This is the new Wes Craven flick coming out in AUgust. It stars Rachel McAdams, Cillian Murphy, and Kyle Gallner. Its basically about a girl who meets a guy in line to a delayed flight, thn at the airport bar, and then sits next to him on the plane. Once they introduce themselves she learns something might make this uncoincidental. Sorry trying not to add spoilers. Is anyone else excited

i liked the teaser trailer better then the newer trailer. the first one made it seem like he was a monster, the second one made it just seem like he was a bad guy who was going to kill this womans family.

Actually hes going to kill another guy, that her dad works with, and he needs her help on information, but if she tells anyone, he'll kill her dad

I know, the teaser seemed promising-but now...blah!.....looks boreing...I predict small ticket sales.

The previews are on all the time...The first ones were better but the newest ones are still pretty good. I really wanna see the movie.

Actually its previews, since the movie isnt out yet. Its released the 19th.

Critics preview the movie in order for them to write their reviews. It's called a press screening. Not sure when Red Eye has it's press sceening. Either it already has or soon considering the film just had it's premiere in Hollywood.

I'm going in open minded. I'm a fan of Cillian Murphy and Wes Craven, so hopefully this will be a better fare than some of Craven's oddities of the 80s.

I'm dying to see this movie when it comes out, I'm a big Cillain Murphy fan although I don't like horror movies very much. I still want to see it though.

Yep, I just saw it. I thought it was a great suspense movie, and I recommend it. Oh, and Rachel McAdams is hoooot. ;)

Oh yeah, and I also saw Kyle Gallner (who played Bart in Run in case you didn't know.) He was one of the passengers on the plane, and he had a pretty funny part. :lol: He only had a small role though.

This movie does look good, and I do agree that Rachel is very HOT. She reminds me a bit of Jennifer Garner at times.

Speaking of KG, that kid gets around in terms of roles. He also played a character on Veronica Mars, as well as Jack and Bobby as well.

Hopefully he will reprise his role as Bart in S5.

I just saw the trailer for it looks good. The guy in the trailer I saw was the scarecrow (In Batman Begins)

I saw Red Eye! I thought it was really well directed by Wes Craven, and both of the main stars were very believiable in their roles.

The best surprise of the movie was Colby Donaldson from Surivor: The Austrialian Outback season 2! I was so surprised! It was funny because the theater cheered when he came on screen! :lol: And during the credits when his name popped up some dudes yelled: "Donaldson!!!!"--Well, I thought it was funny.:D

Poor guy seemed a bit stiff on the screen though. He ran funny and his eyeline seemed off at times, like he didn't know where he was suspose to be looking-sometimes, but not all the time, though.

i saw it and liked it, it was unintentionally funny and suspenseful. I had a lot of fun watching it compared to other movies i've seen lately. anyone else like it?

I'm glad everybody liked it. I'm looking forward to watching it since I'm a Cillian Murphy fan and I was worried that it wouldn't be any good.

I thought it had its moments but overall I thought it was a forgettable movie. The ending was the worst too with the husband and wife that McAdams tells off. :rolleyes:

yeah i think your right, i didn't like the end very much.. but overall i enjoyed watching it.

It was very enjoyable movie, I usually don't like Craven's work, butthis has got to be one of his better movies, it was suspensful, thriling and ecxiting, very good movie.

He did a great job..he just creeped me out! But i think you will enjoy his part! :)

Good, good.:) Cillian's a great actor, I figured that he'd do a good job in it.

Cillian Murphy did do a good job acting in this movie. But I think now doing Batman Begins and this one he has typecasted himself as a villian.
I didn't think that he was completely evil in this movie there were moments I felt that he actually had some heart and compassion. He wasn't a ruthless killer.
