lana you don't have to drop things just to look at my butt.

Lana's eyes widened.

How did he know I was checking him out? probably because i dropped so many things. she thought to herself.

Lana: I'm not looking at your butt Clark!

Clark:YOu know you were i mean who wouldn' t?

Lana: I wasn't!

Clark: Lana, Lana, Lana, if you were up here making these pancakes i would be looking too you know.

Lana: I guess i was lucky today then huh?

Clark: yeah today but tomorrow you'll be up here!

Lana: but you will have to get me out of bed and its not going to be easy.

Clark: You have underestimated me Lana Lang, I have my ways.... pancakes are done! ready to eat?

Lana: I have been ready.

Great lets dig in. After breakfast they sat down on the couch and started to make out for a while.

Clark: Lana are you up for anything right now?

Lana: Sure.

Clark: SO... are you up to listening to my secret?

Lana was so relieved she finally was going to know Clark Kent's secret.

Lana: I'm ready.

Lana saw the guilt in Clark's eyes.

Lana: Clark its not your fault you were young you had no control over it. Don't blame yourself blame your father.

Clark: How could you be so calm abut it but still if i hadn't been born i wouldn't have came to earth, and the meteor shower wouldn't have happened, you parents would still be alive, the people infected by the meteor shower wouldn't be out to kill you. Lana the instant I came down to earth you were in trouble and pain already.

Lana: Clark! don't say that! when you came into our lives you gave us love and safety. That five year old boy had no control over what happened. The five year old boy acted like a kid and was in love with the young girl next door and that young girl next door gave love back to the five year old boy and now we are here today, happy because if that little boy didn't come into my life I wouldn't have been so happy like I am right now.

Clark took in what Lana just said and also touched by it too. He was speechless.

The Clark supersped to the video store and grocery store and came back in 5 minutes.

Clark put in the dvd and sat down.

Lana: Why are you sitting all the way there?

Clark: Well I thought you might need some space to stretch your legs.

Lana didn't you want to watch a movie? I mean not that i dont' mind where you are going with this...

Lana: Well i'm just trying to find your sensitive spot.

Lana then slid her hand down to his knee knowing that that was his ticklish spot.

Clark then jumped and lana started to giggle.

Clark: You know what i've noticed to day lana?

Lana: What?

Clark: You are very touchy today not that i don't mind it just that i never thought i'd see you act like this ever again after the nicodemus incident.

Lana: Are you accusing of touching you too much?

Clark: Maybe.....

Lana: guilty as charged.

Clark: Shouldn't we be watching the movie now?

Lana: Yea.... Sure

Then Lana sat on Clarks lap and Clark felt a little uncomfortable because he didn't know where to put his hands. Even though Lana was his, he was still respectful.

During the movie Clark always changed th positonsof his hands and Lana noticed that he didn't put his hands on her during the movie. She smiled and loved that he was always trying to be respectful.

So then Lana took both of his hands and wrapped it around her waist.

Lana: feel better now?

Clark: Yeah.. thanks

During the next few hours of the movies Lana and Clark were making out and both of there shirts were already off!

Lana: Lets go to your room CLark.

Clark then carried Lana and supersped to the room.

Lana: Show off.


The next morning

Lana woke up to find Clark still sleeping and Shelby sleeping on the floor.

Lana:Shelby come here.

Lana told shelby to do something to Clark.

Lana: Go get'em!

Clark... Clark... we should... Lana then gulped for she was in a trance..... really get... out of bed...

La- Lana clark said getting weaker by the moment.

Then the perosn in the dark came out and it was no other then Jason Teague.

Lana: Jason??? What the hell are you ding in my apartment?

Jason: Well i came here to steal you back.

Lana: But i thought i made things clear that we are only friends.

Jason: i lied.

Clark was getting weaker and weaker but Lana never heard his call to her.

Jason: Whats the matter clark feeling a little sick?

Lana then looked at Clark on the floor dieing by the minute.

Lana: CLARK!!!! STOP IT JASON!!

Jason held out a green rock that was glowing.

