I was thinking about that to because it seemed like Lois was looking at the town at the one part and it was completely gone

It will likely be pretty devastated. I suspect that Lex will play a large role in helping the town rebuild. It would be a handy way for him to portray himself as a good-guy philanthropist, while actually increasing his/Luthorcorp's control and influence in the town. Meanwhile he'll be trying to figure out what happened in the caves.

I'm wondering if once Clark gets it together, probably with the FoS being built, will he be able to change history, recent though it may be, and negate the events that led to the meteor shower? Providing, of course, that this doesn't lead us to a "well, everyone's memory is erased, let's just continue as if nothing has happened..."

Is Clark supposed to change human history?
It would probably best if he didn't, though. If he did then he'd probably never bothered to unite the stones. The meteor shower is necessary because IMO it took a disaster of epic proportions to get Clark to fulfill his destiny, or at least some part of it.
If Clark goes back and changes the events that led to the meteor shower, he wouldn't have had the incentive to find the stones. Therefore if he went back and changed it something similar would have happened as greed would continue to drive other's to hunt them.

Amen, sister! It would be a paradox if CK went back in time to erase/change the event/person that caused him to go back in time in the first place.. plus, it's kinda an endless journey. He may choose to go back and save Martha's baby and all other mishaps but, in doing so he'd also be erasing himself as these decisions and events made him the man he is today.
