I had a really hard time thinking of a name. I hope you guys like mu new story!

Clark had spare time, so he roamed the streets of Smallville. He wouldn't bother stop at the Talon, it seemed as if he now needed a reason to pay a visit to his love. It was a lonely day...his parents out, friends busy...he was alone. One day he would lose his feelings for her...he hoped. He was deep in thought as he walked home that afternoon.

When he got home, he decided to read a book. He sat down and opened it, as his eyes skimmed the pages...he saw a note on his desk. He put down the book and grabbed the mysterious letter. It was from Lana.

Dear Clark,

I know that things haven't been the same between us lately, but I feel that you need to know the truth. I'm going to leave Smallville for good. Nell said that I could stay in Smallville only until I graduate, remember? Clark I care about you so much. I have to say that I don't have feelings for you like you do me. I see you as a realyl good friend. I'll miss you so much and I will never forget you. Please, don't spend your time thinking of what could have been..what we could have been. Remember what you told me that Sometimes letting go is the only way to move forward? Well, knowing that helped me a lot. I know it will help you. You'll do great things..I know it.

Clark didn't know how to react. He was sad and confused at the same time. Things were just beginning to return to normal, after all they'd been through..she couldn't just leave. He paced back and forth. What was he going to do? Did she already leave?

He ran to the Talon, this time he had a reason. He slowed down as he reached the door. There she was...an angel...standing behind the counter. Clark was so happy he couldn't hide the grin on his face. Lana looked startled.

"Clark? Uhh...hi." She said in a weary voice. She couldn't hide the curiosity in her voice.

"Lana....", He lifted her off her feet in an embrace,.."Thank god you're still here! I thought you already left." His smile faded. She was still leaving.

"No, I'm leaving tomarrow....Clark I wish I could stay,but I can't. You can't convince me. I have to leave."
You could see the lonliness in her eyes, they darted back and forth, avoiding Clark's face.

"I'll miss you Lana...." His face was like stone and his eyes reflected his sincerity as they always did. He slowly reached for her hand and held it tight. Then, she let hers slip away. This was awkward.

"I'll miss you too, Clark. God...I hate good- byes..."
A tear glistened in the Talon's lights. Then, one after another they came down like the rain outside. She tried to hide it with her hands, but it was too late. Clark had already saw. He was quick to react as he held her close and tight. He rested his chin on the top of her head as her tears wet his t shirt.

"Oh, Lana...don't cry....I'll always be here for you, no matter where you are. I'll find you. Don't cry." Soon tears stung his eyes also, as he tried to soothe her by rubbing her back.

"I don't want to leave you Clark. You've always been there for me. Who'll save me when I'm in Metropolis?"

"When you call, I'll be there. Don't worry."
He whiped a tear from his face.

"Oh, Clark...you're crying...."
She whiped another from his face.

"Lana, I was wondering...would you like to have dinner with me tonight?" He asked coyly.

"Ofcourse, I'd love to. Is 8:00 alright?"

"Perfect." He replied softly.

"I'll see you later then...." She let her hand slip from his grasp.

Clark smiled and walked out of the Tlaon.

'Tonight has to be perfect....' He thought to himself.

(Clark went to school the next day)

Clark walked through the front doors of the school. Never had he felt so content and happy...when not on Red K. As he walked by, he pondered what he was going to do that night. If he could, he would bring the moon and stars to her. It was out of the question! What could he do? Pete finally jumped in front of him, nearly knocking him off his feet.

"Whoa, what's up?" Clark asked with a smile on his face.

Pete punched him on the shoulder.
"So, now that she's leaving...you decide to make a move.... Good luck. You're all Lana's been talking about all morning."

Clark smiled and walked to his locker. He put his things inside and felt someone was watching him. He quickly turned around. He felt a rush of excitement and gave her his best smile.

"Hey, Lana."

"So, I bet you've been pretty excited about our date tonight..."

"Yea, accually. One thing for sure...there's going to be a surprise for you."

"Oh, really...what might that be?" She asked coyly.

"I'm...not telling..you." He chuckled.

"Well, I quess I can wait a few hours...."

"I'll see you later."

Lana waved and walked away as if floating on air. Clark, ofcourse did the same, though he was once again late for class. At this point, it didn't matter at all.

(that night, Lana and CHloe sat down to talk)

Lana:"Chloe, I'm going to miss you soo much. You and your dad have been terrific. I'm glad I stayed here with you guys. I wouldn't have rather been anywhere else."
They both hugged.

"So, I heard you have plans with Clark tonight..."
Chloe put on her fake smile, then turned away for a moment to hide her disappointment.

"Yea, he asked me out on a date. I'm just as surprised as you are."
Lana's smile slowly faded. Was she acting too happy?

"Chloe, are you okay with this? Cause..if you aren't...."

"No, you guys have a good time. You shouldn't think about me."

