Chloe and Lana Switch Bodies

Chapter 1

Lana walks into the talon and finds Chloe crying, with her face buried in her hands. Lana can bearly hear what Chloe is murmuring.

Lana: "Chloe? I'm here. What's wrong?"

Chloe: "Nothing! Leave me alone. I just want to be alone for awhile."

Lana:"Don't be rediculous. You'll feel better if you talk to me."(Lana looks at her very concerned)

Chloe: (looks up at Lana) ' Her compassion, I didn't know she had it in her.'

Chloe: You're so lucky Lana. You have everything. Why are you still unhappy? Clark's still in love with you.

Lana: "Chloe...what are you talking about? You have a great life."

Chloe: "I guess...but "(another tear falls down her face)I'll talk to you later okay?"

Chloe:(leaves the Talon)

Clark: I can't believe we're going on another field trip to luthor corp.

Chloe: Yea, me neither. The last time we came you and Alicia got stuck in that elevator!

Clark:( Looks down at his feet in sorrow)

Chloe: I'm sorry Clark. I didn't mean to.

Clark: That's okay...

Lana: Hey guys! Is Lex here?

Chloe: I have'nt seen him.

Lana: Oh, looks like the tour is starting.

(2 hours later)

Chloe: Are you guys bored yet?

Clark: Do you have to ask?

Chloe: I guess not. Do you guys want to have a look around...you know, our own tour of the plant?

Lana: Chloe....I don't know about this.

Chloe: Come on, please. I heard they're conducting a new experiment in the back room.

Clark: "I don't think we should be back here Chloe."

Lana: "I have to side with Clark on this one."

Chloe: "There is nothing to worry about. Everythi....

She was interrupted by a lod blast and a blinding light.

(15 min. later)

Lana: Chloe...Clark? Are you guys alright? Can you hear me?

Clark: "I'm fine, where's Chloe?"

Chloe:"I'm okay." I can't see a thing in here."
(they all walk into the hallway)

Chloe: What the ****. What's going on ...

Lana: Puts her hand over her mouth before Clark can see them.

Chloe:"Clark, we're going to go to the ladies room,okay."

Lana: (nodds nervously)

Clark: "Sure, I'll wait for you here."

(ladies room)

Lana: OMG! what happened? Okay...okay..we can't panic, Chloe.

Chloe: How are we going to pretend to be eachother,what if we're stuck like this? We have to tell Clark.

Lana: No, we shouldn't tell Clark. This should be between you and I.

Chloe: Okay, fine.

(lana leaves the ladies room)

Chloe admires Lana's reflection in the mirror.
Chloe: 'Maybe it won't be so bad being Lana for awhile. Clark's finnallly in love with ME. "

(she skips oyt of the ladies room happily)

(that night at the sullivan's)

Lana: "what am I supposed to do? I can't write for the Torch, or pretend to be Chloe at all!"

(lays down on Chloe's bed)

Lana: "I wonder how Chloe's taking this."

(that night in Lana's room)

Chloe: " I cannot believe I get to be Lana Lang...it has a nice sound to it...Lana Lang..."

(goes through lana's clothes and pauses when she sees a shirt that lana never even wears.)
It was a midrift-bearing, pink top.

"Why doesn't she wear this? Half the school would be drooling over her." I'd bet Clark would like it the most."

(she puts the shirt down on the dresser and looks for a pair of jeans)

"Lana never wears this either."

(she holds up a short denim skirt and smiles)

"Tomarrow I'm the girl of Clark's dreams!"
(she falls asleep with a picture in her mind and a smile on her face)


(the next day at school)

Lana: (awkwardly walks into school, not sure what to do or say.)

Chloe: (walks into school and she can feel everyone's stares)
(she walks away from Lana when she sees her)

Chloe: "she can't see how I'm dressed!" (she walks quickly down the hallway)

Just as Chloe was running away from Lana, she runs into Clark.
Clark stares. He looks concerned.

Chloe:"I'm sorry Clark, I was just going to work on a new article for the Torch." (gasps)

Clark:"Huh.."

Chloe:"It's nothing."
She walks into her office and sits down at the computer.

Clark:"Lana, what are you doing?"

Chloe:"I...was.. I don't know."
(laughs nervously)

Clark:"Someone's acting strange today."

Chloe:"You're not kidding." She sits down on the love seat.
"What do you think of my new look Clark?"

Clark looks at her strangely.
"You look great, but..... only if you like it....I...

Chloe:"Why don't you come here and sit next to me?"
She suductively crosses one leg over the other.

Clark:"Sure, why not. Lana are you feeling alright. You're kind of acting..like

Clark:"you're acting like you've been infected by the Nicodemus flower again." Maybe I should take you to the hospital."