Lana knelt down beside Clark putting his head on her lap and started tearing.

Lana: Clark everything is going to be okay...

Th- the ro-rock get it away from me.... clark said barely in a whisper.

Jason:Lana see him for what he is!! he's not even human!

Lana: Clark is more human that you'll ever be! and i care if he's not human i will still love him!

Jason: NO!!! You will be in love with me!!! The Jason pulled out a gun and pointed it at Lana.

Clark saw what was going on but couldn't do anything because he was so weak. he forced himslef to get up but everytime he did the pain got worst. All his energy was draining out by the minute.

Jason pointed the gun at Lana and was about to shoot...


BONG!!! Jason fell down to the ground and as soon as he did Lana grabbed the rock ran to the window and threw it as far as she could. BUt Clark was still loosing consciness cause he was exposed to the kryptonite too much.

Chloe had a broken mug in her hand and bleeding.

Chloe: Are you two okay?

Lana: Yea.. I'm fine.. we have to help clark... he's not waking up!

Clark now was out cold.

Lana cying heavily: CLARK!! DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!

Chloe also was crying heavily as the two girls were hovering over clark crying and urging him to come back to them.

Chloe: CLARK! come on come back to us!

Lana: Lets bring him to my couch.

Chloe and Lana dragged him to the couch and because of there adrenaline there were able to lift him up to the couch.

Lana: Clark please come back to me! i love you! please come back!

Chloe: come on clark we have to go through college remember? come on don't let me go through it alone

Chloe: Lana what are we going to do? He's hardly breathing.... what if he won't-

Lana interruted: NO!! he'll make it don't you dare say that he won't! Chloe call the kents there in metropolis.

Chloe: Jason he hand a meteor rock and clark was exposed to it to long and now he's hardly breathing!

Chloe: Lana's apartment come quick!

Jonathan: Okay will be there as soon as we can hang in there.

Lana: What did they say?

Chloe: There coming.

Lana: Chloe lets take care of your wound.

She ran to the bathroom and came out with antibiotics and nadages.

Lana: thanks chloe if it weren't for you clark and i wouldn't be here.

Chloe: Sure no problem i'd knock somebody over the head any day.

Lana: What about Jason's body is he still alive?

Chloe went over and checked his pulse.

He's still breathing. Sunddenly Jason grabbed chloe arm and she screamed.

Jason: you think you killed me? not yet!

He got up and picked up the gun pointing it at chloe

Lana: Jason let her go!

Jason: So my plan worked? good. that meteor rock was no ordinary one it was a special one that i made to make the effects last longer.

Lana: WHAT DID YOU DO!

Jason: Simply really. I just took one meteor rock and made its effect 100 times stronger on Clark! And i only have one antidote. Until then he's going to die in 10 minutes!

Lana was angry and furious but she didn't know what to do. Jason was holding chloe with a gun to her head and clark was dying and she was losing time, in about 10 minutes the man she loved was about to die!

Jason started to feel dizzy but fought back against it. His blow to the head was bleeding so much.

Jason: So here's the deal i'll give you Chloe but you lose clark or you lose Chloe and save Clark.

Lana: THAT'S NOT FAIR! I will lose someone either way!

Jason: Well its your choice or you could just lose both of them. time is running out lana clark is about to die a painful death in about 7 minutes.

Lana didn't know what to do. Time was running out....

Her best friend chloe who was like a sister to her or Clark her ever loving boyfriend?

Just as lana wasa about to decide, clark wakes up but still is a little weak, he had heard what Jason had said.

"Lana" he whispered... Save chloe....

Lana: NO! I'm going to save both of you! I'm not going to lose you or Chloe.

Clark: SAVE CHLOE!

Jason: This is ridiculous, its taking too long, i'm just going to kill you instead!

Jason fired and with every strength left with Clark, he jumped out of the couch using his hands and took the bullet.

Lana: CLARK!!!

Chloe: YOU BASTARD!

Then chloe broke free and punched Jason hard in the face and ran over to Clark.

Chloe then saw what the bullet was.

CHloe: Lana, its a kryptonite bullet!

