before graduation (what really happened) clana story

The sun was due to set in 15 minutes and Clark was just waiting for it , like he always did . But this time he wanted to saver it some how , and remember it just as it was at the moment it happened . He wanted one of his last memories of high school days to be here in the loft . It seemed there was something missing from the usual setting of the loft though. " Lana" he thought to himself as the moments grew closer to the sun's setting. Lana Lang often made the whole experience all the more grand to watch . Although , when Lana was around he could hardly keep focus on anything else. They had shared many of thier evenings together here disgusing life and love , and looking deep into each other eyes before they shared in a long sweet kiss. Of course , there were also many nights of tears and angst held between these barn walls .
Clark walked over to his desk to look over his college application just one last time. He really couldn't believe the next stage of his life was just a summer away.
"Reeerhh," low and suddle creak came from the stairs. But there wasn't any need turn and look to who was coming. It was the same sound he had heard for 4 years now . The same sound that he longed to hear when he was lonely . The sound that made him smile . The sound of the love of his life , Lana Lang .
Clark didn't move. He acted as if he hadn't heard her come in.
A small warm hand moved up his back that gave him chills , but gave him butterflies . He felt himself start to smile as he turned to her .
"Lana, hey" Clark spoke in a soft tone .
" Hi Clark" she smiled back so radiantly that it made him melt .
"Everything alright, Lana ?" Clark asked , even though he'd known she had just come to see him .
"Yeah , it's great , I just can't believe we're going to be graduating tomorrow, it's really here , ya know?" She looked down with a sigh , and then back up into Clark's eyes .
"I was thinking about where I want to go in life , and what I want to do , and I just felt a little overwhelmed." She said giving him the doe-eyed look that made him fall in love.
"Yeah , I've been thinking alot about that too acctually , but I'm sure whatever you chose to do , it will turn out great" he said with a twinkle in his eye . She looked down and pulled a folded piece of paper from her pink coat .
"Do remember those letters we wrote our freshman year , ya know the ones you were supposed to write to you "future self" for graduation ?" She said a little timid .
"Yeah , I'm pretty sure I might still have mine too." Clark said trying to remember . "So , what does it say?" he asked , raising his left eyebrow a bit it curiousity .
"Hmm.. well Mr. Kent , maybe I don't want to tell you ," she said with a joking smile as she started to laugh .
" Oh, come on Lana , let me see ." Clark attemped to snatch it from her grip , but she pulled back quick and tucked in under her arm .
"Actually ... I haven't read it yet either." Lana said feeling complished .
"Well if it's that personal , Lana , then you don't have to share it with me ." he said looking disappointed .
" I have propsition for you Clark ." Clark looked up with a smile .
"And just what might that be ? " he said smirking .
"Find your letter ... and trade with me before you open it . After graduation , we will open each other's letters and see just how much we have changed , see how much we've grown , and how we measure up to who we thought we would become to the actual person that we have each become." she said with a long sigh .
It seemed to Clark that Lana had thought this out , and it seemed like this meant alot to her . Looking down at her with a smile , "Well how do you know I still have my letter ?" he asked knowing that she knew him so well but so little in the same respect .
" I know you , Clark . You wouldn't throw something like this away." she said a little reaching . Clark walk over to the desk and slid his hand along the underneath . He ripped a note attached with tape from the bottom of it .
"Ahh.. well how did I know ?" Lana said with a grin . " Now do we have a deal ?" she looked up at him .
"Sure , Lana , but this is just between us though right , I mean you aren't going to show my letter to anyone else ?" Clark asked a little scared . " Gosh , I don't even remember what I wrote in that letter. It was so long ago it seems like . " he looked back at her .
"Clark , of course I woudn't show it to anyone , this is a very personal thing for me too and that's why I want to share it with someone I care so much about." she said looking deep into his eyes , moved in closer and place her delicate hand on his strong chest . " I trust you Clark ..... I .. I ... I love y.. " , she was interupted suddenly by the call of a familiar voice .
" Clark , are you up here ?" came Chloe's voice from the stairs . Lana looked down with disappointment , and took her hand off Clark's chest when she saw Chloe's eyes roll in an annoyed way .
" What are you guys doing up here ?" Chloe asked with a grin .
" Uhh.. nothing , justing talking about graduation tomorrow ." Clark said looking uncomfortable . Lana nodded and looked up , but didn't dare look Chloe in the eye .
" Well , I better go . I have to close up at the Talon tonight . Lana said in almost a whisper . Clark had just realized that Lana had been holding his arming gently , and as she let go softly he almost couldn't fight the urge to pull her back and hold her close . But , he let go , leaning towards her . Lana turned and smiled looking deep in his eyes and for a moment they got lost , and then realized that Chloe was starring in the most outright way , that they both felt uncomfortable .
"Bye" Lana whisper .
" Oh, wait don't forget this ." He handed her his letter .
" I almost forgot ." she said with a laugh as she looked downed and grabbed her own letter from her jacket . " Here's mine , take good care of that ." she said joking . Clark stood watching her every movement down the stairs .
He looked up to see Chloe giving him a half digusted look and the other side , Clark could see her pain . He shouldn't have let Chloe see him with Lana like this , and he felt sorry , but it was her who had walked into his loft to find him with Lana . He felt a little less guilty after that thought .
" So , what's up , Chloe ?" Clark said trying not to focus on Lana .
" Uhh.. actually I tried to call , I wanted to know if you help me with the last issue of the Torch , didn't mean to interrupt anything ." she said looking up from the floor .
"Chloe , nothing was going on , you know Lana are just .. "
"Yeah , yeah I know . You and Lana are just friends . Why is that so hard for me to believe ?" she said looking back sarcastically . Clark looked away and sat down on the coach .
" Thanks Chloe , but I really can't I have some things I have to do , sorry ." Clark said picking up his folder full of college applications forms . " Guess I don't need these anymore ." Clark said looking disappointed .
"You're staying in Smallville , aren't you ? " Chloe said in an upset tone . " he just looked at her without a word . " Clark , you are meant for so much more than this . Do you know what you could become . You could very well have the brightest future of anyone coming out of Smallville High . I don't understand why you don't explore all your options and use your gifts ." she said taking a deep breath . " I just don't get it . Even if it is all for Lana , your bigger than all this , I just know it , Clark ."
"What are you saying Chloe ?!" Clark looked almost angry .
" I just mean that , you could do better . And I think you owe it to yourself to give it a chance ." she tilted her head a bit . Clark had anger and confusion in his eyes , but then it quickly faded as he started to smile .
"Chloe ... I want to thank you ." he said turning to her . " Thanks for always believing in me . You're my best friend Chloe and you have always been here to support me . You mean a lot to me ." he said in a lower tone . He smiled at her like he was remembering memories , as he laughed to himself .
" Well , thanks Clark , your my best friend too . One thing I can say about you is that your not always there when I want you , but you're always there when I need you . " Chloe smiled back even sweeter than his grin. Clark leaned in and hugged Chloe and she embraced him back with even more enthusiasum . She let go and stepped back , even though she didn't want to . "Well , I guess I'm gonna go back to the Torch , I'm gonna miss it so much . It feels I'm leaving my life behind in that room . " she said shrugging .
" Maybe it's you who's meant for more Chloe . " he said sweetly .
"Thanks Clark ." Chloe responded as she made her way down the stairs and down to her little red volxwagon . Clark turned back to the window overlooking the farm . He had missed the sunset again .
" I'll get it tomorrow." he thought to himself . " Yeah , I'll get it tomorrow ." Clark reached into his pocket and grabbed the letter Lana had given him . He wasn't supposed to open it until after graduation .
But , a little peek couldn't hurt , right ?

haha.. i made it up .. I got the idea from my school when we were assigned to write letters to our "furture selves". Sorry if I was unclear with the title .

