Hey everyone!

Sorry, it has been forever. Lots of computer and internet bugs in my new apartment, but hopefully they are all figured out. It is good to be back. I hope you all remember who I am haha. I am planning on updating this week. It's hard now that I am back at school and loads of work, but I will squeeze some time in to update both of my stories. Meg, we STILL have not forgotten your story. Isn't Clark going to get to go eat at Lana's? Can't you at least post a message, letting us know what's going on in your life to keep you away so long? We're worried about you. You didn't get washed away by a hurricane, did you? I hope not! (Katrina put 2 trees on my house. :/) Really hope you get to update soon - and catch up on our stories. Wow, it has been ages since I have been at this bored, no interent at my apartment, and school kept me busy, but here is a good long update, I hope you enjoy, thanks for remaning faithful everyone, sorry I was gone for so long! Enjoy. Please feedback. As you remember, Lana asked Hyrum and Clark out on a date to her house for dinner. Enjoy and please respond.



Lana lay in bed. She slowly began to stir as the sun came through her blinds.
She stretched her arms, as a smile played across her face. "Today is the day."
She thought. Her mind was racing with the way tonight was going to go. "Anything
could happen...." She said and let out a soft giggle, "well not anything, we
will be with a 7 year old the whole night." Yet still she couldn't wait. She
smiled remembering how excited Hyrum had gotten at the prospects of coming to
her house for dinner, she just hoped Clark was just as excited if not more. She
slowly climbed out of bed her blanket still wrapped around her petite figure and
turned on the radio. She slowly moved her feet, her mind still racing with
thoughts of tonight. She had waited for so long for this day, to have a date
with Clark. She was glad that the tension seemed to be gone. She could hardly
wait to get back at him, but now she could hardly wait to go out with him. She
sighed and slunk back down onto her bed listening to the music.

Clark hadn't slept a wink all night, all he could think about was Lana's
beautiful face, her beautiful figure, her beautiful everything. He tossed and
turned all night butterfly's filling his stomach. With ever turn. He had wanted
this, wanted Lana for as long as he could remember, he had asked her out twice,
but both times had ended with pain and heartache, swearing to get over her. The
first time was a mistake, one that more than ever he wished he could take back,
it wasn't right, it wasn't a way to get over Lana, just a way to want her even
more. The second time he slunk back in his own pride. He never thought she would
talk to him again, and he tried to act like he didn't mind, but it had torn him
up. Then earlier that week she had asked him on a date. "Was it a date?" Clark
said popping up in his bed. Maybe he was fooling himself, she had asked Hyrum to
come before Clark. He sighed and allowed his body to fall back down onto his
bed. In the blink of an eye he felt the force of his son on his chest and was
met with 2 pure blue eyes.

"Dad, what time do we get to go to La.... I mean Miss Lang's house?"

Clark felt the corners of is mouth twitching as excitement seemed to be
transferred from Hyrum’s body to his own. "Not until later tonight."

Hyrum sat up a bit more placing his legs on opposite sides of Clark's body. He
crossed his arms with and a look of disappointment filled his eyes. "Ah, that's
too far away, I want to go now!"

Clark let the smile out and ran his fingers through his sons dark curly hair. "I
know son, but we have chores to do, plus we need to visit Grandpa and Grandma
Kent."

Hyrum loved his grandparents, but he couldn't wait to be with Lana, she was so
warm, and kind and gentle, not to mention beautiful. "I'd rather just skip that
all and go see Lana."

Clark was surprised at how adamant Hyrum was, yet he couldn't blame him. It was
taking all Clark had to concentrate, and not worry about later that night. He
wanted to just drop of Hyrum at his parents house and leave him there so Lana
and he could have a night alone, a more personal night. He shook the thoughts
out of his head, knowing that Lana was just inviting him over to be nice.
"Hyrum, the faster you get ready, the faster we can get things done, the fast we
can go to La....."

As fast as Hyrum had appeared he was gone, then back changed into his work
clothes and standing in Clark's doorway. Clark realized that saying the faster
things were finished the faster things would come, was not true in Hyrum's case.
Clark smiled loving having a son with his same abilities, yet realizing now how
hard it must have been for his parents keeping things hidden, trying to answer
complicated questions.

He super sped and within minutes was changed and ready to go to work.

The day passed slowly for both. Clark finished up his chores, and went to his parents house, yet no matter how may times he tried to distract himself, he couldn’t forget about Lana, and the date they had set that night, although he still wasn’t sure if that’s what he could call it. He talked for his parents, yet they both could see he was distant.