She'd said that so many times that it was easier to lie to her ebst friend. Clark was the last thing that continued to force a wall between them. It was the only thing that kept them from being completely honest with eachother. If CHloe could forget about her feelings for Clark she would..but it wasn't that simple.

"If that's how you really feel....hey, do you think you could help me pick out something to wear tonight?"
Lana was still unsure, she didn't want to sound excited.

"Sure."
This time CHloe meant what she said. She did want to help Lana. She also had dark thoughts in the back of her mind that she couldn't force away.....'If Lana's leaving....Clark's mine!'
She hated herself for thinking that, but it was human nature. Something you just can't force away.....

Lana walked over to her closet with Chloe.

Lana picked out a blue baggy shirt.

"How about this?"

"Nah, you Cna't wear that! You're going ona date with CLARK! How many times do I have to tell you? You should wear something...hot. That's what Clark would want! This will be a night he will remember forever."

Lana nodded.

"How about this?"

"No, more like this!" Chleo held up a black lace tank top and a denim short skirt. Chloe moved her eyebrows up and down.

Lana just stared.
"I would never wear that! It's not me!"

"Not the you that was effected by the Nicodemus flower. Clark saw you in something like this and couldn't stop staring..and drooling! He'll love it!"

What Chloe really wanted her to wear was something baggy, something that would cover up her perfect figure. ;'Okay, snap out of it Chloe!'

"Chloe...what happened that day? Clark never told me."

Chloe paused...
"Well, you were very assertive! That's for sure."

"What did I do?"

"Well, you stripped down in front of Clark and...well jumped in the school swimming pool..and sort of made out with Clark."

Lana paused.
"I wish I could remember..."

"Go tru this on."

Lana walked into the bathroom and got changed.

It's so hard to even get logged on!!!

Lana stepped out of the bathroom and strutted her stuff confidently as she walked out to Chloe. Chloe's eyes nearly fell out of her head. She brought up her jaw from the floor.

"Lana! You look...amasing! Clark's gonna freak!!!"
Did she just say that?! She didn't mean it, did it sound fake? The truth was she wanted to tear the outfit to shreds. Better yet, burn it!

Lana came back to her coy, qiet side.

"You really think so?"

"Yea, espiecally if you act like that! Are you kidding?"

Lana shrugged as if she were unsure. Chloe wondered how she could look so good and not even take advantage of it.

Chloe suddenly got that feeling in the pit of her stomache again. Go to a new subject.

"Well, I hope you have fun tonight.REally. I want you to have the best night of your life. You deserve it."

This smile wasn't fake, because she meant every word she said.

She wanted the best for Lana. She was a great person. She just hoped Lana wouldn't take Clark even further away from her than he already was. She was simply confused. Lana or Clark? The part of her that answered,Clark, took over her.

"Okay Lana, I think you're going to be late if you don't leave now."
Before Lana could thank Chloe, she was being shoved out the door. Why the rush?

"Chloe, ARE you okay? You seem...tense." She put a hand on her shoulder tenderly.

"I'm fine." Fake smile. "Really, you two should have fun. Don't you let me hold you back. Bye."

She slammed the door shut just in time. She was already wet with tears. She couldn't let lana see. That's what she thought then. Then, her mind switched back to Clark. "Boy, I hope he doesn't finnally decide to make a move, not now. She knew Lana still loved him dearly. That made flames of hate burn her from the inside out. She threw the nearest object at the dining room wall.

Soon, Lana drove into the Kent farm driveway. She was so nervous. She hated goodbyes, but she couldn't leave without telling him the truth and hopfully finally hearing it from him. she couldn't leave with so many questions brewing within her. As she got out of the car, she tugged at her skirt and hair and walked up the steps as if floating on air. There he was in the dim candlelight that lit the room, he looked...angelic....she thought. It was just the way the light hit his beautiful skin and dark, wavy, thick hair. How she wanted to run her fingers through it.....she watched him for a moment more before stepping in his loft.

Clark turned around quickly as if waking from a day dream. He shook his head and blinked a few times. He was beautiful tonight more than ever. Clark thought the same about Lana.

"Wow, you look beautiful. I never see you wear that!"
His eyes moved up then down her figure.

"Acually, Chloe picked it out. She thought you would like it. I wanted to wear something speical, just for you."

Clark blushed. He was sooo...cute when he blushed.
"Chloe did that for me?!" He chuckled modestly.

"Yea, you're looking mighty fine yourself. Almost....sexier than usual!"

Clark blushed again.

"Is someone flirting?! Well, to tell you the truth, I didn't even try."
Youn look like you're wearing something like what you were wearing when you were on the Nicodemus flower." He looked away, remembering what happened.

"Oh yea, CHloe told me what happened that day. Did I really...make out with you?"






Clark finally met her gase.
"Yea, it was uhhh..."

"What?"

"Should I use the word WOW?"

"Oh really, I was that good?" She stepped close enough to feel his breath.

"Yea." He whispered softly in her ear.

Lana was about to re-create the moment...when Clark backed away.