Chloe:(looks at him in disbelief)
"Maybe later, but right now I have some unfinnished business to take care of."

Clark:"What's thAT?"

CHLOE: (slides closer to Clark)
"Like you and me. I thought you liked me better this way Clark. I'm just showing you another side of me that you're not used to...but eventually I know you'll grow to like it. Won't you?"
(she puts her hand on top of his and slides closer)

Clark:(can't say a word)

Chloe:"I don't bite Clark, you know that."
(she twirls a piece of her hair in her tiny fingers)

Clark:Lana...I ...I thought we..

Chloe:"Shhh...don't say a word.
(she puts her finger to her lips and gets up. then, she sits on top of his lap)

Clark:"Lana, I don't think this is such a good idea. Not that I don;t like it, but..shouldn't we do this someplace else?"

Chloe: "Why? It's just you and me. We're all alone. I know that you don't want me to leave. so, I'm not going anywhere."

She quickly brings his mouth to hers and kisses him passionately.

Just as they were doing so, a teacher walks in.
"Shouldn't you two be in class right now?"


Clark and Lana stare in amasement.

Chloe: "Yea. well, what if we don't want to leave?"

Clark: "speak for yourself Lana." he whispers under his breath as he walks away.

Chloe stands alone and stares wickedly at the teacher as she slowly walks to class.

(that day at the Kent farm)

Clark walks in to the house and sits down to do his homework.

Martha had just gotten a phone call from the principal and his second period teacher complaining that he was late for class. They both mentoned that Clark and Lana had been skipping together in Chloe's office.

Martha:"So, what'd you and Lana do while you were skipping class together?"

Clark:"Uhhh....we were...talking."

Martha:"You couldn't have done that after class?"

Clark:"There's something more important I need to talk to you about."

Martha:"What is it Clark?"

Clark:"Lana is acting strange again. I think she's been infected by the Nicodemus flower again."

Martha;"Why would you think that?"

Clark:"She tried to seduce me."
(he looks away from his mom in embarassment)

Marhtha:"Oh, I see. that doesn;'t seem like the way Lana would act."

Clark:"I'm going to try to take her to the hospital tomarrow."

Clark:"Yea, she's acting really strange."

Pete:"So, you think she'll go to the hospital with you?"

Clark:"Maybe...If I know HER weekness."

Pete:"You've got that look in your eye again. It scares me."

Clark:"I'll see you later."
Clark walks to Lana's locker. Then, suddenly Chloe jumps inbetween them.

lana:"Clark, I need to talk to you. It's important."

Clark:(pulls her aside)
"What is it Chloe?"

Lana:"Well, you see..."

Chloe:"Oh, Clark....

Clark turns his head automattically.

Lana:thinks to herself, "Now I know what Chloe meant when she said Clark is always first to help me."

Lana:"Clark...

Chloe:(looks at Lana as if to say "I told you so".)
"Clark, don't we still have that unfinnished business to attend to? Isn't what I have to say important."She says this in an innocent voice that she knows Clark can't resist. She looks at him with her big, hazel eyes and batts her eyelashes.

Clark:"Sorry, Chloe I'll have to talk to you later."

(they both walk away)


Lana:"I cannot believe how unfair this is. Poor Chloe."
She says this with an eerie understanding. No wonder she was jealous. She had to appologise later.

(later in Clark's loft)

Clark:"Okay, my parents aren't home. They won't be home until tomarrow morning. If you want you can stay, I could make dinner."

Chloe:"Sure, that sounds great. thanks.

Clark:"you're very welcome."

Chloe:"So, what do you wan to do?"

Clark:"I don't know, do you wan to work on our homework?"

Chloe:"I had something else in mind."
She said with a mischievious look in her eyes and smile.

(the kents at the Luthor manchion)

Martha:"We have to keep this a secret. If someone tells Clark, it will ruin everything."

Lex:"You think Clark will find out from Pete?"

Johnathon:"Nah, he knows how to keep a secret."
(looks at Martha)

Martha: Thanks for helping us Lex. We couldn't have done all this without you."

Lex:"No problem. Anytime."

(back in Clark's loft)

Clark has his shirt taken off and Lana is on top of him on the couch. Clark kisses her passionately and Lana does in return. Clark couldn't have imagined a more perfect night. Him,Lana and no distractions.




Chloe: Wow! I never knew what you were capable of, Clark!

Clark:"I'm finding it hard to believe myself. Thanx for coming tonight. You can stay as long as you'd like."


Chloe:"i think I want to stay the whole night."


Clark:"you mean....

Chloe:"Yea, I want you Clark."
she puts her hand through his hair.