Finally at 5:30, Clark and Hyrum walked back to the barn to get ready. Clark smiled as Hyrum ran back and forth from the house to the barn, each time asking if it was time to go yet.

“Hy, tell you what, you go take a bath, and change your clothes, than ask me if it is time to go.”

Hyrum grinned, and was about to super speed off when he felt his father’s hand on his shoulder.

“And in normal speed.”

Hyrum let out a loud groan, and walked back to the barn. Clark chuckled to himself and walked in behind him. He quickly got cleaned up and looked in his closet. He was about to reach for a flannel shirt, but remembered he wasn’t going to work, but was going to try and impress the girl of his dreams. He picked out a shirt that someone had once told him brought out his eyes. He pulled the shirt on, and tried his best to fix his hair. Yet within a few moments his dark curls had fallen back into his eyes. He sprayed a bit if cologne on, and checked himself in the mirror.

He smiled as he saw his son standing in the door way with his hands on his hips. He was dressed in his nicest shirt, and looked like he had even tried to fix his own hair up. “Wow Hy, you look nice.”

Hyrum grinned, “Dad, I want some of that too!”

Clark turned around, “Some of what?”

“I want to smell good for Lana!”

Clark laughed, “okay, just a little bit.”

Yet as those words left his mouth, his son had the bottle and was spraying himself down. Clark coughed and grabbed the bottle from his hands. “You don’t want to kill her son.”

Hyrum laughed and stood next to his dad and looked in the mirror. “Now is it time?”

“Yes, now it is time.”

The two, walked out the door, and climbed into the truck, and headed over to the Lang residents.
Lana had been ready for the date since 3:00 that afternoon, she had tried to distract herself, but she couldn’t. She had never felt this way before, not even for Jason. He seemed so insignificant to her at this moment. She got some work done that she had left over from her job, and was touching up her makeup when she heard a knock on the door.

The pace of her heart kicked up and her mouth went dry. For as long as she could remember, she had wanted this, wanted to date Clark, wanted Clark. She was distracted from the door as her thoughts drifted to what the night held. She had heard that Clark had liked her in high school, did he have as much passion locked away for her, as she had for him? The corners of her mouth began to twitch as images played through her mind, yet she was shaken back into reality by the knock of the door. She realized that Hyrum would still be here, so nothing really could happen….tonight….but if things went well, who knew. She tried to push the thoughts from her mind and raced to the door. She placed her hand on the knob, took a deep breath and opened the door.

“Hey,” She sighed as she looked Clark up and down. A lump formed in her throat as she saw his dark locks falling into his crystal blue eyes. They showed excitement, which made her heart pick up. She broke from his gaze and looked him up and down. He was in a pair of Kaki pants, with a blue shirt that brought out his eyes even more. She felt like she was burning a whole through his shirt with her eyes as she noticed a few of his defined muscles through his shirt.

Clark was about to say hello back, but the words were not forming. Lana wasn’t dressed up to formal, but her beauty still took his breath away. She was in a pair of tight jeans, and a red top, that fit her curves perfectly. He opened his mouth to say something, but caught sight of her beautiful raven hair draped along her shoulders, as if it was teasing him to touch it, to run his fingers through it. “Hi” He tried to say, but it just came out as a croak. He was surprised when her gaze snapped up to his. Her eyes looked guilty, but he wasn’t sure why. He found himself getting lost in her gaze, her beautiful deep brown orbs were sucking him in.

Lana heard a noise coming from Clark, she pulled her eyes from his chest and tried to keep her thoughts clean as she looked back up at him. At his eyes. He had always looked good, but something about him, made her grab the table next to the door, to hold herself back. She wasn’t sure what was going on, she had never felt like this with Jason, on their first date, she was nervous, but to make a good impression, not to hold herself back from pouncing.

Clark was shaken from his own thoughts of Lana, and how long he had wanted this, had wanted her, to touch her, to feel her, to talk to her, to hear her laughing because he made he laugh. He tried to speak, to look away, but her gaze was hypnotic. He was finally broken from the spell by a small hand tugging on his arm.

“Dad….you always told me it wasn’t polite to stare!” Hyrum whined wanted to continue into the house.

Clark’s cheeks burned a deep shade of red.

Lana tried to hide her giggles, “Why Hello Hyrum, I’m so glad you could come to dinner.” She said holding out her hand.