"Maybe later....." He laughed. "You've only been here 5 minutes."

"Soo....." Lana's finger traced the back of his neck.
"I'm just kidding. I didn't know you had so much patience!"

The truth was...it was just as hard for him.

"Why don't we sit down?" He guided her to the candle'lit table in the back.

Lana smiled and her eyes seemed to sparkle as the candlelight illuminated her face. She walked over to the table and sat down. It wasn't the fanciest table she'd sat at, but she could see his effort clearly and immedieatly. His attempt was sweet and generous she thought. It was a very small table with a white cloth draped over it. There were flowers in a vase in the center next to a red candle. clark sat down and looked at Lana sheepishly.

"I hope you like what I've done to the place....."
He looked around the room as she did.
There were white curtains and rose petals and candles laid everywhere. Beautiful....Lana thought.

"It's beautiful Clark, unique. I love it.

Clark outstretched his arm so his hand was on her side of the table.

"Just for you....." He said in a soft whisper.
He held her hand gently.

Lana winked and a smile spread across her face.

"So, what have you cooked for me?" She asked in a matter-of-factly-tone.

"It's coming now."

Clark said as his dear friend walked into the loft holding plates of pasta. Lana couldn't stay in her seat before Pete reached the table. Lana hugged him when he put the plates down.

"Pete! God, I missed you! You came to see me?"
Lana was practically screaming.

"Yea, I wanted to see you before you move! I've missed you guys so much! So, you finally asked her out, huh Clark?" Pete elbowed him.

"Yea, I couldn't just let her leave." He hugged her.

"And I'm glad he did....." Lana said.

"Me too. I'll be downstairs with your parents Clark. You guys need some alone time. See you later Lana."

"Bye, Pete." Lana waved.

Pete left.

"Clark, was that my surprise?" Lana still sounded excited.

"One of them...."

"Yey! There's another?"

"Yep! Right after dinner."

After dinner, they both sat down on the couch. Lana was figeting uncontrolably of excitement as Clark reached for the gift in his pocket.

"Wait!" Lana said. "Me first!"

Lana reached for something in her coat pocket. She handed him a photograph in white frame. Clark looked over it and loved what he saw.

Lana spoke. "It's a picture of us at the prom. I thought you would like it. It's something to remind you of me. Something for you to pass by on your nightstand as you enter and leave your room. So, you won't forget me, or prom."

"Lana, I will....never....forget you. Never. Thank you so much Lana. It means a lot. I'll keep it close to my heart, not just on my night stand." He said in a hoarse voice. A voice that sounded true.

"Thank Clark." They hug and Lana shivers as she feels his breath on her shoulder and the smell of the colongue he was wearing.

"Okay, now it's my turn. There's more than one. Close your eyes and don't peek."

"Okay."

"Prromise?"

"Yes."

As Lana closed her eyes..he inched closer to her as he smelled the scent of her perfume get stronger. He put a hand on her shoulder and kissed her lips softly. It was quick, but sweet and genuine. As Lana opened her eyes, he was still only inches in front of her. She was awake. It wasn't a dream.

"Thanx Clark." She whispered.

It was all Lana could mutter. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy it, she was just...shocked. Clark smiled.

"You're welcome." He whispered just as softly.
Then, the moment felt awkward, so he went right back to his other gift.
"I still have something else for you, Lana."

"Oh, really, thanks." Though she couldn't ask for anything more.

"But, before I give it to you and you leave. There's something you should know."

"I'm listening..." She woundered if it was too obvious how anxious she was.

"Well, Lana....I know in the letter you sent me, you said that.....you didn't love me.....but I still love you. As strange as it may seem, I just can;'t forget everything you've ever said to me. Everything you've done..... You're the most beautiful person I know. The thing is, all I do is hurt you."

He continued.
"And I don't thnk I'm good enough. You deserve better. As much as it hurts for me to say this, I....I want you.....to find the right guy for you.....in metropolis."

He looked away. He wasn't lying. It pierced his heart, but she would be happy. That's what he wanted for her.

Lana's bottom lip quivered.
"Clark....I've always known how you felt about me. But you, haven't known the whole truth you deserve. I'm sorry. I should have been more honest with you. I don't want...another....guy! I don't..... You're the only one I've been dreaming of....for years Clark, years.... You're....the only one I ever want to be with!"

She was screaming and crying at the same time. there was silence for a few moments.

Clark looked at Lana. She could see the pain and compassion in his eyes. She wanted to hold him forever. Clark put a hand on her shoulder and held her hand tightly.

His voice was so weak and hoarse, she could barely understand.

"Lana....it's okay. I forgive you."
He hugged her tightly. Then, her tears stopped and her cries muffled. She slowly lifted her head and squeezed his hand.

"I love you, Clark...." Then, she placed a hand on the side of his soft face. And , she brought his lips to hers. He was limp and weak. As Lana kissed him, her tears wet his face. Then, Clark got into it. He lunged closer and kissed her hard. Lana sat upon his lap and touched his silky hair. Then, they broke appart, each trembling. They kissed softly, one last time and broke apart again.