Lana: Call 911 and Pete!

CHloe called pete first.

Chloe:Pete, its Chloe, Clark's been shot with a kryptonite bullet meet us at the hospital quick!

Pete: Okay I'll be there in 5 minutes.

Then she called 911!

CHloe : Hello? Clark kent has been shot please come to the talon and the body of Jason Teague is here.

Person on the phone: Okay we will be ther right away!

Lana: Lets bring him to the car!

They both carried Clark to Lana's car.

Chloe was in the back with a cloth putting pressure on his wound.

They arrived at the hospital with pete waiting there with a bed.

Pete: Quickly! I'll take it from here.

Lana was about to follow but Chloe held her back.

Lana was crying in fear and so was Chloe.

They waited for housrs for Pete to come out of the E.R

3 hours later.....

Pete: Lana, Chloe.

Lana: How is he?

Pete: He's fine now but..

Lana: But what?

Pete: he's in a very deep sleep and I tried everything to wake him but he just won't wake up.

Chloe: Is there anything we can do?

Pete: Nothing now.. but you could go see hi-

Lana ran into his room so fast that you'd think she has superspeed.

Chloe: She's really worried.

Pete: I could see that.

*Clark's Room*

Lana: Clark..... don't leave me... please... I love you.

Clark still in a coma: To be alone.

Lana: What?

Clark: My destiny is to be alone.

Lana: Clark I am not leaving your side. YOU WILL NEVER BE ALONE!!!

Clark still in a deep sleep: I love you Lana Lang!

Lana: Clark if you can hear me, I love you too. Why did you take that bullet? You were in enough pain already and now look at you, your in a hospital bed fighting for your life!

Clark's hand moved.

Lana: Clark?

Clark's eyes then suddenly opened.

CLark: Lana?

She went in a gave him a bug hug and kissed him all over his face.

Lana: Oh CLark I thought I'd lost you!

Clark: Well here I am awake and active.

Chloe came in.

Chloe: CLARK!!

Clark: CHLOE!!! are you okay?

CHloe: Yes, i'm fine, how are you doing?

Clark: Alive and running great.

Pete then came in

Pete: CLARK?

Clark: PETE!!

Pete: Man we though we'd lost you man! don't ever do that again!!

Clark: Thanks Pete! So when can i get out of here?

Pete: Let me just do a quick check up on you and getyour lease forms.

Later...


Pete: Well everything seems to be fine. I just need to know who's taking care of you.

Pete gave a quick glance at Lana.

Lana: That will be me!

Clark: Are you sure that you want me at your place?

Lana: Clark, I've been to yours so now lets go to mine.

Clark: Whatever you say.....

Chloe: ehmmm... what about me?

Lana: DOn't worry you come too and get your car.

CHloe: Thank you.

Clark got dresed and they all went to the car.

In the car Clark and Lana were fooling around in the back while CHloe was driving.

Chloe: Oh come on!! Can't you two love bords do that when I'm gone???

Clark: Sorry Chloe, but like i said before Lana can't keep her hands to herself.

Lana hits him playfully.

Clark: And when-

Chloe: And when she's not touching you she hits you. I got it! We are here finally!

they all got out of the car and chloe went straight to her car.

Chloe: good night!

Bye chloe!

When they got in Lana pulled CLark up to the apartment.

Lana: good they cleaned up i hope Jason goes to hell!

Clark: Maybe I should get shot more often....

Lana: Clark!

Clark: What?

Lana pulled him in for a long passionate kiss. Then after Lana pulled away.

Clark: So where am i sleeping?

Lana: On my bed.....

Clark: Then where would you be sleeping?

Lana: On my bed.....

Clark: your sleeping on your bed and i'm sleeping on your bed... whats right aobut this picture?

Clark raised an eye brow...

Lana: well if you don't want to....

Clark: I 'm not complaining....

Lana then pulled him in to the room and on to the bed.
She pulle him on top of her and CLark leanedin a kissed her. Lana started to unbutton his shirt and pants. Clark lifted her shirt off.