The small boy timidly took her hand, and gave her a smile.
The strong smell of the cologne hit Lana and she gave Clark a curious look, he just shrugged and followed Hyrum and Lana inside.

“You smell nice Hyrum,” Lana said giving him a small kiss on the cheek.

Hyrum grinned, “Thanks.” He said and grinned even bigger as she pulled back from the kiss. “THANKS!” He said excitedly and placed his small hand against the place her lips had just left.

Clark looked at his son trying to hide his jealousy, he wanted to hold Lana’s hand in his, to feel her lips against his. He smiled at the reaction his son had, and wondered what it felt like.

Lana laughed, and looked up at Clark, than away so not to get sucked into his gaze again. “Now, pizza sound good for dinner?”
Hyrum nodded and took a seat at the table. Clark walked past Lana, “Thanks for doing this Lana, he’s been so excited all day.” He whispered. He walked and took a seat next to his son.

Lana’s heart stopped as she felt the warm breath of Clark’s so close to her ear. It took her a few seconds to gain her composure back. She pulled out a couple of pizza’s from the oven and set them down at the table.

“Wow, it’s even delivery!” Hyrum cried and began to dig in.

Lana looked at Clark and mouthed, “It’s not delivery it’s DiJourno.”

Clark laughed out loud but disguised it as a cough when he received a curious look from his son. Lana looked at the empty seat next to Clark, and longed to sit there, but she didn’t want to seem desperate. She reluctantly sat on the other side of Hyrum and began to eat.

Clark tried to hide his disappointment, and began once again to wonder if this was just out of pity. He grabbed a slice of pizza and took a bite. He looked up and watched as Lana ate, she even did that beautifully, and he found himself starting at her lips as she licked some sauce off. He shook his head slowly and looked at his son who was stuffing his face. He needed to remain cool, and realize that the feelings he was feeling for Lana, were a one way road.

He roughed up his son’s hair, “You think he was starving or something.” He laughed.

Lana smiled, “Glad I could give him a good meal for once.” She teased.

“Give us a good meal for once.” Clark’s heart picked up as he saw her dimples sink in. As he heard her laugh.

Lana looked at Hyrum, and suppressed another laugh as she noticed his cheeks puffed up with food.

The three continued to eat and laugh, the whole meal Lana and Clark trying to shake their feelings for the other.
As Hyrum finished up the last piece, he sank down in his chair content.
Lana laughed, “How was it Hy?” She asked as she stood up to clear the table.

“Ohhhhh…..” He groaned
.
Clark laughed, “Wow, I haven’t ever gotten that reaction from him before.” He said standing up to help Lana. Her back was towards him at the sink. He slipped his arm passed her arm to place his dishes in the sink, and felt the warmth of her own arm on his.

Lana felt something touch her arm and she jumped and turned around to see Clark right behind her. Her nose at his chest, she sniffed in his sent, and wanted to be closer to him. Her heart was telling her to wrap her arms around him, to pull him close, to feel the warmth of his body against hers, it had been so long since she had felt this way. Yet her head told her otherwise. It reminded her not to push her feelings.

“Thanks Clark.” She whispered and turned back to the sink to finish the dishes.

Clark could hardly believe he had Lana so close, he had wanted to hug her, to touch her since he was five, and she was right here. He could smell her shampoo in her hair, and once again it was teasing him to play with it. He was about to reach up to touch it, to wrap his arms around her petite figure, but as he was about to, she thanked him and turned back around. Clark took a few steps back to remember that she was not interested in him. He needed to keep himself under control. He walked back to his son and lifted him up. “Ready to go son?” Clark asked his stuffed son.

Lana’s ears perked up, and her mouth spoke before her head could think. “Wait, I…I…. I thought we could watch a movie while we wait for….for…..for Hy to digest his food and have some icecream.” She said her eyes full of hope as she dried her hands on a dish towel.

“Yeah!!” Hyrum shouted over his Dad’s shoulder.

Clark wanted to stay, but he was sick of only feeling Lana’s pity. “Well….”

Yet Lana ignored his hesitation and took Hyrum from his arms, “Now I have Toy Story, or Bambi.” She said.

“Bambi is a wimpy dear, I like Cowboys and Space Toys!”

“Me too.” Lana said and carried him into the other room leaving a confused Clark in the kitchen.

Clark sighed and walked in to sit on the couch. He noticed a chair, and a love seat. He began to make his way to the chair, when Hyrum bounced into it ahead of him. He gave his dad a cheesy grin and turned his attention back to the TV.