"I'll miss you Lana. But I'll come see you everyday, if I have to...."

She smiled and opened it. She opened her mouth wide.

"Oh my god! I thought...this was gone she said. Thank you so much!" She hugged him.

"Here...I'll put it on you." Then, he took Lana's metetor rock necklace with now a clear rock....and put it on her.

Here it is!!!

As Clark backed away from Lana to admire how beautiful it looked, Lana lifted her head and as she did, there was a certain shimmer in her eyes. As quickly as it appeared, it was gone.

Lana felt a surge of energy. She felt....powerful. She was in charge. Her overwelming feelings for Clark remained, but they grew stronger every minute that passed before them.

Clark lowered to Lana's height so that he was looking straight into her eyes. He had saw the look in her eyes and when he lowered his head, it was gone. He grew more and more curious.

"Lana....are you okay?" He said in a soft, sweet voice.

Lana tilted her head to one side and in her most sensual voice, she said, "Better than ever. Why do you ask."

There was a look of shock that swept across his face. Should he be surprised or concerned.The truth was, he was feeling both.
'What the....? Okay, I can get used to that.' He thought to himself.

"I just....uhh...was wondering...."
'God, I should have came up with a better answer than that!'

Lana giggled innocently. "That's what I love about you Clark Kent, you always have your head in the clouds." She said stroking the side of his face, "follow me...." She said as she backed away and walked quickly to the door of his house....stopping ever so often to see if he was still following.
'It's true.' She thought to herself. 'What wouldn't he do for me?'

When she got to the door, she stopped and waited for him to catch up. 'Where is she going?' Clark thought.

Lana slowly opened the door and turned around one more time to have a look at his response. What she saw was a tall, dark and handsome figure standing before her with his arms gracefully crossed over his chest. In his eyes she was worry and his face was like stone. She didn't want to worry him, but she couldn't resist going on. She tip-toed to the stairs through the kitchen and waited. Clark caught up and grabbed her hand before she could go any farther.

"What is it" Lana asked.

"Wait a second."
Clark listened to his mom, dad and his best friend laughing at his dad's pathedic attempts at jokes.

"I can't believe those two have been in his loft for two hours!" Martha exclaimed.

"Yea....." Johnathon said in a stern voice.

Marhta sighed and rolled her eyes.

Lana heard and continued up the steps.

"Hurry up, before Pete doesn't find us." Lana whispered.

Then, Clark watched as lana ran to his bedroom door. She stopped otuside then smiled not-so-innocently. She stepped inside and sat down on his bed.

'It doesn't get anymore awkward than this.' Clark thought.

"So...Lana, what are we doing up here?"

Lana smiled. "Don't get any ideas Clarkie, boy..." Lana said with a laugh.

"No..no I wasn't....." Clark stuttered.

"Sure...." lana answered as she sat up and walked ovet to his drawers. She held up a plaid red shirt and laughed.

"Don't you have anything other than plaid?"

Clark shrugged and watched helplessly as she walked to his dresser.

'Please don't open the first drawer!' he thought.

"Let's see what's in here...." she opened the drawer. Then, she picked up their school yearbook from 9th grade. She looked inside for his picyure. Then, she found it.

"Aww...you were sooo cute!"

Clark blushed and looked away.

Then, she found her picture.

"aww..Clark..."
When she looked at it, she saw a sweet, young girl . There was a heart in pink pen, drawn to otuline her picture. That was sweet.

"I think someone had a crush on Miss Lana Lang." She looked at Clark.

"Uhh..yea."

"Don;'t be embarassed. I think it's sweet."

A smile appeared on Clark's face.

Clark sat down on his bed. Then, he saw Lana slowly walk over to him. She licked her lips and put her hands on his knees, lookins straight into his eyes.

"Getting any ideas, Clark?"

Clark's whole body went completely numb. He opened his mouth to speak,but all that escaped his lips was a short breath. He closed his eyes and then opened them again. Nope, he was still awake.

Lana didn't waste any more time in suducing Clark.

"Well.....Clark...." She whispered in his ear and then softly bit the top of it. She then stood there, awaiting his answer.

"Lana.....what.....you're acting kind of strange. You're under a lot of stress right now, I know, but this won't help." He said as he backed away. "We can talk."

"Trust me Clark..." Lana said as she slid closer and put a hand on his chest. "This will make me...and you....feel much......better."

Clark's eyes opened wide.
'What if my parents find us? They'll freak!' These and many more thoughts raced through his mind. It was overwhelming.

Lana kissed his neck, causing Clark's heart to race. Then she whispered to him only half an inch of his lips.
"I know you're unsure, but.... for once in your life Clark you have me....right where you want me. With you.... Can't you just..... take advantage." She cooed . "Don't try to hide your emotions from me any more." It was the last words that Lana whispered that really got to him. "Don't hold back."