Here's the next part as promised , tell me if you like it and how it's developing , and if it's worth continuing . Thanks ;)

Clark's fingers slid softly between the envelope as not to rip it . He wanted to be suddle , even though he knew he was alone , he really shouldn't be doing this . He slowly pulled three pieces of paper folded around each other . He unfolded the paper and took a deep breath .
" Dear Miss Lana Lang of 2005 ...."

Lana was sitting alone there in the Talon with dim lights glowing down on her . Clark's letter still in it's envelope was resting on the table in front of her . She just sat there pondering wether or not to open it .
She leaned foward to touch the letter , but then pulled back . " I shouldn't do this " she said out loud . She sat back in her chair . " I shouldn't do this .. but I've got to ." Lana said as she lungged foward and snatched the letter from the table . She was done fighting with herself . She had to know what was in that letter . "Maybe it had Clark's seceret held inside, and he would finally let her in . Then they could be together , finally." she thought . Lana knew exactly how she felt about Clark . He took her breath away just by the look in his eye when he came close . She had no doubt , that she was truely in love . But , she wasn't sure exactly about how Clark felt about her now . She had a boyfriend now , well she still did somewhat . She had been horrbile to Clark all year , and it killed her to see Clark hurt , but she had done it to him . She had only wanted to get away from the hurt , and in doing so she had pulled away . A tear rolled down her cheek and more began to fall , and she just let them . She breathed in and then out like it would be her last time .
She stuck her fingers between the two pieces of envelope and move her finger to the other end of it . She pulled out two pieces of paper folded around each other . She slowly unfolded the paper and began to read .
" Dear Mr. Clark Kent of 2005 , I never really thought this day would come , but I am happy to congratulate to on graduating . You should be proud of yourself . You have wonderful parents that love you and always support you . Remember when you were a freshman ? Your best friends were Pete Ross , Chloe Sullivan , and Lana Lang ."
Lana looked down from the letter for a moment , and felt herself start to cry again . " Is that all he felt for me ? I always thought ..." she said to herself . "Maybe this is all he feels for me now . I always thought I could tell , but if I was wrong once , I could be wrong again ." she thought . She went back to reading ..
" Pete knows you well , and you trust him ,and maybe one day he will the truth about you . Chloe is a good friend who always helps you with your problems . I don't know if I can fully trust Chloe sometimes though, she's a reporter , and sometimes she lets it get the best of her . Lana Lang , well Lana is the only girl that I have ever really loved . She's beautiful , but it's so much more than that . She understands me and I can't help but smile when I see her . And even though she has a boyfriend now , I know that one day I will be with her , I know that I will always love her , and I hope one day I can tell her my seceret . And I hope by the time you read this you have told her . I don't know how you'll find the words or the strength , but you've got to fight for what you want if you really intend on getting it , and what I want , is Lana Lang . It seems to me that she could never understand , but maybe in acctuality , she might understand better than anyone . Make sure that you let her know that you love her , and if she doesn't feel the same , then let her be . But , I know that I will always feel something for her somewhat , no matter what happens. I like to help people , heck I bet I've saved half the people in Smallville by now ..haha . I have also started writing in the torch a little to help Chloe out . I actually like it a lot more than I expected . Maybe one day I'll become a real reporter . I hope I will be very sucessful one day and maybe finally let the love of my life know that I am from that I have special abilites and that I'm not from this planet . I know she'll probably think I'm crazy and she won't understand it . Even if she never speaks to me again , I think it's something I have to do , you have got to promise me that . Good luck in your new life , study hard in college and work hard to make all your dreams come true . Signed , Clark ."
Lana looked up with a glisten of hope in her eyes as she wiped away her tears . He had always loved her , and now she knew that . She closed her eyes and hugged the letter as if it was Clark. "I have to go him , I have to tell Clark how I feel ." she said aloud .
" You really love that farmboy?" came a voice from the darkness . Lana's eyes widened as she turned to find a man step into the dim light of the room.

"... I would like to congratulate you on graduating with the class of 2005 . Your one step further in the plan for your life . I've always dreamed of becoming something more , going somewhere else , seeing other things. Lana , I hope you've seen new things or plan on it , because I know there's a big world on the outside of Smallville . But , for now you still live with Aunt Nell . And I know that you won't have forgotten even by now , that your parents died when you were young . Sorry to bring it up like this , I know it hurts , even now I'm sure . You have lots of people that care about you though , like Whitney , that was your boyfriend , way back when .. haha .. "
Clark looked down in disappointment remembering that year when Lana was with Whitney . He started to read again .
"but I don't really see myself with him that much longer . Not that I don't care about him , but it's a different feeling then it used to be , and I hate myself for saying this , but I feel a little held in this relationship . I shouldn't have wrote that , but if I can't be honest with myself , who can I be honest with ? Whitney's a quarterback looking to be scouted to a big football university . And for now I'm a cheerleader , but I don't really like it , but I haven't let anyone know . My best friend is Chloe Sullivan . She's a great reporter and she great about helping me with problems , but like I said , she's a reporter and it often dominates the better half of her personality. I have become surprisingly close to the boy next door . He's kind , and mysterious and ... strikingly handsome , haha sorry , but again , I should be honest , right ? He sweet , and honest , but I somehow think he's hiding some dark seceret from everyone . His name is Clark Kent , and he makes my heart race in my chest everytime he comes around . He trips over his own feet everytime he sees me , I actually think it's kind of cute . But , the truth is , Clark is someone I can see myself with in the future . Maybe even the near future . His warm smile just makes me melt and it's all I can do not to to pull him close to kiss his soft lips. But, I know that I can't . It would break Whitney's heart . But , I think I'm in love with someone else now , someone I care a lot about , Clark . I hope one day that I have my chance with him . But, for now . I'll keep working at the Talon , which by the way I opened myself and I am now a part owner , and hide behind the coffee mugs watching him in awe . I hope that you are successful in your life Lana . I hope you make decisions , but remember to take risks . I just know that your going to make all your dreams come true . Signed , Lana ."
Clark just stood there staring at the night sky . He didn't exactly expect the whole letter to be about him , but he was definatley flattered . Clark smiled his widest grin and began to read the letter again . He just couldn't believe that they had always been in love with each other . Maybe , just maybe it was time to let Lana know his seceret so that nothing would stand between their love .