Clark sighed yet again and took a seat on the far edge of the love seat, to be as far away from Lana as possible.

Lana turned on the TV and looked at Hyrum’s face. He was so happy, she could see his eyes dancing with joy and excitement. She looked at Clark and her face fell a bit as she noticed his discomfort. She took a seat on the opposite side, and clanged to the arm of the chair.

As the movie went on, the laughs from the young boy slowly stopped, and Lana looked over and smiled to see him fast asleep. She leaned her head back on the couch, and allowed her own drowsiness to sink in. She slowly closed her eyes and faded away.

Clark was busy watching Woody and Buzz duke it out in the parking lot of a gas station when he felt a force on his shoulder. He jumped and looked over to see Lana’s head on his shoulder. He looked at her face in the light of the TV, and noticed it perfectly peaceful and content. She was in a deep slumber. He felt so awkward, yet so wonderful. He had wanted something like this to happen, but because she wanted to, not because she was asleep. He sat stiff, trying to figure out what to do. He looked at her once more, and saw how peaceful and beautiful she looked. He couldn’t wake her up. Slowly he lifted his shoulder up and placed it on top of the couch.

Clark took a deep breath, and tried to turn his attention back to the movie, yet failed when he felt Lana’s head sink from his arm, to his chest. He looked around the room wondering what was going on. He almost let out a yelp as he felt her delicate hand come to the other side of his chest. He looked back down at her, and saw her beauty even more. She had a small piece of hair in her face. Clark gently pulled it back behind her ear. He had wanted to touch her hair for so long, but he knew he needed to be a gentleman.

He returned his arm to the top of the couch, and nearly groaned as he felt Lana nuzzle her head a bit more into his chest to get comfortable. He reminded himself many times that they were just friends, ands he shouldn’t take advantage of her. Finally returning his attention to the movie, he felt his own eyes getting a bit heavy, and before he knew it, he too had fallen into a deep sleep.

No way!!! That was such a tease! But the fact that real Clana gets closer and closer is great.

Now, if we can just avoid these lengthy delays between updates, everything would be just fine.

Here is the update ENJOY, and give me feedback to encourage me to continue. Sorry it had been so long, school was kicking my tooshie, but I have had a bit of a break for now.

Lana slowly began to stir. She reached for a blanket as shivers ran down her body. She felt the couch cushions warmth next to her and cuddled up closer to it. She nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt something softly come across her back and pull her snuggly against the firm cushions.

She slowly opened her eyes and found that all she could see was blue. She smiled and gently closed her eyes. Yet as quick as she had closed them they shot open. ‘My couch is red.’ She started to panic and burst from the couch looking around the room.

The TV was showing the ants in a snow storm screen with a soft buzz. Small little Hyrum Kent was cuddled up in the chair sound asleep. She glanced at Clark, and couldn’t help but smile. He looked so happy, so carefree and relaxed. For as long as she could remember, Clark had always seemed to have the weight of the world on his shoulders. Yet now, he was sleeping on the couch, so peaceful, he had a small smile on his lips.

As Lana continued to study Clark, she noticed his arms draped out in front of him. Her smile slowly turned to realization as she noticed the color of Clark’s shirt. A blue shirt, and through it she could see his firm chest. ‘No wonder I slept so well,’ Lana smirked to herself.

Clark felt himself beginning to wake up, and stretched his arms above his head. He opened his eyes and saw Lana. He had been waking up to these day dreams of Lana with him ever since she had come back to town. He smiled and was about to play out a fantasy when she spoke.

“Hey sleepy head, I guess we’ll never know what happened with Buzz and Woody after their fight at the gas station.”

Clark couldn’t believe that she was talking, until he realized it wasn’t a dream. He cleared his throat, and racked his brain. “uh……. Oh well, they become friends after Woody saves Buzz’s life.

“I knew cowboys were better than space toys, those farm boys seem to always get the job done right.”

Clark felt himself blushing, but couldn’t help but think about he was a farm boy and a space man in one. ‘I’d be the best toy of all.’

“Thanks Lana, for letting me tag along with Hy.”

Lana laughed, “Well I figured this way I would be saved from a law suit of dating someone under 18.”

“Glad to be of service, I know he is quite the ladies man, he could teach me a few things.” Clark responded as he walked over to Hyrum and carefully picked him up.