'Why shouldn't I just give in?' Clark thought. 'For once...I should do what I want to do. Have what I want....lana.'

Lana saw Clark's eyes light up and knew she'd gotten through to him. She smiled and before she could do anything, Clark was two steps ahead of her.

He softly kissed her neck and jaw,as he held her in his arms. He stroked her hair tenderly. Lana didn't want to waste any more time. She tumbled on top of him. Now stratling him, Clark wraped his hands around her neck and brought her face to face with him. As Clark gently kissed ever inch of skin that shown. Lana was busy unbottoning his shirt. She ran her hands over his chest and kissed it. Clark took off Lana's shirt and rolled so that he lie on top, and kissed her soft lips. For once Clark felt free. No inhibitions to confront. Lana started to unbotton his jeans and Clark hesitated.

'Am I ready for this?' What the hell!' He slipped them off. Clark kissed her neck and made his way up to her face and then her lips.

"Well, what are you waiting for Clark?" Lana asked.

"I....I..umm...."

Just as Clark was about to answer, there was a knock on the door.

Clark panicked.

"Lana...go..go hide in my closet." He whispered.

"Why, our feeling's for eachother shouldn't be a secret. They'll leave us alone."

"Lana....go."

"Oh alright!" She ran and hid in the closet.

"Come in!" Clark said trying to sound calm.

Then, Pete walked through the door.

"Hey man, where's Lana?"

"What are you talking about?" Clark lied.

"Don't think I didn't hear you two hitting it off in here!"

"shhhh..." Clark said covering his mouth. "My parents will hear!"

"Trust me...they already know...." Pete said with a laugh.
"Your dad was going to march up here, but I said I would go."

"Oh my god! My parnets....they'll kill me."

"Yea." Pete replied. "So, where's your lucky lady?"

"Right here." She approached. "I am very lucky...." Lana cooed, stroking Clark's hair then bringing him down into a passionate kiss. Then, she slapped him on the behind.

"Wow! Wait until I'm out of the room!" Pete elbowed Clark.
"Good luck man! I'm going home now."

"Bye pete."

"Bye."

You guys are THE best! Thanx....I didn't know if you guys would like it. I've been proven wrong! I don't have much time to write more sooo....I will sometime this weekend!!! There's gonna be a twist! And you guys will love it! By the way...I just thought I would tell you something funny..... I was writing on Kryptonsite about a few weeks ago...and my mom came by the computer. Instantly, I minimised the screen.( How would you react if your mom saw what you were writing. LOL)

Then, my mom asked if she could read it!!! I panicked.

"Mom! No! That's just wrong!"

"Let me see it!" My momsaid...now even more determined...

She read it..as my face grew crimson and I was sweating....






There was a long silence after wards and she stared through me.

(gulp) "I knew you would think I was wierd!" I screamed in embarrassment.

Clark stood in pure disbelief and anger. How could he let this happen? He seemed to be lost in his thoughts. He stood helplessly as his thoughts flew through his mind. Why? Why did you give in to her? You should have waited until you were alone! Idiot! Your parents are sooo mad! Well, you enjoyed it didn't you? Yes, ofcourse I did! He still stood still, as if frozen in time.


Lana felt bad for him. Somewhere deep, deep down she still had the best of her. She still had very small a concious. Lana did feel sort of bad..... Part of her wanted to apologise, but as she stepped closer the other side of her and the emotions that came with it forced her to overcome her guilt.

This half still longed for more.....she needed more! The soft side of her was ong gone now.

As she stepped closer, she couldn't help but admire from afar. He wouldn't even notice. Her eyes ran over his figure. She could get used to him like this. She could stare all night. Do whatever she wanted to.....

She sauntered over in front of him. Then, she looked into his eyes.
"They look like reflecting pools which from I can look into his heart." She thought. "You're so beautiful....."
She gently caressed the side of his cheek.
"Don't feel bad. You know we had fun...." She laughed.

"Wakie,wakie!"
She waved a hand in front of his eyes.
"Clark? Earth to Clark!"
She impatiently snapped her fingers and blew a strand of hair from her face.

"Clark!" She shouted, snapping her fingers in front of his face.

He woke up.

"What?!" He shouted, grabbing her hand.

Lana smiled and squeezed his hand in hers.

"I see you came back to me and planet Earth...."

"I was just thinking....."

"About what......?"

She brought one finger to his lips.

He shivered, then backed away.

"My parents are so mad. I know it."

"Don't worry, sweetie. I'll make it all better....."

She kissed the corner of his strong jaw and then his neck.

Clark closed his eyes and Lana smiled as she heard him sigh.

'Don't give in Clark. Don't give.....'

Lana still kissed him.

'Oh god. How can she do this to me? God, why does it have to feel so good?'

"Lana...." He whispered.
"WE CAN'T do this...."


"Why not?" Lana pouted.
"Please...."

"NO!"

