Here is another story I wrote. Let me know what you think.
Disclaimer: Don't own dah characters.
Chapter 1
“Your destiny Kel-el. It is your DESTINY, and you MUST follow it!” Jor-el commanded.
“NO!” Clark shouted, standing in the middle of a corn crop looking back into the sky. “I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I’ll NEVER! Be who you want me to be!” He shouted angrily into the sky.
“Then all whom you love and care for shall pay for your choice.” Jor-el’s voice boomed. A large wind stated kicking up dust all around Clark.
“No!” Clark replied shielding his face from the flying dirt.
“It is to late my son. You have made your choice,” Jor-el stated. “Now see the consequences of your actions unfold!”
“NO!” Clark shouted again and using his super speed ran back to his home.
Clark threw open the front door. “Mom Dad!” he called out searching the house frantically for his parents.
“Out back son.” Jonathon called cheerfully. Clark ran out to find his parents loading vegetables into the back of the Kent truck.
“Are you alright?” Clark asked his voice filled with concern.
“Of course we are sweetheart, why wouldn’t we be?” Martha Kent replied her eyes full of worry about her son’s odd behavior.
“It’s Jor-el.” Clark began. “He confronted me once again about my destiny, but I still disag….” Clark couldn’t finish.
His eyes grew wide as a funnel cloud came out of nowhere. It touched the ground not thirty yards from them. Jonathon followed his son’s gaze.
“Martha, run to the storm shelter!” he yelled pushing his wife toward it. Clark watched his body full of unbelief. With super speed he ran and picked up his mother.
He began running her to the shed. “Jonathon!” He heard his mother sob. Clark turned to see his father holding onto the truck, his legs flying up towards the twister.
“Dad!” he called out setting his mother down far from the twister he sped for his Dad. Just before reaching his father a second funnel cloud appeared three feet from his Mother. “NO!” he cried and watched as she disappeared.
He began to run after her when he heard his father cry out, “CLLLAARRRKK!!!” Clark tuned to see his father sucked into the first twister. Clark stood in the midst of the two storms. He went after his mother first, but as he approached the twister, it flew back into the air and was gone.
He searched for his mother among the junk left from the twister, but she was gone. Clark remembered his father and ran towards the original twister. Yet just as he approached the twister, it too flew back into the air without a trace. Clark used his x-ray vision searching for his parents. They were gone.
Within minutes the storm came, within seconds his parents were gone. Clark looked up into the sky. “WHY!” hey yelled and began to sob. “You made the choice, you caused them to be taken from you…from your life….from your destiny.” It came as a stern and steady voice. “It isn’t over yet.” Jor-el’s voice echoed across the Smallville sky.
In seconds Clark understood he ran with super speed to try and protect the other three people he cared most for. Pete, Chloe, and Lana.

Hey this is a long update, hope you all enjoy thanks for reading:D
Clark sped to the Talon, hoping to find Lana there, and if he was lucky Pete and Chloe too. Yet his hopes fell as he walked in to find Nina working instead of Lana, with Pete and Chloe nowhere to be found. Clark was out of there before anyone could acknowledge him.
He couldn’t waste time searching everywhere with normal eyes. He ran down the streets of Smallville stopping here and there using his z-ray vision. Still no luck. Clark sped down to smallville high, and used his x-ray vision. “Nothing in the gym, library cafeteria,” Clark thought. Then it hit him; he could have smacked himself for being so dumb.
“No kid in their right mind would be at the school, unless you were the Editor of its hot newspaper.” He thought. He zeroed his vision in on the torch and found three bodies. One at the computer with the other two standing around them. “That has got to be them!” Clark’s mind screamed. He took of with his super speed and burst into the torch. Breathing heavily he scanned the room.
“Hey Clark!” Chloe said upon his entrance, “Nice of you to finally join us.” She said sarcastically giving him a sly grin.
“Clark Man, you okay?” Pete called noticing Clarks shocked face. Yet Clark wasn’t looking at either of them. His eyes were glued to the girl on the other side of Chloe.
“Take a picture it will last longer buddy,” she scoffed turning her attention back to the computer screen.
Chloe laughed. “Lois, meet Clark Kent, Clark this is my cousin Lois Lane.”
Clark Finally tore his eyes away from Lois. “Where…Where is Lana?!?” He cried out frantically.
Chloe looked hurt. “Obviously not here Mr. Kent!” She bitterly replied.
“Clark, what’s up man?” Pete asked walking toward Clark. Clark’s head was spinning. He had now idea how to explain what was going on.
“Just stay inside Pete, all of you just stay inside. I will explain later.” Clark walked out the door, and jogged down the hall to make sure no one saw his super speed. He made sure he was around the corner before using it.