Lana couldn’t help but feel admiration toward Clark. He was such a wonderful father. She watched as Clark made sure not to wake Hyrum up, and started to walk to the door.

“Wait!” she exclaimed a little too excited.

Clark turned around and felt a little hope in rise to his eyes as he heard her plea.

Lana walked toward them and gently stroke Hyrum’s hair. “He seems to be sound asleep, you could put him up in my room, and we could catch up on things……talking I mean.” She clarified her voice quivering.

Clark smiled his heart sailing, not only at her offer, but her embarrassment seemed to show something she was feeling for him, something that he was feeling for her. How much he wanted to kiss her gently lips.

“Sounds great, I’ll be right back.”

Lana watched as Clark walked up stairs. When she saw his feet disappear she flew to the bathroom and did a quick check. She smoothed out her hair, checked for eye boogies, put lotion on her arms, and tossed in a few strong mints. She felt her face heat up as her mind wandered, things could happen now that Hyrum was away, the parents good play. Lana wasn’t one to be forward, but with Clark, she would do anything to get her hands on him. She needed to cool down, and fast. She took a few deep breaths, then walked into the kitchen and began making some lemonade.

Clark gently lowered Hyrum down on Lana’s bed. He was on cloud nine. He was tempted to look around the room with his x-ray vision, but knew that wasn’t a very good thing to do….yet. He bent down to give Hyrum a kiss. “Night Hy, thanks for being my buddy!” Clark whispered and gently kissed his forehead. Although while he was down he caught a whiff of Lana’s scent from her pillows. He almost slipped into a coma it smelled so wonderful. It was the same smell that he always loved. He had longed for it since she left for Paris. Now he wasn’t sure staying here alone with Lana, was a very good idea, or maybe it was a great idea. He nearly skipped to the door, when he paused as a wicked grin played across his face.

Clark turned and stared deeply into the top drawer of Lana’s dresser. Suddenly a sound came from downstairs and Clark’s gaze snapped up. He was about to leave, when his eyes caught sight of a picture. He slowly walked toward a frame on top of Lana’s dresser. It was Lana, with some stranger draped over her. A small not was scribbled in the corner.

Clark wanted to smash the picture. What was Lana trying to pull? He dropped the frame on the floor and walked back to Hryum.

Lana heard noise from above and wandered what was taking Clark so long. She heard sounds coming from the stairs, and looked around the kitchen to find a place to stand that would entice Clark, but not make her seem like some slut. Yet she wasn’t fast enough. She heard footsteps behind her and turned around with a smile.

“Hey Cl…”

She stopped as she noticed his jacket on and Hyrum in his arms.

“Clark what a…..”

He cut her off. “tonight is not going to work.” He said coolly. “Thanks for having Hyrum over.”

Lana stood there confused and speechless.

“Bye Lana.” He stated and was out the door before Lana could find her voice. She finally gained her composure and raced to the door, but it was too late. She saw Clark’s taillights speeding down the driveway, and disappear down the road. Lana felt her emotions threatening as she gazed into the night. Clark Kent, the man she worried she would never understand, yet the man she couldn’t get out of her mind.

I started reading this fic last year, and I've really enjoyed it. I'm soooo glad you're continuing this story. Keep up the good work!

Clark is such a dunce! He violated Lana's privacy and then had the nerve to get all wound up over a picture he found hidden away. It wasn't on display, you BDA! Obviously it doesn't mean much to her. Now if it had been posted on her bedside table, that would be something different.

In any case, even if she did have something for Jason, it's your job to take her away from him, Clark.

Jeez, you have to explain everything to BDAs these days.

OH Man, thanks guys! I was worried everyone would have forgotten about me and my stories. I will am plannin on finishing this fic up, then getting back to Love is a Many Splendor Things. Sorry I didn't post last night, I was about to type up the next chapter, when I was invited by a nice gentleman to go country dancing, but I only have 2 classes today so I will post this afternoon! Lana didn’t even stop to put her lemonade back in the fridge. She slumped up the stairs and collapsed onto her bed. She took out her phone and dialed Chloe’s number. It was as if they were in high school again. Her mind flashed back as she listened to the dull sound of the phone ringing.

Lana was on her bed, she finally dialed Chloe’s number like she always did when she needed to talk.

“Hey Lana!”

“Chlo, hey, how was your day?”

“Good try, but we are not talking about me, I know you better than that. Your tone of voice says something is up. So what’s up?”

“Clark asked me to the prom….”

“What?!?”