"Jason?! " Lana asked startled . She quickly folding the letter and sliding the letter back into the envelope neatly .
" I always knew you still had feelings for Clark ." Jason said moving a bit closer to Lana .
" Clark!? What about him ? Where have you been Jason ?" she asked trying to hide her fear . Jason stood on the other side of the table facing Lana . He stared into her eyes coldly . She looked away , but still she sat there keeping her composure .
"Oh , come on Lana , you don't have to lie to me . I can see it in yours eyes , you've been lusting over Kent for awhile now , infact I bet you've never really stopped !" Lana look back at him sharply .
"You mean like you've lied to me ?!" she raised from her chair speaking sternly . He started circling her as he walked slowly at first and then began to come in closer .
"Clark isn't what you think , Lana. He's got secerets ." Jason said brushing the bottom of her chin with his hand and forced a kiss . Lana pulled away in disgust , but stood stood her ground.
" And you don't ?! Jason , your threating me , and your scaring me , I can't trust you and I've told you that . There is no more us , in case I wasn't clear before . Now , I want you to leave !! " she darted a glare at him that he had never seen from her before . He lunged toward her squeezing her jaw bone tightly .
" I would have given you the world Lana . This whole Isobel thing , I was willing to look past it and help you because I loved . But, I can see now that I never really never meant anything to you ." a tear escaped from Jason's left eye . He breathed in with a sniffle." You have taken what's important to me , now I'm going to take what's important to you . That's right ...Kent ." he said widening his eyes .
"What are you going to do? Leave out of this! Besides, you could never win against Clark!" Lana said fighting to get the words out . He looked down at his pocket and smiled .
"I know you might think so , because Clark's not like the others . Lana , he's more connected to these stones then any of us ." Lana gasped for air remembering what she had read . It hadn't even registered in her mind . All she could focus on was what he had wrote about his love towards her . Now Lana's eyes widened and Jason took notice .
" Clark has nothing to do with any of this ." she said trying to look away . But , Jason pulled her face back to face him hurting her a little .
" Sure he doesn't , I think you of all people can see it , Lana . But , it doesn't matter what you think ..." he said throwing her against the wall and turning for the door . "...Because I know his weakness."

Okay sorry it took so long . I know it's not as long as the other entries , but hopefully it will do =) Tell me what you think .

"Now, I'm going to take what's important to you." came an echo down a long narrow hallway to ear of Lionel Luthor . He turned to follow the sound of a young girl moaning in pain . He quickly moved through the halls until he was in Lex's office. He heard the noise coming from the bookcase . He walked over to it and examined it very carefully.
"Hmm.." Lionel scowled and promtly flipped the third book in line on the second self over on it's side , revealing six seperate small televisions . Lionel was intregued , but not as surprised . He watched intensly as Jason threw Lana against the wall with impressive force .
"Because I know his weakness." Jason whispered coldly . Lionel watched as Jason reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a green meteor rock and stared at it shortly but surely before he left the Talon. Lionel grabbed the remote resting on the television . " Because I know his weakness." the tape replayed . "Because I know his weakness." Lionel played it back again . His eyes were gleaming with a glassy look .

Clark was grinning his biggest smile as he neared the Talon. He picked up his pace and tried not to show how excited he really was . He gripped the handle on the door of the Talon and pulled it open slowly .
"Lana ?" he called. "Lana? It's Clark . We have to talk." he said looking up to the stairs and then back down to a small voice creeping from the corner.
"Clark?" Lana said barely opening her eyes . "I , I .. Clark , Jason he .. he's going .. but how .. are you alright ?" she stumbled , not able to find the words . Clark ran over to her , holding her in his arms . Lana was scared , and he could see that .
"Lana , what happened?" Clark asked concerned for his love .
"Clark," Lana said breathing hard . She placed her right hand on the back of head and her left on his lower back . Lana pulled him close , slowly closed her eyes and passionatley kissed Clark , like she had wanted to do since the first time she saw him . And even though this was not the first kiss Clark and Lana had shared,it seemed just as innocent and special. Clark returned the kiss with just as much compassion. The moment lasted for only a minute or two. To Clark , it seemed a sweet second too short . Lana pulled back slowly and opened her eyes , but Clark kept his face close to hers and held his breath for a moment. He opened his eyes and looked deep into hers .
"Lana , I .." Clark started but she put her finger to his lips. She moved in closer again .
"Clark , it's Jason . He said .. he said that he was going to kill you. He came in angry with me , he said he knew that I loved you . He threatened me and he said he was going after you .. he said he knew your weakness." Lana said looking at Clark intensly and deep . Clark looked away a moment , but then looked back at her .
"My weakness? But .." Clark pretended to look confused even though he knew what was happening. But, how did Jason discover his seceret , he thought to himself .
"Clark , I know , I read the.." Lana began a little timid , but Clark interupted her not listening to her .
"Oh no , my parents ! What if Jason's going to the farm ?!" Clark said talking to himself . He had a scared look in his eye , like he didn't know what he was going to do . "I have to save them! Lana , I'm sorry , go to Chloe's and call me if anything happens . We will talk later . Be careful ." he embraced her sweetly and ran out the Talon door.
"Be careful , Clark .. I love you." Lana said letting a tear slip gently down her cheek. But , it was too late . He was already gone .

Oh gosh , I completely forgot all about the necklace being neutralized . I was watching 1st season reruns before I wrote the segment .. go figure . Sorry about that . "Dad? What are you doing here?" Lex asked you an angry tone . Lionel jumped up , a little startled , but didn't let his son see .
"Lex , don't be angry son , or at least not with me ." Lionel said turning to Lex , trying to sell his point. " I know you have feelings for Miss Lang , but spying on her , in her own place ... well , Lex that's taking it a little far , son." he said raising his bushy eyebrow towards Lex , trying his best to change the story on him . Lex's anger grew pushed his father aside and looked at the television viewing the back tables of the Talon.
He watched as struggled to her feet and grabbed her cell phone out of her bag . "Yeah , Chloe? Are you at home? Well , could you maybe come and get me? Oh, I forgot , the deadline , uhh.. no ,no I'm fine. Can you meet me at home then? Okay , ten minutes , great. Alright , thanks Chloe . Bye" Lana said quivering , but not because it was cold . Lana was frightened . But, frighten from what Lex thought.
"What happened to her? What's wrong with Lana?!" he asked almost screaming as he turned to scowl at his father . But, Lionel had disappeared .

Clark raced home even faster than his usual fast , not even looking where he was going . "What if he's hurt mom and dad? I don't know what I would do." Clark thought to himself . "And how does he know my weakness?" he continued thinking again just as he reached his house , but he didn't stop until he was in the kitchen . " Mom?! Dad?! Hello!!? " Clark screamed , he was more scared than he had ever been . He sped around the house panicked. "Where is everyone?" Clark almost whispered . He trugged back to the kitchen and ran his hand along the counter top . He placed his hand apon a yellow sheet of notebook paper ripped from a notebook . He frantically scrambled to pull the letters into sight .
"Clark, your father and I are out for the night . We're in Metropolis and we are getting a hotel for tonight . The number of the hotel's at the bottom , we'll be back tomorrow afternoon around 3:00. Sorry about the short notice , your father said it was a spur of the moment kind of thing . haha . We love you sweetie .