CLark then pulled away..

and she pulled him in again.

Clark pulled how her pants. He started to kiss her neck down to her stomach and back up as clark did this Lana giggled a little.
Lana kissed Clark's muscle body.

The next morning Clark and Lana were under covers on Lana 's bed.

Clark had woken up first and Lana was still sleeping. He decided to make breakfast for him and her. He made eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, and coffeeand then after he made a phone call to a friend.......

Lana was woken up by the smell of the coffee and smiled.

Lana got up and went outside. She went behind Clark and wrapped her arms around his waist.

Lana: Good morning handsome.

Clark: Good morning beautiful.

Lana: I see you made breakfast.

Clark: Yes I have and we have a great selection too, so dig in.

Lana went over to the counter and started eating and soon Clark joined in.

Lana: That was delicious!

Clark: Well having a mom that can really cook and bake really is cool

Then there was a knock on the door.

Lana:Who is it?

It's Lex...

Lana opened the door

Lex: Hey Clark...

Clark: Hey lex

Lex: I heard what happened are you two okay?

Lana: Yea

Lex: I can't believe Jason went at you two like that.

Clark: Yea I can't believe it either.....

Lana: So what can we do for you?

Lex: Well I came to see how you two were doing and by the looks of things there good but i could make them even better.

What do have in mind Lex? Clark pretending not to know because Clark had asked Lex for a favor.

Lex: Well I can see that you two obviously need a vacation from all this drama so, I got two plane tickets for you to Paris thats leaving tomorrow.

Lana: WOW! Lex thats great! Thank you so much...

Lex: Don't thank me just yet.

He then looked at Clark.

Clark: Thanks lex, thanks a lot.

Lex: Anything for my best friend and his girlfriend. Oh by the way Clark, the package that you ordered is with Chloe.

Clark: Thanks Lex.

Lex: Well I guess i should get going so you two can get packed. oh and everything is set so don't worry about transportation around Paris and hotels just relax there.

Lana: Oh lex thanks.

The lex left.

Lana: Can you belive it? We're off to Paris tomorrow!

Clark: Yea, can't wait...


Lana: Well call your parents and tell them and i'll go pack.

Clark: Okay.

Lana went inside and changed and packed.

Clark supersped to Chloe's apartment and picked up the package and supersped back to Lana's apartment. Then he went over to his house and packed. His parents already knew his plan and pretty much everybody else knew (accept Lana) what he was doing since they all helped. Then he went back to Lana's apartment before Lana even noticed and put his bags down and sat down on her couch and watched tv.

"Everything's set" he said to himself.

Lana came out of the room with two full bags.

Lana: Well I'm all packed... now you have to-

She then saw two bags next to the couch.

Clark: Pack? I'm way ahead of you honey.

Lana: what about your-

Clark: Parents? I already told them.

Lana: didn't Lex say something about a-

Clark: Package? picked it up.

Lana: Can I finish my own sentences please?

Clark: sorry.

Lana: So whats in the package?

Clark: I don't know haven't opened it.

Lana: Why don't you open it then

Clark: don't want to now.

Lana: okay..... so what are we doing for the rest of the day?

Clark: I don't know.. you can do whatever you want... just not with another guy other then me of course.

Lana: Don't worry I have you to protect me from them

Then she went over to kiss Clark and sat on his lap with her head on his chest.

Lana: How about we just stay here the whole day?

Clark: I don't know... I mean it does get boring around here.....

Lana: Boring?

Clark: Yes, If you haven't notice its very quiet....

Lana: Shut up!

Then she slaps him playfully on the chest

Clark: Ouch!

Lana: I thought you were the man of steel?

Clark: yes I am but when your around my steel defense goes down...

Lana: That happens to me too when your around I feel safe with you...

Clark lifted an eye brow....

Clark slowly moved his hand toward Lana's stomach where she was most ticklish....

AH! hahaa!! Clark stop it!

Clark kept tickling Lana and she was laughing.

Okay!!! hahaah... I surrender!

She decided to get him back. She pulled him down for a kiss and slowly moved her hand down to his tummy and started to do the same.