"Well then....."
She grabbed his hand and tried to drag him to the door.
'let's go somewhere else."

Clark stood his ground. He wasn't going anywhere.

Lana got frustrated.
"Clark, why are you doing this?" She shouted.

"Lana, our actions have consequences!"

Then, he whispered, "You have to understand that....."

"I don't understand! I'm standing in front of you, take me!"

"Now now." Clark replied coldly.

"Now ever...." Lana replied just as cold. Though she didn't intend on keeping that promise.....

"I know just how to change your mind, Clark...."

Lana smiled then walked to her bag and searched inside. Then, she handed him something.

"What is it?"

"Why don't you have a look?" Lana whispered mischieviously.

When Clark looked, what he saw shocked him....
A stone bracelet. It was made of chain and small red stones.
Ones that could set him free.

He thought, 'Why is she doing this to me?'

Clark felt even more worried.
"Trust me. You wouldn't like Kal..... he's nothing like the Clark Kent you know..." Clark said.

"Ofcourse he is! He's the side of you that you never show....the one that doesn't care what other people think. He sounds nice to me...." There was an eerie sense of sencerity in her voice that made Clark think it over.

'Is Kal really that bad? he is a part of me after all... And Lana likes him. Maybe I should..... No! Don't even think about it Clark!'

"Please Clark...." She pouted again.

"It's not that simple Lana!" Clark shouted.

"Why not! Why can't you just... be who you want to be!" Lana shouted back.

"He isn't who I want to be... " Clark said as his screams faded into a whisper as he thought it over once again.

'I could get into a lot of trouble. I could hurt Lana.... I can't do that to her again.'

"No..Lana...I can't."

"Fine, I'm leaving! I'll go to Metropolis alone. I'm sure I can meet a nice guy there!" She screamed as she walked towards the door, then slamming it behind her.

Clark shuttered. She's really leaving for Metropolis....
Clark almost expected to hear the sound of footsteps fading as she left him.

She didn't really want to leave...atleast not without him. The part of her that was the real Lana seemed to come back.

' I Don't want to leave Clark. I want to stay here forever...or have him come with me...' She thought then started to cry.

Clark heard and his heart sank. Real Lana or not, he caused her pain. He had to feel bad for her. He opened the door and there stood Lana whiping her tears away before he could see.

"Lana....." Clark whispered as he walked over to embrace her. She cried softly into his shoulder. "Lana.... I'm sorry. I wish I could go....but I can't. I have to take care of the farm. I can't run away again."

"I understand...." said the real Lana. "I just don't want to go without you...not another day...." She cried. Then, her tears began to stop and clear Kryptonite Lana took over. Her tears stopped. Clark was still embracing her.

"I like this...."

Clark's head shot up and noticed her change in attitude.
She had to soften him up to get him to go. So, she began to fake cry.

"Clark....." She sobbed. "Please....."

Clark was beginning to have second thoughts.

Then, as Clark was holding her, a sly smile spread acrossed her face. She took Clark's hand and held it, until he wasn't noticing and she slipped it on.

Here's more!

He had it all in the palm of his hand and the world at his feet. What more could a guy ever want? I won't tell her until she sees for herself just what I'm capable of. He thought.

Clark started to pack his clothes in a bag. He shoved in a pair of sneakers, some cash, and some pairs of dark wash jeans. Then, a smile swept across his face as he found the imfamous black, leather jacket and slipped it on as if he'd never parted with it. It felt good to be going somewhere where everyone he knew trusted him and didn't annoy him with any suspicions or acusations or questions. They trusted him, or they trusted Kal.

Lana stood beside him, watching as he packed. She reached down and picked up a familiar black, button-up shirt.

"This brings back sweet memories, you standing there big man in Metropolis. Why don't you wear this....for me...."
She said as she unbuttoned his shirt and slipped this on.


"There....much better. I never told you this, but I don't like you in plaid!" She said as she chuckled uncontrolably. Clark blushed with embarassment.
"Hey....that was mean!" He shouted in a child-like voice.

"I know...don't you love it?" She smiled and walked towards the door.

Thanx ClarkandLois and LoisandClark. I also happen to like Clois stories, but my favs. are Clana. Thant's quite a compliment coming from you two! Okay, enough waiting for you....and me! I think of what's gonna happen next as I go, so I know as much as you guys do!!! LOL. Here's some more!

Clark put his finger to his lips as he crept down the stairs. When he got to the bottom, he peeked out of the stairway into the living room where his parents are sitting on the couch.

"What are we going to do, Clark?" Lana asked almost concerned.

"You'll see." He replied.

Clark hesitated and couldn't resist eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Johnathon, why don't you go check on them?" Martha asked very curious and concerned.

"Alright, I'll be right back...but it could get ugly. If they're doing what I think they're doing....."

"Just relax, if they are....we'll find a way to confront them about it." Martha said as she kissed him softly on the cheek.

Clark panicked as he heard footsteps approaching and backed up the stairs.