"Hmm.." he said looking up from the note. "That's strange , but lucky , I guess. At least now I don't have to worry about my parents now ." He said to himself . He set the note back down and stuck his head in the refrigerater . Suddenly , he heard a sharp cry of pain . He supersped upstairs again and rushed through the bathroom door.
"Smallville! What is your deal freak? Get out !" Lois demanded glarring up at him , directing her attention away from waxing her legs. She grabbed a towel quickly and rapped it around herself .
Clark calmed down a bit, and started to laugh .
"Hah , uhh, sorry Lois , I uhh.." Clark stumbled .
"Uhh, yeah you what Smallville, thought you could get a peek?" she said looking up at him again sarcastically. Clark began to nod his head , back and forth slowly .
"Uh, no sorry , but I thought I heard screaming ." he said looking away, covering his eyes .
"And what? You would once again be the galant hero? Clark, the wax just burns ," she said looking back down ,"that's all... no get out." When she saw Clark's eyes begin to wonder she quickly spat,"This isn't a peep show, move!" Lois demanded . Clark did as he was told and left closing the bathroom door behind him . He walked down the hall to his room , grabbed a tee-shirt and a pair of pajama pants , and headed for the coach . He just layed there for a while pondering what Lana had told him. Was Jason just bluffing to scare Lana , or did he really know . And the bigger question was , would Jason come after Clark ? He layed there worried on the coach in complete darkness , other the little bit of moonlight that barely showed the windows. He slowly drifted off , giving into the darkness. Everything was silent .
"REeeghr" came a squeak in the floor bored suddenly . Clark awoke , but ignored the sound . "Eeeeeeeerghr" it floorboards sounded again . This time Clark opened his eyes and felt his muscles tighten , but he continued to lay there . "Eeeeeerheer" and there it was again , only this time it was louder , and closer .
"Lois? Is that you?" Clark whispered . His sight was blurring from his sleep , but it began to straighten out . "Lois?" he asked again .
"No .." came a voice from the shadows . Clark turned to respond , when he felt a sharp blow to his head . And just as he had slowly drifted before , Clark's body gave into the darkness. His last vision was his asailant standing above him , looking down on him .

Here's the next part, sorry it took so long ! I know it's kinda short but I will post more soon I promise! Tell me what you think.

"Ahhhh" Clark groaned softly in pain as he started to blink rapidly . His eyes were blurry as he moved his hands along a leather interior beneath him. He slid his hands up to window . His body moved back and forth with the rythem of the car . He realized he was sitting in a limo . Clark suddenly recalled where he was before this. Suddenly, Clark began to move fractically about as if he was trying to break free. But, he was free. Clark was not restrained by anything. He started to relax a bit . He sat back , but his muscules tightened. It was dim where he sat , only the moonlight shone through the window to make a pale reflection on Clark's face. He looked to the other end of the limo , the way he sat facing . It was nothing but black.
"Mr. Kent" came a voice from the darkness . Clark shifted his head to get a better view .
"What do you want with me?" Clark returned in a deep voice. Clark could hear the shadow move closer. A hairline slowly came in to view . Then, a forehead , and a pair of widened eyes that gaped at Clark. The rest of the stranger's rough countenance was clear now .
"To warn you" said the voice of Lionel Luthor. Clark looked at him in confusion and turned his head for a moment. Then looked back. "Clark , I know you don't trust me , but you have to trust me now. Jason Teague is going to kill you. He knows you posess the missing element. The Teagues will stop at nothing to get what they want , and what they , Mr. Kent , is that stone." Clark returned Lionel's unbroken glare .
"Even if I did have the stone, why are you helping me?" Clark asked after a silence. Lionel slowly moved back into the light.
"Because, Clark , I know your meant for something much greater than the rest of us." he layed back into the darkness as the car came to a stop. Clark moved slowly for the handle on the door and pulled as he returned back for one last look at the shadows.
"Thanks" he said opening the door and getting out. He shut the door behind him and found himself back infront of the Kent farm. He watched the limo drive all the way out through the trees , until it was out of sight,and he supersped back into the house.

"Chloe?!" came the scared voice of Lana as she entered the Sullivan home. "Chloe?! Hello? Is anyone home?" Lana screamed. She was breathing heavy and trembling , which made her voice shake. She stepped slowly and quietly as she moved through the house. She crept up the stairs , and every time she took a step she turned to look behind her. When she reached the top of the stairs she made her way slowly to Chloe's room. It was pitch black ,as all Lana's surroundings melted together. "Chloe?" she said in a faint whisper. Lana reached for the light switch and flicked it up. But, nothing happened , the room remained dark. Lana took a deep breath and started to shiver as she turned to go back down stairs. Suddenly, a hand grabbed her and covered her mouth to muffle her scream.

"Shh.. Lana , it's me!" Chloe whispered releasing Lana slowly. "I think there's someone in the house." she continued whispering. Lana could only hear the faint whispers of her friend , but she couldn't see her.
"Oh , thank god Chloe! I was so scared!" Lana whispered loudly , a little excited , reaching for Chloe's arm. Chloe felt a touch on her arm and she jerked quickly away.
"Chloe? Are you alright? It's only me , I just wanted to find where you were." Lana said in a bit of a defensive voice.
"Sorry, but I really do think there's someone in the house." Chloe whispered back , taking Lana's arm.
"Is that why the lights don't work? Do you think they messed with the power?" Lana said getting worried. "Let's just leave." she whispered. They stood their in silence for a moment , as if to listen for any noise. "Nothing" Lana said moving her eyes a bit frantically.
"Okay, let's go." Chloe whispered back and pulled Lana's arm out into the hallway. They made their way down the stairs quickly and hurried out the door. "I'll drive" Chloe said to Lana as they both headed for her little red bug , got it , and sped off.
After a few minutes of driving in complete silence ,Chloe spoke , "Gosh, can you believe we are graduating tomorrow? I mean , it seems like we just got in that place." Chloe looked at Lana for a moment ,and then back at the rode.
"Yeah , I know , I'm going to miss it alot ." Lana shrugged and then frowned a momemt. "And what will you do without the Torch?" Lana looked back over at her .
"And what will you do without Clark?" Chloe shot back at Lana rolling her eyes.
"Chloe.. you know Clark and I are just friends." Lana said hesitating a bit and holding her breath waiting for a reply. Chloe looked down a minute without responce.
"Yeah.." she said without looking at Lana. The car was once again silent. And even though Chloe little red bug was somewhat spacy on the inside , it suddenly felt crammed , like there was no room left between Lana and Chloe.
"Should we go to Clark's house? I mean , it might be safest there." Lana said without thinking.
"That's probably true, Clark would always protect you." Chloe said focusing on the road even more so now."
"Chloe, I don't know what you want me to say!" Lana yelled annoyed. "I know you have feelings for Clark , but so do I. I've tried to hide them from you, but why is it my fault that Clark loves me back?!" she yelled again. Chloe felt a tear form in her left eye as it slowly rolled down her cheek.
"I know ..."Chloe said taking a deep breath. "But, just once I'd like to be that girl. That girl that he constantly dreams about. That girl that his always talks about..." she was crying harder now ,"that girl.. that he loves." she whispered out from her quiet pained voice.
"Chloe..I.." Lana started , but Chloe interupted her , looking at road at first , and then ending with her eyes dead on Lana.
"But, that girl Lana , that girl is you. I know that." Chloe said looking away again. "I'm sorry , Lana. Please don't be mad. I'm happy for you, really I am." she said letting the tears swell up in her eyes.
"Oh, Chloe! I'm so sorry." Lana said affectionately as she reached over and hugged Chloe. Chloe hugged her back with one hand still on the steering wheel.
"Let's never fight about Clark again." Chloe said , meaning it to her best friend. Lana hugged her more tightly.
"Agreed." she whispered. Chloe sat back up to drive. She still had tears in her eyes. It made her sight very blurry. She saw headlights from another cars with it's high beams on, imparing her vision almost completey. She reached one hand up to wipe the tears away when she heard a loud horn growing closer and then Lana scream.
"AHHHHhh!! Chloe!! Look out!" Lana screamed terrified. Chloe heard a loud crash and felt herself being thrown forward. Then everything went black.