Hey! thats cheating!

Well now it doesn't seem fair to you now does it?

Then after the hours went by they watched movies and ate dinner.

The next Morning...

The alarm clock went off and Clark tried to look for the button to stop it but he ended up smashing to pieces.


Lana is going to kill me.... Lana wake up, we got to get to the airport.

Lana then smiled but didn't wake up.

Clark: I will do whatever it takes to get you out of bed Lana....

Lana then groaned.

Clark: I know what your trying to Lana... but you know if i do it we'll never get out of bed and get to Paris.

Lana turned around to Clark with still closed eyes..


Don't worry... we'll get out of bed...

Clark: Nope... come on lana get up..

He then picked her up out of bed and brang her to the bathroom...

Come on I got you out of bed and I think you can do the rest while I'll take a shower.

Lana then opened her eyes in suprise.

Okay I'm up I'm up...


Clark: thats what I thought now get going.

Then Clark was about to walk out of the bathroom until Lana pulled his arm..

Lana: I thought you were going to take a shower while I get ready?

Clark: i just said that to wake you up..

Please? she said with puppy dog eyes

Clark: Lana don't make me go all mother on you now get ready.

Then after Lana got ready Clark went in and took a shower, Lana couldn't help but take a peek.

Now they were off to the airplane and flying to Paris first class.

When they got there there was a limo there waiting for them to take them to the hotel.

Lana: WOW! It's so beautiful!

Clark: I knew you would like it.

Lana: What?

Clark: Uhmm... I like it too.

Phew that was close... If I gave Lana any hint she'll think I planned all this... he thought to himself

Lana: Say how about we go out and explore the beautiful Paris?

Clark: Let's go! hey maybe we could go to the Eiffel Tower?

Lana: Sounds great!


The Eiffet Tower.... Perfect... he thought to himself.

So then they went to the Effiel Tower but stopped by a small restaraunt for lunch. After they finished they went off to the Eiffel Tower.

Clark: You know I heard that a lot of girls got purposed to here.

Lana: Really? I wouldn't mind getting purposed to here.

Clark: So you would like getting purposed to here?

Lana: Yea I think its roman-

Clark: What's wrong Lana?

Lana: YOu aren't going to, purpose to me are you?

Clark: Is there something wrong with that?

Then he got down on one knee.

Clark: Lana Lang, Will you marry me?

Lana: I.. I ... I don't know what to say,...

Clark: Well then yousay yes or no.... hopefully I get a yes?

Lana: uh...

Clark: I don't know what it means...

Lana: Yes...

Clark: Yes?

Lana: YES! YEs! I will marry you!!!

Clark then slipped on the ring and hugged Lana, Then she kissed him,

Lana: Lets go celebrate!

Clark: Alright would you like to take a taxi or go super speed?

Lana: Lets take the faster way.

Then Clark picked up Lana and supersped all over the place . They had the time of there lives.

THen they went back to the hotel.

Lana then put a do not disturb sign on the door knob.

Clark layed on the bed looking at the ceiling.

Then Lana walked over to him and started to kiss his lips and his neck.

Clark: What are we doing???

Lana: I think you have an idea but if you don't want to....

Clark: No complaints here.

Lana was on top on Clark kissing him all over. Then Clark rolled over so he would be on top of her . Then he started to kiss her lips..... her chin.... cheek.... and neck and then again and again. Lana unbuttoned his shirt and pants while Clark pulled off her shirt and pants.

Soon all there clothes were off and they were under covers.

The both of them oved each other when they woke up.

2 months later......

The bride is walking down the isle with a beautiful veil over her face. The maid of honor was Chloe and the bridesmate was Lois. The best man was Pete.


The wedding lasted for about an hour.
"YOu may now kiss the bride" the minister said and Clark kissed Lana.

"I now give you Mr. and Mrs. Clark Kent"

It was official Lana is now Lana Kent. She couldn't believe she would end up marrying Clark. It was not a dream . It was the real thing and Lana was so happy. She couldn't ask for anyone better then Clark Kent.