“Is he always that social?” Lois asked.
“Welcome to the world of the man and mystery Clark Kent.” Chloe replied pouring herself once again into her work. She stared into the computer screen trying to hide her pain. Pete noticed the chord starting to smoke, and then sparks began to fly.
Pete ran over to her.“Chloe look out!” he cried, but it was too late, the computer exploded throwing Chloe into the corner, and spitting flames around the room. Pete was thrown in the opposite direction. Books, boxes, papers, and other junk was thrown around the room in the rumble of the explosion.
Meanwhile Clark super sped out of the school.
He stood there for a moment trying to figure out where Lana could be.
“CLARK!” he heard an unfamiliar voice call. He turned to find Lois Lane hanging out the window. “Clark! Help!” she called out between two loud deep coughs. Clark looked at her, trying to figure out what was going on. Then the smoke began to rise and he could see the flames dancing through the window, and he understood what was happening.
“No not again!” he thought. He ran back into the school, than super sped to the torch. He looked around frantically. Lois was still hanging out the window unaware he had entered. He used his x-ray vision and found Chloe under some papers in the corner.
With his super speed he threw the junk from off of her. She was covered with dust and bleeding. “Chloe?” he cried out picking her up. Her eyes fluttered open. “Cl…ar…k?” she forced out. Her eyes shut quickly and her body grew limp “No Chloe, hang on, your going to be alright!” he declared.
He heard a moan from across the room among the flames. “Pete!” he called out. He used his x-ray vision and found a crumpled body under some more trash. Using super speed he ran and put Chloe out in the hall for safety and gently lay her down.
As he ran through the flames his jacket caught fire, but he didn’t care, he needed to save his friends. He ran back through the fire and went to Pete’s aide. He quickly dug his best friend out. “Pete, everything is going to be okay.” He softly commented.
He turned around to check on Chloe, but at that same instant some flames consumed her poor tiny body. “No!” Clark ran to find her, but nothing was there. Not even ashes, it was as if there had been no fire at all. His jacket was still on fire along with his pants, but he couldn’t feel a thing so he ignored it.
“Chloe is gone now, and it is all my fault!” He thought. He stood there in the spot she had been blaming himself when suddenly flames consumed Pete, and in an instant they were gone Pete and all.
“Please No!” Clark screamed. He used his x-ray vision to search the whole room but it was useless Pete and Chloe had disappeared.
He looked up his eyes full of anguish and sorrow. They met up with a pair of frightened yet curios eyes. Lois Lane stared through the flames at Clark in disbelief.
“How did you…What did you… Where did they….” She asked in shock of what had happened.
“Lois, we have to get you out of here!” He shouted from across the room. He watched as he eyes rolled into the back of her head. He super sped to her and caught her before she hit the ground. He took a deep breath and ran back out of the torch.
He sped to the Smallville hospital He was going to take her inside, but he knew Lana was in danger somewhere. He gently set Lois down outside of the emergency room and called for some doctors. He checked to make sure no one was looking and sped off through the streets of Smallville.
“You brought this one yourself Kal-el.” A voice whispered along the breeze. “Soon you will be all alone!” Jor-el seemed to mock him.
Clark didn’t say anything back, he couldn’t the only thing on his mind was to find Lana before it was too late.

Here is the next part, hope you all like!
Clark sped back to the Talon in hopes of finding Lana, or at least to see if she had dropped by, but his hopes fell as he saw Nina still in charge. “Nina have you seen Lana?!” Clark blurted out.
“No sorry, she took the afternoon off. Are you okay Clark, so seem kind of worried.”
“Do you know where she is?” He asked, ignoring her question, his eyes pleading with her for information.
“Well she did say something about riding.” Nina answered as she turned to fill up some mugs with coffee.
Clark didn’t wait for her to finish, the second she turned he looked around to make sure no eyes were on him, and super sped to Lana’s favorite place to ride. It was empty. He turned and was ready to super speed off to another field when he heard the sound of a horse running.
He turned around and saw Lana riding up in the distance toward him. As the horse galloped closer and closer, to Clark Lana became more and more beautiful. Lana looked over and saw Clark; she gave him a smile and slowed the horse down a bit. She was still thirty feet from Clark when he horse came to a stop. She looked down at the horse curiously.
“C’mon girl, let’s go see Clark,” she coaxed while gently kicking the sides of the horse. The horse stayed put. Clark wasn’t sure what was going on.
“Lana?” He called out towards her. Lana looked up and shrugged.