I know you guys probably hate me, but I just got back and I couldn't use the computer for the rest of the week when I was gone , or I would have let you know. But, here's the next post, the next one will be soon, seeing as how it's getting close to the end. Sorry again, but tell me what you think. -Thanks Alex ;)

"Smallville, is something going on?" Lois asked squinting from the stairs walking down towards Clark. He didn't want to tell Lois, but she could be in danger.
"Actually, yeah."Clark said looking at her a little timid.
"What is it?"Lois said not expecting this responce. She walked over to Clark and put her hand on his back concerned, looking him straight in the eye. But, Clark was looking down at the counter."Clark? Are you okay?" she said trying to get him to look at her. He wouldn't though, he just kept his head down.
"Lois, I think someone's trying to kill me." Clark said finally looking at her. Her eyes widened and she came closer.
"Who?! Who wants to hurt you?" she started to whisper, but she got louder quickly .
"Jason Teague." Clark said, just letting the name hang in the air.
"What? Jason, as in the football coach?! Jason, as in Lana's boyfriend?!" Lois was yelling now, and she had this puzzled look on her face that made Clark a bit worried because, he knew what question would be coming next.
"Why?" she said and Clark was silent for a moment. He would tell her the truth, just not the whole truth.
"He thinks I have some stone of knowledge." Clark said holding his breathe.
"Well, do you have it? she asked calming down a bit.
"No..." he lied. "But , he thinks that I do. I'm sorry Lois, I don't want to worry you, but I don't want to get hurt." Clark said gulping, surprised a bit that he said that.
"Clark," she turned him around by tugging on his shoulder. "It's okay." Then , she suddenly hugged him. Clark definately didn't expect this, but neither did she really.
"Thanks, Lois" Clark whispered.
"Your welcome ,Smallville" she grinned and punched him lightly on the shoulder. She walked over the cabinet and pulled out a small glass, then made her way to the sink and filled it up with water and took a drink.
When she was finished she sat the glass down. "Maybe we should stay at Chloe's tonight, he probably wouldn't suspect you to be there" Lois said looking over at Clark.
"Maybe, we should call first" Clark said. He was a bit worried about this plan, what if Jason harmed one of the girls, he would never forgive himself. But, surely Jason wouldn't look at Chloe's for him, so he agreed.
"No, I know for a fact Chloe won't mind" Lois said as she grabbed her coat and his keys and pulled his arm out the front door. Clark reached out his hand for the keys, but Lois just gave him a sarcastic glance and got in the driver's seat and started the car. Clark just shook his head and smiled to himself and sat down in the passenger seat as they took off down the road. The car stayed quite for a few minutes, then Lois turned to Clark.
"Ya know, I'll be there tomorrow" she looked back the road and then at him again. Clark raised his eyebrow in question, but then quickly caught on. "For your graduation, I mean." she avoided eye-contact and looked back at the road. "I know I give a rough time, Smallville.. I mean, Clark, but you and your family have been wonderful to me, and I don't know what I do without you." she smiled and finally looked him in the eye.
"Thanks Lois, ya know, I guess your not ...that bad." he said laughing. All of a sudden he yelled, "Lois stop!!" the car came to a screeching halt as Clark practically jumped from the car.

Lana fought slowly to open her eyes , everything around her was dim." Huhh.." she blinked a few times and opened her eyes more. Where was she? How did she get here? Lana could not recall. She put er hand to her face and felt liquid running down. Then, she slowly turned so as not to further complicate her injuries if she had any. There see gasped in shock to see Chloe head face down on the steering wheel. "Chloe!" Lana shrieked. She tried to shake it awake , but it was no use , Chloe would not wake up. "Chloe no !" Lana started to cry hard, and when she attempted to stop, she cried even harder. Finally Lana tried to open her car door, but there was no use, the door was jammed shut. But, just like fate, she saw the Kent truck coming down the road, she wiped her eyes and hoped Clark could make every okay again. "He always does", Lana said to herself smiling.