“I know, he was so nice about it, but I just couldn’t do it.”

“Lana, tell me again you don’t have feelings for him,”

“I don’t have feelings for him, if I did don’t you think I would have said yes?”

“Lana, I am working to be an investigative reporter, I learn to read between the lines, you are madly in love with him.”

Lana rolled her eyes, “Whatever you want to think Chlo, but I know me better than you, and I don’t have feelings for Clark Kent.”

Chloe didn’t want to argue “So what did he say when you said no.”

“He was fine, just walked away. Nothing big.”

“Lana why couldn’t you have just…”

Lana was shaken from the memory as she heard a deep voice answer the phone.

“Hello?”

“Hey Pete, its Lana. How are you?”

“Hey Lana, wow it has been a while huh? I am doing great, we are just watching Cars with the boys, but if you need me to humble you at Settlers of Cattan, that could be arranged.”

Lana smiled, “You are still the same old Pete, when will you learn that I am unbeatable. I was actually hoping to talk to Chloe.”

Pete chuckled, “Whatever helps you sleep at night Lana. Chloe is already by the phone, she has been waiting for your phone call since this afternoon. Here she…..”

Lana heard the phone being fumbled around, and footsteps running. She rolled onto her side and stared out her window, the stars were the same all over the world, but something about Smallville brought them out even more beautifully.

“Hey Lana, I am so glad you called. I am away from the boys, so spill the beans, I want to know everything, although I am a bit surprised to hear from you so early, I figured it would be much later.”

“Chlo, I don’t know what you are talking about. All that happened tonight was, I invited Hyrum over for dinner, and Clark came too. We ate dinner, and then fell asleep to a movie. Then he and Hyrum left. That is all.”

Lana didn’t feel the need to explain how they fell asleep, how they looked at each other, how much she wanted Clark, or how fast he stormed out of her house and ruined her hopes for the night.

Chloe knew something was up, she had always been able to tell when it came to Lana, yet she never pushed, eventually Lana would always open up, at least she used too. Since Paris she had seemed to be keeping a lot more things inside then the old Lana.

“Well then why did you call Lana?”

Lana wasn’t sure herself why she had called. “Chlo, what is the matter with Clark? One minute he is this sweet confident happy guy, yet the next minute he is angry and hurt and sad. Is he bipolar or something?”

Chloe wasn’t expecting to hear this. Clark had been in love with for as long as she could remember. She figured that even through out the incident she was the one he thought about. He had always seemed down to earth for the most part.

“Chlo, what is this big secret that everyone keeps saying happened to Clark, that he had a hard time that he has never been the same since…. Please, I need to know.”

Chloe could hear the urgency in Lana’s voice. She wanted to tell her, but it wasn’t her place.

“Lana, it isn’t my place to say, if you want to know, you need to hear it from Clark himself. Now back to your reason for calling. I need more information Lana, if you want my help. Help me to help you…help me to help you!”

Lana laughed, “Well…. After the movie, Hyrum was sound asleep.” She closed her eyes as she remembered the excitement she had felt as Clark went up to lay him down. Clark had been in her room, she had heard him. Then in an instant he was gone. She rolled over onto her other side, swallowed hard and continued on with the story.

“Well Clark decided to just lay Hyrum down so we could talk, catch each other up on how the other one was doing. I was down in the kitchen and Clark was in my room….in my room.” Lana opened her eyes and noticed something on the ground in front of her dresser.

She stood up and walked closer. She picked up the frame curious and turned it over, and nearly dropped it herself.

“Chloe, I am going to have to call you back!”

Lana hung up the phone before she heard Chloe’s response. She just stared at the picture, it had been taken in Paris, before everything had gone wrong. She noticed the writing in the corner, yet it did nothing for her, if anything it made her mad. She had left for a reason. Lana let out a sigh and tried to figure out how the picture even got into her room. She looked on top of her dresser and saw a note from Nell

This came in the mail for you. You have a lot of explaining to do, just thought I would set it up for you. We will talk tomorrow about this mysterious man.

Lana could have screamed. Jason was so dumb sometimes. She dropped the picture in the trash. As it hit the hard bottom it made a thud, and a light came on in Lana’s head.

“Clark was in my room, Clark could have seen the picture, that’s how the picture got on the ground, and that was why Clark stormed out.”

Lana grabbed her coat and flew down the stairs. “I have to go explain things to Clark.” She thought as she climbed into her car, and sped out of the driveway.