Just as she was saying this, in comes Lana.

lana:"Clark.. I'm sorry...i didn't mean to interrupt."

Clark:"No, wait, what did you want to tell me, chloe?"

Lana turns around to answer Clark , but turns back around to leave whe he sees her crying.

Clark walks over to her.
Clark:"I've been meaning to tell you that me and Lana were together again, but....

Lana:"You mean you've been with Chloe."

Clark:"What?"

Lana:"You heard me! Me and Chloe sort of...switched bodies."

Clark looks at her strangely and watches in shock as Lana and Chloe duke it out.

Okay, just for you guys! I'll try tog finnish it for you NYC300Z, because you're leaving tomarrow.

Chloe runs over to Lana and pushes her over the couch.
"I told you that we shouldn't tell clark!"

Clark:"Why not?"

Chloe:"Just shut up Clark"
she glares at him for a long while then she sees that Lana is getting up.

Lana:"Chloe, what's gotten into you?"
She whipes the blood off of her forehead.

Chloe:"I'm gonna make you wish you were never born Lana. Everything was going to be PREFECT!"
Just as Lana gets up, Chloe punches her hard in the mouth.
Lana winces in pain,but gets up in time to throw a punch at her.
Chloe instantly grabs the nearest object, a glass, a was just about to smash it on Lana,when Clark grabs it from her hand.
Chloe:"How'd you?"

Clark:"Chloe, stop! I know that you've always been jealous of Lana, but you can't get your revenge! I can't believe that you would fool me like that!"

Chloe unclenches her fists and looks at Clark. She can't get out of this one. She looks down at her bloody hands and realises what she's done.
"I think I've made my wall of weird this time. I've also done way more than that, I've hurt you...and Lana. I guess all I can say is that I'm soo Sorry. I ought to go. I'm sure there's a lot for you guys to talk about."

Chloe turns to walk away and leaves in complete silence.
Lana and Clark look at eachother in pure disbelief.
Lana's bottom lip begins to quiver and Clark embraces her as if to rid her of her pain. Lana sobs in Clark's arms and feels completely safe.

Clark whispers in her ear,"It's okay Lana. Everything's going to be fine. I'll never let Chloe...or anyone hurt you again. I promise."

Lana looks into Clark's beautiful eyes.
"I just can't believe she would do this. I never knew she was so jealous..If I would have known...I"

Clark:"You don't have to do anything,but I do. She's upset because I don;t love her. I don't think I ever could."

Lana:"You shouldn't have to do anything either. Chloe just needs some time."
She rubs Clark's shoulder reassuringly.

Clark:"I think you're right, thanks."

Lana:"Anytime you need to talk to me, I'll be around. You've helped me so much. I want to do the same for you."

This time Clark gets a kiss from the real Lana. He doesn't even mind that they're Chloe's lips. He had already kisses Lana's earlier.
Clark began to chuckle,"I hope this never happens again."

Lana:"Me too."

Clark:"I'm going to talk to Chloe tonight."

Lana:"Okay, well I should leave. Thank Clark."
She smiles beautifully and leaves.

(later that night)

Clark decides to finnally call Chloe.

Clark:"Hey, Chloe."

Chloe:"Hi."

Clark:"I didn't call to yell at you anymore. I'm sure Mr. Sullivan has taken care of that."

Chloe:"Yea, then what did you call to talk about?"

Clark:"Us. I'm sorry Chloe. I can't make my feeling for Lana just disappear. We almost had something and it was great, but I'm sure you'll find a guy a lot better than me."

Chloe:"Without a doubt!"

Clark:"Thanx." He says in a sarcastic voice.

Chloe:"I'm just kidding. Clark, trust me, I don't want to love you, but I do. I can't help it. I'm really sorry I freaked out. It'll hurt a little,but I don't mind if you and Lana go out. I won't try to kill her. I promise."

Clark was suprized by the serious tone in her voice when she made that last statement.

"I'm glad you're feeling better."

Chloe:"Thanx, you and Lana maybe wanna go out with Pete and I, just as friends?"

Clark:"Sound great!"

Chloe:"WEll, I should go. Goodbye."

Clark hung up the phone and laid down on the couch. He was getting pretty tired, because of all the exctement. Just as her was about to fall asleep her remembered what his parents had asked him earlier. "So, what'd you and Lana do while we were gone?" Clark chuckled to himself as he fell asleep. As he slept, his memory replayed like a tape in his mind. He would sleep well tonight.

Yea, I thought it would be assummed that they eventually got switched back. Totell you the truth, I don't know how they would be switched back. That was a good question. I'm sure a lot of people were wondering the same question.

I'm glad everyone liked it so much.

In awhile I'm starting the third one that I'm still working on.