Lana layed her head back down , and waited for her prince to come rescue her from her fate once again. Clark ran to the the smashed up little bug with fear in his eyes. He couldn't see that well through the windshield, as it was also smashed pretty badly. He went to the passenger side and tried to open the door. But, he couldn't open it, not without using his powers. This was for Lana and Chloe, he thought, and with that he ripped the small door from its hendges , letting it drop to the ground beside the car. Just then Lois came up behind him.
"Clark.... uhh?" she just looked at the door and then up at him , in disbelief. Her eyes were as wide as saucers. Clark realized what she'd seen and quickly explained.
"It must have been loose from the crash" he shrugged his shoulders and turned back to saving the girls. Lois shrugged it off too, but was still a little confused. She headed over to get Chloe out of the driver's side.
As Clark looked at Lana, helpless, just laying there, he almost died. And for a moment, his heart stopped.
"Lana? Lana?! Can you hear me?" Clark put his hand behind her back to support it , and his other he placed softly on the tender skin of her face. He put his cheek to hers and then his tears began to fall. And even though Lois was there to witness Clark's breakdown, he didn't care who was watching. He loved Lana deeply, and it hurt him so much to see her hurt like this. Time seemed to stand still, as Clark stared at Lana while she lie there in his arms with her eyes closed lightly.
"Lana, please... if you can hear me" Clark whispered in her ear. "Hang on.. God please don't leave me" he was crying harder now. "I need you, Lana" Clark slowly pressed his lips to hers, hoping this wouldn't be their last kiss. Then he held her again. As he got up off the ground to carry her to the car. Clark heard a small whisper.
"Clark?" Lana whispered as she lighty couffed. Clark looked down at her now. He was never so happy in his life, nothing mattered more to him than her safty. He smiled at her in his sudden relief.
"Lana! Your alright!" he hugged her as he was still carrying her in his arms. Lana had heard everything Clark said. She knew it wasn't completely right to let him think she was unconcious, but at the same time , she wasn't sorry she'd done it. Clark loved her, and she had never been so happy in her life. She was truly in love. She smiled up at him.
"You're sweet" she whispered as she kissed him on the cheek. She wrinkled her nose and lowered her eyebrows in confusion. "What happened?" she asked, really not able to remember.
"I really don't know exactly" Clark said still not putting her down. "Me and Lois were just driving over to Chloe's house and we found you and Chloe in her car that was all smashed up. So, I'm assuming .. there was a reck" he said looking at her.
"The last thing I remember was , I was arguing with Chloe and .." she said as she was interrupted by Clark.
"Arguing? Arguing about what?" Clark asked concerned.
"Oh.. uhh" Lana said not sure what to say. She hated herself for slipping like that. "Nothing important, but then I heard a loud horn.. and the rest .. well there isn't anymore really, I just kinda woke up in your arms." Lana said smiling. Lana looked down and realized he was still holding her. He didn't really want to let go.
"Oh.. uhh.. sorry" Clark said not sure what to say, about to put her down.
"Hey, I'm not complaining" she said kissing his lips sweetly. After a moment they let both let go of the small peck, that had grown to a passionate lingering kiss. Lana smiled at Clark, and he smiled back. She gently ran her fingers through his dark hair. "I love you , Clark" Lana said looking deep into his eyes. "I want you to know that" she said still playing with his hair lovingly.
"I love you too" he said as he let their foreheads touch as they sweetly gazed into each others eyes.
"I don't mean to interrupt.. but" came Lois's voice from her car. She had already put Chloe in the back seat and had pulled up closer to Clark and Lana.
"Oh.. sorry" Clark said snapping out of his dream.
"Oh my God, Chloe!" Lana said jumping from Clark's arms and quickly opening the door to Lois's car. Clark quickly followed.
"We've got to get her to the hospital, something is really wrong.." Lois trailed off almost starting to cry. "She won't wake up." Lois quickly slammed on the gas and raced to the medical center. Lana had gotten lost in Clark and felt badly that Chloe had waited. "What if she doesn't make it because of me?" she thought to herself. She sat close to Clark in the back behind the seat where Chloe lay. Clark had his arms around her tightly and her head was resting on his chest as his chin rested upon her head. But, she wasn't thinking about Clark right now, all she could think of was her best friend. Possibly dying right infront of her. She started crying as she held Clark tightly.
"Clark" she sobbed. "This is my fault. If we hadn't been fighting.." her voice was shacky and Clark knew she was scared.
"No, Lana this isn't your fault." Clark said trying to comfort her the best he could. The truth is he really didn't know what went on. Clark held her tighter and tried to calm her down. Lois pulled up to the curb on the hospital.
"Clark, can you carry her? I know it will be quicker than me taking her." Lois hurried out of the car anyway.
"Yeah!" he said as he climbed out of the car and held Chloe in his arms as he rushed into the hospital. He ran to the nearest bed in a large hallway of the hospital. A nurse approached him.
"What's wrong with her?" the small red haired nurse asked.
"She was in a car accident, she's still breathing though!" Clark said breathing hard.
"What's her name?" she asked quickly.
"Chloe.. Chloe Sullivan" Clark scrambled , and tried hard not to make eye-contact with the nurse.
"Alright, I'm taking her to intensive care. We'll let you know something as soon as possible." at that she pushed Chloe down the large hallway with two swinging doors. Leaving Clark there wondering if that was the last time he would see his best friend alive. A tear rolled his cheek as he stood there completely still. He then felt a small comforting hand caress his back and then another tightly embrace him.
"She's going to be okay, Clark" Lana's sweet voice was soft and gentle. Clark felt so confused. So much happened, so fast. He took her tightly in his arms. He closed his eyes and concentrated hard.
"God.." Clark thought to himself, "please help Chloe hold on." and another tear fell from his eye.

Here's next post.. sorry I didn't post on time. My friend's dad died and I was with her all weekend. Anyway, here's the next post, tell me what you think.. _Alex ;)


