That could very well be Lana's cliffhanger, and this thread will be running all summer long lol. IMO we won't see what Lana's staring at but it won't be a meteor. I doubt she's just staring at destruction either, it really could be a wide span of things. She looks shocked and a little scared...but what could it be? IMHO it just might be Clark.

^^ don't get mad and FLAME me, but if your talking about when she's in the Copter I would think she is seeing one of the Meteor's hit. I would like to imagine her watching Clark ripping off his jacket and shirt and then we see the blue and then the bis "S" underneath...J/Kidding.. On the reals though I would like to imagin Lana seeing Clark saving the earth from one of the Meteors, but we are to belive he has that propostition when he visits Jorel in the caves.. either way I hope it is something good and shocking

It could very well be just another meteor that Lana is looking at. When the chopper was going down, she might not have been sure what exactly was happening. Then when it crashed and she crawls over to the crater and sees the meteor, glowing green, she realizes that it's the same thing that happened 16 years ago when her parent's died. That would of course make Lana surprised and scared, which would account for the look on her face. But, that's just my speculation, it could be just about anything. It'd be cool if it was the same meteor that killed her parents and it said "I've come back for YOU, Lana!! Muah ha ha haaa!!!!!!"

Anyway, on a side note, I think it being kryptonite meteors is stupid. I mean, Krypton is destroyed, why would there be more K crashing down 16 years later? Unless it just happened to be further behind the first meteors (since we know that Clark was in space for years) but even if it was, the chances of the shower happening in exactly the same town, SV, as it did 16 years ago, is very very very VERY slim. It's just retarded, is what it is. But, I've come to expect no less from the wonderful crew of writers over at the Smallville lot. It would be so awesome if she saw clark about to get by the meteor and she saw him standing there and shes yelling in the helicopter. We hear a line like

"No not again!"

and she screams his name then it hits him and shatters and thus the shocked look!!!!!!!

I doubt it, because the crater seems to be glowing green, which indicates kryptonite meteors (again, *sigh*... see my above post) and if Clark got hit by green K meteors, I doubt he'd survive, much less have the rock crack over him and leave him standing unscathed. ~Karie