Johnathon smiled and just as he was about to leave the room,

"Johnathon, could you get me some iced tea while you're up?"

"Sure."

A soft sigh of relief escaped Clark's mouth as he saw his father pouring a glass of tea.

"Now what?" Lana whispered.

Clark ignored the question, not knowing how to answer. Then, he remembered something..... they still thought that him and Lana are outside.

"Lana, we need to go back upstairs." Clark whispered as he pushed her up the steps.

"Why?"

He continued to push. "My dad...he still thinks we're out in the loft. When he comes by, he might see us. Go."

Lana ran upstairs without hesitation as Johnathon grabbed the doorknob. Then, he heard something upstairs..... laughing.....

Clark quickly cupped a hand over Lana's mouth to muffle the sound. "Shhhh...Lana....I think he heard us..."

Johnathon slowly walked to the bottom of the steps and paused. He didn't hear anything.....or see anything.

Johnathon was looking directly at them. But maybe he can't see us in the shadows.... Clark thought. They both stood frozen as John athon shrugged and walked outside.

They both let out a gasp of air they seemed to be holding for eternity.

"That...was too close..." Lana gasped.

"Yea. Well, lets go." They both began to creep downstairs and ran to the door. Then, they ran to the the street.

It's now or never. Clark thought as he picked lana up. Lana looked up at him both confused and kinda pleased. Clark smiled. "It's about time you know Lana...." He whispered. And before he could finnish, they were at Lex's mansion. ".....about who I really am."

Hope you guys liked that one. Can't wait to write more this weekend!

Here's an update!

Clark smiled then it faded like the sunlight into the night sky. His eyes lowered as he saw the look of confusion and dare he say it...discust. He didn't know what to say, he just waited.

'What the heck was that?!' She thought as she slowly backed away, looking at him as if he weren't human. 'Well, he surely can't be.......' She stood with her aarms folded.

"Mind explaining to me?" She muttered.

'Well, if she can't except me for who I am, I always have a backup. I'll tell her now.

"Well, Lana...." He said stepping closer." I'm not exactly who you think I am."

"What do you mean?!" She spat coldly.

"I'm not even human." He looked for her reaction. Her face was hard to look at, her eyes asking questions, she folded her arms over her chest and stared, just stared straight through him. He could barely speak. "Listen, if you can't except me for who, or what I am....just leave. Just leave Lana!" His soft whisper turned into a shout.

Lana's face shown anger, but she was scared. She turned around and walked slowly, her arms still folded and hair blowing in the strond wind. Clark lowered his head. 'She knows the truth..and she still can't love me.' He thought. Now he was angry, he began to walk the other way.'Don't let her get you down Kent! You can hve any girl you want, except her. It's not you...it's her. Move on!' He told himself angrily. As he was walking, the sky lit up and there was a loud bang coming from a distance. Then, the rain started and poured down on his body. He ignored it and kept walking, dripping wet. 'That b**** can walk home in the rain!' Then , his heart stopped when he heard her voice, screaming from behind him as the sky lit and lightning struck the Earth. She instantly turned around and ran behind him.

He super-sped and found his way to a fallen tree. He looked around, and there she was. She sat on the ground beside the tree, crying. She hid her face in her bloody hands.
"Lana?" Clark whispered. "Are you okay?"

She lifted her head and was surprised, even on that stuff, he was still well...Clark.
"Yea. I'm okay." She mumbled.

"You don't look it." He bent down and took her hand gently. "What happened?" He looked up at her with sorry eyes.

"It's nothing, I my leg just..got caught under the tree when I tripped and..." She held her hands up to his face. ".... I lifted it off."

"Lana, I'm so sorry." He said as he checked her leg for any injuries.

"It's okay. I'm fine." She lied, he heart broken.

"I don't believe you."

"Okay, It's just....that's a lot to handle. You cna't just tell me and expect me to understand." She saw the look on his face and sorrow in his eyes. "I'll try." She whispered. His face lit up and he smiled.

"I'll wait." He whispered as he lifted her up to her feet. Then he stood, still holding her hands, the rain pouring over them.

"You don't need to." She said.

She stepped closer and then, Clark lifted her up and kissed her with all his heart in it. He smiled then lifted her back down. She smiled and giggled. "Wow!" I feel much better!" She exclaimed.

Yay! Here's more!!!

Clark tried to open the front door, it was locked. Well, dyh, if you had is much money, you would keep it locked!

"Darn it!" He exclaimed as he pounded his fist on the door.

"What are we going to do?" Lana asked.

"I don't know. I..." He paused to think.' Why don't I just see if he'll let me in. I shouldn't have to sneak around like this. I'm sure Lana wouldn't mind witnessing one more of my abilities.' He thought as he smiled wickedly and pounded his fist on the door.
"Wake up Lex!" He murmured to himself. He pounded harder.
"Lex!" He shouted.