"Excuse me" came a voice that Clark knew he'd heard before. "Are you here with..." she paused and looked down at her clipboard, "a Chloe Sullivan?" asked a blonde haired nurse, different from the one that had taken Chloe earlier. She looked up and looked him over once. Clark opened his eyes, coming out of his thoughts and prays.
"Uhh.. yes.." he looked down at the nurse still letting Lana hold him. "Is she alright? Do they know anything yet?" Clark asked concerned. The nurse looked down at her clipboard and looked up slowly.
"You better come with me" she said turnig to lead him down the long hall where they had taken Chloe. Clark turned back to Lois.
"You coming , Lois?" he asked as more of a demand than a question. She nodded and quickly followed behind the little nurse.
Clark walked down the hall with his hands at his side. They were getting sweaty now as he tightly clenched them. He had knots in his stomach, and he was sure he was going to lose it any minute now. He finally let his hands fall flat as the nurse left them at a room.
"I'm afraid you don't have much time" the nurse said looking glum. Lois whipped around quickly and shot a rude glare at the little nurse.
"What do you mean , we don't have much time?! Help her!" Lois started to cry as she yelled. She slammed her fists against the walls and groaned. And looked back at the nurse like she was going to attack her at any moment. The nurse gupled hard and looked back at Lois understandingly.
"She's still unconcious , ma'am" she answered back politely. "She has a savere concusion. The doctors have not yet declared her coma state yet, but..." she paused and looked down. "it's looking that way." She looked back up at Lois and gripped her clipboard nervously. "You can stay with her for a while, but I dont know for how long." Lois just stared at her, knowing there was nothing she could do. Lois turned at opened the door to Chloe's room.
"I'm sorry, she's just really upset. Thank you." Clark nodded at the nurse as she nodded back and walked down the hall in the other direction. He felt Lana take his hand in her's and slowly pull him closer to her. He held her in his arms as he watched Lois sit by Chloe's bed watching her sleep.
"She's going to make it Clark, Chloe's a fighter.." she paused "she'll make it through this." she whispered as she let a tear slip down her cheek. Clark knew Lana was trying to make him feel better. He knew Lana really felt guilty about what happened. He looked down at her and smiled a little. He looked her in the eye a moment , and she looked back. He softy kissed her cheek. He hugged her tightly and held her face to his.
"I know, she's going to be alright." they stay like this for a few minutes and then Clark pulled back. He took Lana's hand in his and slowly opened the door to where Chloe lay. As they walked in, Lois didn't even look up to acknowledge them. She was shaking and crying ,as she stared at Chloe.
"You have to wake up Chloe. I don't know if I can stand to lose you again." she said through her tears. Then she just sat there and continued staring at Chloe. Clark had only seen Lois cry once, and that was when they had thought Chloe died in the explosion. He didn't want to say anything to upset her more. He looked down at his watch.
"2:36 A.M. .... it's late!" he thought to himself. He slowly made his way behind where Lois was sitting and lightly tapped her on the sholder. "Lois?" he whispered calmly.
"Yeah",she asked as she turned around.
"Umm.. it's 2:30 in the morning , I think we should go home tonight. We can come back tomorrow morning." he said trying to put on a smile.
"I'm not leaving her." she said bluntly.
"Lois.. I think..." Clark started.
"I'll stay with her tonight. I'll sleep right here. I'll be fine, but I'm not leaving her." she said looking up at him.
"Alright.." he said with a sigh. "If you're sure... Me and Lana are gona head home. Call us if anything happens. I want to be here." he said sternly.
"Okay, I will. Will you be at the farm?" she asked questioningly.
"Yeah, I think we'll be fine there." she added. She handed him the keys and turned back to Chloe. Clark didn't expect any further responce from her so he lead Lana out of the room quietly and closed the door. When they were outside the room Clark turned to Lana.
"Do you want to come back to the farm with me tonight? Just so you don't have to be alone." he asked her with puppydog eyes.
"Yeah, that sounds fine." responded as she looked up at him. They walked hand in hand out the double-doors to the parking lot and got into Lois's car. Clark started the engine and pushed on the gas.
There was silence in the car for a few minutes, until Clark slid his arm around Lana's sholders. She blushed and giggled lightly as she turned to him and kissed his soft cheek.
"I have a confession to make." she said looking down at her shoes.
"Well, you've got my attendtion." Clark said looking at her with a smile.
"Uhh.. you know how we said we wouldn't read the letters we gave to each other until after graduation?"
"Yeah.." he said not knowing where she was going with this.
"Well, I sorta.." she stopped. "I kinda.." she paused again. "Well, I read your's tonight." she said covering her mouth and barrying her head in his chest out of immbarrassment.
"Lana Lang!" he said smirking at her and hugging her while he laughed. "Find anything interesting?" he said looking at the road.
"Actually, yeah." she said as she looked up at me and smiled. "I found out you were completely infatuated with me since you were a little boy." she smirked back at him and laughed.
"Oh yeah!" he said laughing too. "well, I read your letter too. And it seems to me, that someone has always been head over heals for Mr. Clark Kent." he looked at her smiling cocky. She smacked his arm and gasped.
"You didn't!" she covered her mouth.
"Oh yes I did!" he smiled that big Kent smile and pulled her close to him, as she pulled away playfully, but let him pull her into a kiss just as they pulled up to Clark's house. Lana didn't expect to fall into this kiss the way she did. She kissed Clark passionatley as they sat there in Lois's car. Lana climbed on top of Clark, wrapping her arms around his neck ,and having her legs on either sides of his. He moved his hands up and down her back, softly caressing her, as she gently ran her fingers through his dark hair. With her free hand Lana slowly slid her and up Clark shirt, rubbing his chest and feeling ever muscule move with ease. They continued kissing as Clark took one hand from Lana's back and opened the car door. He slid out carrying Lana as they continued to kiss. She wrapped her legs around his waist, and didn't stop to breathe, not yet. Clark made it to the front door , opening it ,while still completely taken by Lana and her unique beauty. He stepped inside still carrying Lana and kissing her passionately. He suddenly pinned her against the wall and kissed her intensely. He kissed he neck and that made her giggle a bit.
"Clark.. Clark.." she whispered as if she was in a trance.
"Yes, Lana?" he whispered back kissing her neck.
"Take me to your room." she ordered. Clark stopped kissing her for a minute , but still held her. He looked her right in the eye.
"Are you sure?" he asked making sure it was the right time.
"I'm ready Clark. I love you, and you're the only one I want to be with." she said shifting her eyes a little back and forth , to see if he approved. She kissed him. And he took her hand and lead her up the stairs to his bedroom and shut the door. He sat her down on the bed and began to kiss her again. She smiled and kissed him back. She sat back for a second and took a deep breathe. She raised up her arms and Clark slowly pulled her top over her head. She kissed him and then she pulled his shirt off too. Then he slowly slipped off her bra, as she unbuttoned his jeans. His skin felt warm and soft on her's. Time stopped right there for Clark, as all his dreams were coming true. He crawled up to her from the bottom of the bed kissing her stomach, then her neck, and finally her sweet lips. Then he stopped and looked deep into her eyes.
"I love you, Lana." he said completely serious.
"I love you too , Clark." she said as she pulled him into another kiss.

okay.. wow it's been a while since i've posted.. sorry about the delay.. tell me what you think.. and if i should continue writing other stories.. thanks for your patience.. this is the last chapter. If you'll notice I went back and edited Jason having Lana's green necklace, and made it meteor rock.. well thanks again.. i hope you like it.. I worked hard on this post.. so here ya go..

"Hhhhhh.." Lana was breathing hard now , gasping for breath as they fell deep into each other. Clark was breathing hard as well, he was smiling inside, he just couldn't believe this was really happening. Clark put his fingers around the rim of Lana's panties and tugged on them a lightly, slowly pulling them down as he kissed her softly Lana slid her hands in the back of his boxers and slowly pushed them down, but then she stopped. "Clark..hhhhh.." she whispered through her hard breathes. "Clark.." she repeated. He stopped and looked up into her eyes. "Wait.." she managed to get out.
"What is it?" he asked lovingly. Thier noses were touching and thier lips almost were too. Clark could feel Lana's hot breath on his , and all he wanted to do was kiss her again.
"There was something else in the letter.. something important.." Lana said rolling her eyes back and forth looking at him for an answer. Clark sat up in bed , leaving Lana lay beside him. She looked up at him, wondering if he remembered what he'd wrote those four years ago. She just lay there staring up at him, hoping and praying that he would finally let her in. Clark stared bluntly straight ahead of him.
"Does it have anything do with me being...." he paused a moment, wondering if this was even what Lana meant. "...different.." he finally let fall from his lips. Lana sat up next to Clark and slid her hand up his back. Then moved his to his chest feeling his intense abdomin muscules, and then to his chin. He was flexing his jaw. She held his face in her hand and close his eyes and savored her soft touch. She turned his head so that thier noses were almost touching.
"I don't care how different you are, you're my hero, and I will love you no matter who you are.." she took a deep breath in," I love you ,Clark" she whispered as a tear slipped from her eye. She pulled him close again and kissed him. When she finally pulled back, Clark didn't move . "Clark?" and then she realized. He was crying too.
"Lana," he said finally. "I'm sorry.. I'm sorry I never gave you a chance to know, I was just so ashamed. I didn't think you'd understand. But.. you deserve to know the truth.." he said as he turned to face her again.
"Brrrrrn Brrrrrn" came the phone from the kitchen. "Brrrrrn...Brrrrrn." Clark and Lana just stared at each other.
"I'd better get that." Clark said getting up off the bed pulling up his boxers.
"Yeah" Lana whispered coming out of her trance. Lana reached for her shirt on the floor and started to pulled it over her head.
Clark walked quickly down the stairs and into the kitchen. It was dark and on faint shadows cast the room off the moonlight shining. Clark ran to the receiver and picked it up frantically. It was making him nervous.
"Hello?" he asked.
"Clark! It's Chloe! She's having seziors! You've got to get down here, now!" screamed Lois from the other end of the line. "They don't know if she'll make it!"
"Okay ,Lois I know it's hard but try and stay calm, we'll be there as soon as we can." he hung the phone and put his hand on the counter. He lower his head and took a deep breath.
"What's the matter Kent? Girl problems?" he laughed as he said this. Clark raised his eyebrow and turned around slowly. There stood Jason with a gun pointing right for Clark.
"You just can't get it right, huh Kent." he said as he moved in closer through the kitchen door. Jason looked at Clark standing there in his boxers. "I didn't take you for someone you who play girls like that ,Clark." he said with a smirk.
"Jason put the gun down." Clark said sternly as he put his hand up.
"So, anxious to get back to that girl upstairs? I thought I heard something going on."he said starting to circle Clark. Clark backed up.
"Jason, don't do this."
"Too late ,Clark. It's already done."he holding his stare. "That better not be my girlfriend up there. For your sake I hope it's not."
"Clark? Who was it?" came Lana's voice from upstairs. Jason's eyes widened with rage. He was shaking and red as he cocked the gun.
"Bam!" the sound of the bullet penatrating the gun came loudly out the barrel stinging air, landing upon Clark's left shoulder, bouncing off.
"Hmm.." Jason said appearing infront of Clark almost imedietly, I almost forgot." he said as he pulled a larger meteor rock from his jacket pocket.
"AHhhhGHh!" Clark moaned and dropped to the floor in pain. "Ahh." he yelled.
"Hah.. I bet that hurts doesn't it?"Jason asked pursing his lips. He leaned over Clark now and brought his mouth to Clark's ear. "You just had to take her from me didn't you,Clark. Just couldn't help yourself... Well you've got what's coming to you.... Lana's mine."he said placing the rock on Clark's chest and cocking the gun again. "Say good night ,Kent." he said looking coldly into Clark's eyes.

But, suddenly his focus was broken , and his eyes went crossed as his knees buckled and fell to the ground. And behind him sootd Lana with and chair her hands. She let it drop to the floor . She dropped to her knees as rushed to Clark.
"What has he done to you?!" her breathing was shacky and she was about to cry.
"Lana, the meteor rock. I'm alergeic. You've got to get it away from me, please." Clark whispered so lightly she could barely hear. Lana picked up the meteor rock and ran outside. But, then Jason got back up with the gun. Clark was still weak, but got to his feet. Jason knew this and cocked the gun once more.
"She's mine"he said as the gun sounded and Clark flinched. He dropped to the floor and behind him stood Lex with a smoking gun. Clark had to blink twice , to believe this was real.
"Lex?"Clark asked with total ashstonishment. "What are you doing here?"
"No need to say thanks Clark, I think I just saved your life." Lex said sarcastically. He laughed and helped Clark up and he swung his arm around Clark and hugged him.
"Thanks Lex." Clark said with a smile as Lana came running back in and jumped into Clark's arms. She was kissing his cheeks and face all over, and running her hands through his soft hair.
"Are you okay?"she asked pushing her cheek against his.
"Yeah, I'm fine" Clark said with a smile."Oh my god! Chloe! Lana we've got to go."he said panacking taking her hand and running for the door.
"You two go ahead, I'll take care of this." Lex said staring at Jason obviously not dead body.
Clark and Lana ran to Lois's car and raced to the hospital. When they got inside they went passed all the nurses inspite of what they were saying ,and went straight Chloe room. They rushed through the door , only to find Lois sitting next to Chloe's bed as she slept.
"Is Chloe, alright?" Clark said with tears forming in his eyes.
"She's fine now, they said the seziors must have snapped her out of the coma. She's just resting now." Lois said half smiling. Clark could tell she was worried sick over her cousin, and also sleep deprived. Clark let out a sigh of relief.
"Can I sit with her a bit, give you a little break?" Clark asked putting his hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah.. I could really use so coffee." she said getting out of the chair. Clark sat down and Lana pulled up a seat next to him. Clark put his hand on Chloe's arm, and she slowly started to wake up. Then she opened her eyes.
"What happened?" she asked in a raspy voice.
"We were in a wreck, on our way over to Clark's," Lana paused, "and I guess you didn't see the car or something and.. well Clark and Lois found us. I was fine, but you wouldn't wake up.." she trailed off.
"But the important thing is you're okay, Chloe." CLark leaned in and hugged her. Lana did too right after Clark.
'You better get feeling better, Chlo. Graduation is in a few hours." she said with a laugh.
"We'll let you get some sleep." Clark said opening the door with Lana following close behind.
"That's not a bad idea,Clark"she said smiling. "and Clark..."
"Yeah" he said turning back to her, "Thanks for always being there." She smiled genuinly and he smiled back.
"I'm just glad you're okay.." he said turning back to the door.
"See you in a few hours" Lana said wiggling her fingers at Chloe. She said as she and Clark left the room and shut the door. Lois was sitting on a bench outside the room, drinking coffee out of a paper cup.
"Are you coming home with us?" Clark asked looking down at Lois. She looked up at him with gray bag under her eyes.
"I'd better stay 'till morning with her. I'll call when we are ready to leave, so you can come and get us." she said staring at him blankly, as he stood there in his boxers and a white t-shirt he had managed to throw on.
"Uhh.." Clark said embarrassed moving back behind Lana , but not touching her. He didn't want Lois to know anything happened. Lana herself had managed to throw on sweatpants and a kind of skimpy tank top, but that was no reason for Lois to suspect anything.
"Wait... you guys didn't..."he she started to smile, "You weren't.." but Clark interrupted her.
"Uhh. Lois " he said grabbing Lana's arm, "just call when you're ready." he said rushing down the hallway.
"Smallville.. you dog..." she said yelling after him.
When they got home, they went to the loft, even though Lex's car was no longer in the driveway, they thought it might be best. Hand in hand they walked up the stairs and sat down on the couch.
"What a night." Clark said laughing.
"Yeah, I could get used to all this excitement" she said smiling at him.
"So, about the letter." Clark said completely serious. "I well .. I.. Lana... I'm an .. alie.."but he stopped as she put her fingers to his lips.
"You can tell me tomorrow.... But, right now, just shut up and kiss me." she said smiling as she allowed him to pull her closer. He smiled then too, and kissed her.
And then he realized, this was the sunset he'd missed so many times. Yet, now it was dark, and near dawn. He realized, this was the sunset that had been so close but, always seemed to slip away. Well, he'd finally found it. It was new, and clean, and for once completely honest. And it was there all along.

The story was good. You have made a good start. It might help to have someone check for errors before you post. Sometimes there were words missing, or some misspellings. Personally, I'd prefer not so much detail in the make-out scenes; that's because I know of people as young as 10 who like to read these Clana stories, & I'd prefer to teach them that "true love waits". The story was very good, held my interest. I think you should keep writing.

hey! what!!! no keep the detail these stories seem ok to me, they aren't that detailed *cough*kind of* cough* these stories aren't as explicit as some of them on the clois boards that's for sure! i like 'em....as for the 10 yr olds(well don't know what to do with them)....wait....true love waits? waits for what? their honeymoon? ......personally i think that love is love, you can do it as long as you have a mature age and are ready to take on the responsability and not rush into things just because (in my opinion anyways:\)

btw...was that the last chapter? is it over already?!:( i am gonna miss it!!! it was a really good fic! great job! continue with the other fics!!! your an incredibly good writer!!! keep up the good work!;):D