Lana stopped his hand from hitting the door once more and grasped it tight. "Clark, don't worry about it. I don't need a fancy car, all I want is you....and me.....and....." She said as she stroked the side of his face. Clark held her against him tightly as he stroked her hair with one hand and put the other around her waist. Then, he began to kiss her her face softly.

Suddenly, the door opened and there stood Lex. He seemed startled. He rubbed the back of his head.'They're together again?!' He thought.

He snapped back into reality. And they were STILL making out!




"Ahem..." Lex mumbled. "Ahem..."

"Oh hey Lex." Clark said finally egknowledging his existence.
"Hi." Lana said as she slapped Clark's rear end.




Clark jumped, then smiled.
"I see you two are getting along nicely." Lex said coldly, folding his arms over his chest.

"Yea. I guess you could say that." Lana cooed, then giggled.

"Hey, can we come in?" Clark asked impatiently.

"Yea....sure..."

"Thanx man." Clark said as he walked by and slapped him on the shoulder.

"Thank you." Lana said sweetly as she walked by and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, making sure Clark didn't see.

Lex smiled. He couldn't help himself. God, did she look beautiful. He rubbed the side of his cheek and walked in after them.

Clark and Lana sat down on the couchin front of the warm fireplace. Lex walked in and sat next to them.

"So, what's up?" Lex asked.

"What do you mean?" Clark asked.

"If you came here during the night, there must be a good reason for it."

"Oh, yea. We just...uhh...wanted to say hi." Lana said nervously.

"Okay...are you guys feeling okay?"

"Yea, Never better." Clark replied.

"Then, seriously. What do you want?" Lex asked impatiently.

' Why should we keep it a secret?' Clark asked himself.
Her whispered in Lana's ear and turned to Lex.

"Lex, you should know...that....me and Lana...are..." Clark was interupted by Lana shouting."We're moving to Metroplois!" She screamed.

Lex looked as if he were in shock. "What?! Are you insane?"

"Maybe..." Clark replied.

"Do your parents aware of this?"

Lana and Clark looked around nervously.

"I think I should give them a call." He said angrily as he stood up and walked to the phone.

"You have to stop him." Lana shouted.

"Don't you worry..." Clark smiled and walked behind Lex. He tapped on his shoulder and Lex turned around. "What?!" What do you want?"

"Let's see..." He began as he struck Lex in the back of the head with his hand. "Your money....your cars...." He continued. Then, he pushed him into the wall. Lex fell helplesslt to the floor. He laid there, motionless. Clark coninued. "And, you dead."

Lana shrieked. "Lex!" She cupped her hand over her mouth and stood slowly. She stepped closer and her eyes began to burn as warm tears dripped from her face. Clark looked over at Lana. He didn't look the least bit compassionate. He quickly looked away and grinned. 'Wow. What a relief. No more interrogations from him.' He thought. He felt as if the weight of the world was lifted from his shoulders.

Lana was still crying. 'Oh my god. Oh my god. He didn't. Lex isn't....dead. He isn't!' She told herself.

"I can't believe this...." Lana mumbled under her breath as she cauciously over to Lex's lifeless body. There was a stream of blood running from his lip and dripping on the floor. A puttle beneath him, a deep red. His head was to one side and his back to the wall. 'Be strong.' She told herself as she stood in front of him. She held back her tears and nelt beside him. "Lex...."
'He did so much for me.' She thought. 'He can't be gone.'

Here's more.

She inched closer, and shuttered as she realized she couldn't feel him breathing. She held in the tears that flooded to her eyes. Then, she put a gentle hand to his face and whiped the blood off. She couldn't withhold them any longer. Before long, her tears escaped into the puttle of blood beside her, the two mixing together.

Clark stopped smiling. Even on red K, he still cared for her. He couldn't care less that Lex was dead. "Lana....." He whispered.

She didn't answer. She simply looked up at him with teary, bloodshot eyes wearily. Then she looked away. She couldn't look at a murderer.

Clark spoke again, this time with more sincerity in his voice. "Lana...you have to understand. I had to. It was the only way."

Lana turned and glared into his eyes. She stood up and walked in front of him. "Only way to what?! Try to explain that one to me!" She shouted with all the strength she could muster.

"I did it so that we can have the perfect life together. I want you to have only the best. I did it for you, Lana!"

"Am I supposed to be flattered?!" She shouted as she pushed him.

"Well, yea." He said as he looked to her neck. The necklace was gone.

"Well, I'm not!" :ana shouted as Clark looked around the room for the necklace. He used his xray vision to find it under one of the cusions in the couch. He ran over and reached into the couch.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

Clark ignored her and held up the necklace to his face. He quickly put it behind his back.

She pushed her body into his and kissed him passionately. She held him against the wall. She had him right where she wanted him to be. Then, clark dragged her to the couch, where he unbuttoned her shirt.
Lana gasped, "Clark....wait until we get to Metropolis. Then you can do whatever you want." She giggled and smiled
mischieviously.
Clark's face lit up and he smiled. "Really!"

"Yup."