“C’mon girl!” she coaxed once more and kicked a bit harder. Clark watched as Lana’s eyes filled with horror. The horse began to go wild; trying to throw Lana off it’s back. Lana held on for dear life. The horse finally calmed down, and Clark watched Lana relax a bit. He watched as she looked up at him and smiled.
She began to slowly climb of the horse when it began to go wild and throw her off once more. Clark watched as Lana began to sail through the air. “LANA!” he screamed. He went into super speed and caught her in his arms. “Clark?!?” she looked at him her eyes full of questions.
The horse continued to buck and kick coming closer. Clark set Lana down on the ground, and laid down on top of her as the horse began to stomp on his back.
“Clark NO!!” Lana cried tears filling her eyes. The horse finally calmed down, and galloped away into the trees. Lana wrapped her arms around Clark’s motionless body. She buried her face into his shoulder and let the tears soak into his shirt.
Clark couldn’t help but smile a bit at the feeling of her arms around him.
“Lana,” he whispered, “we need to talk.” Clark said bringing his face just inches away from hers.
“Clark?….But…What…” Lana’s voice stuttered Then she did something that surprised both of them, she brought her lips to his and kissed him gently. Clark was in shock, but gently kissed her back. Lana pulled away and smiled coyly up at him. Clark couldn’t help but grin. He stood up and slowly pulled Lana up after him.
“We…we really need to talk Lana.” She looked at him, but didn’t speak just simply nodded. Clark wrapped his arms around her in a big hug. “Don’t worry, everything is okay.” He whispered comfortingly while gently rubbing her back.
“I know Clark, I know because I have you, thank-you. OH!” she gasped suddenly. “I have to go find Sugar, she wasn’t mine I was only taking her for a ride.” She broke from Clark’s grasp and ran after the horse.
Clark looked at her and smiled; yet within a few moments his thoughts and worries of what had happened through the day came back. “Lana Wait!” He shouted across the field.”
Lana turned and smiled. “Don’t worry Clark, I will be back, and then we can talk.” She turned and ran a few more feet before turning around slowly.
“Clark I…I…I Love you!” she called to him smiling nervously. Clark stared back at her, not believing what he had just heard when it finally hit him he gave her a grin and yelled at the top of his lungs. “Lana Lang I Love…” He couldn’t finish.
From the sky came a giant shape. As he watched it more closely he realized it was a single meteor rock. His eyes tried to watch it’s path and he realized it was speeding straight for Lana. “NO!” he cried for the millionth time that day. He began to super speed towards Lana, but as he got close, his body began to fill with pain and sickness. He fell down to the ground watching in horror as the rock slammed down where Lana had been standing. He forced enough strength out of his body to roll far enough away from the rock that it didn’t affect him.
Clark jumped up and searched the field for a sign of Lana, but nothing was there.
“LANA!” he screamed, but received only the answer of a few birds chirping. “LANA!” he called out once more, but again there was no answer.
Clark fell to his knees. “WHY!” he screamed into the cloudless blue sky. “WHY! They were innocent!”
“This was not my fault. I warned you Kal-el. You brought this on them yourself.”
Clark looked up his eyes full of tears. He screamed his voice so full of pain. He screamed so loud and long that anyone on the face of the earth could hear him.
“Clark….” He brought his head down and frantically searched the field, but no one was anywhere near him. “Clark….Clark…Wake up sweetheart!” His eyes slowly fluttered open. “Clark!” Martha Kent cried and flung her arms around him.
“Mom? You’re…..you’re here, and you’re okay?” Clark asked feeling a bit dazed. “I am fine Clark!” Martha replied holding her son.
“You gave us quite the scare son.” Jonathon spoke from above his wife. “Dad?” Clark asked again coming a bit back into the reality of what was happening.
“Yes, son. You must have had quite the nightmare. You woke us up screaming such a loud and painful scream. We thought something had happened. We jumped out of bed and rushed up here, but found you screaming in your sleep.” His father explained.
Clark relaxed a bit trying to take it all in. “It was all just a dream. Mom and Dad are safe, Pete and Chloe didn’t die, Lois and Lana didn’t see me using my abilities, and Lana……………” His heart sunk a bit at his thoughts. “Lana didn’t kiss me, or tell me she loved me, at least she didn’t die either.”
Okay, so I had this written before hearing anything about the Season Finale, so if something to this effect happens, I didn't copy them they copied me :D

Nope that was not even close to being the end of the story, that was just chapter one...a long chapter one.:D Here is the next part
Clark sat up on his computer researching dreams. “Was it a sign of what was t come? Was it a warning?” Clark thought to himself.
“Clark you’re going to be late again!” Martha Kent called up.
She turned to face her husband. “Jonathon, he has never had a nightmare before in his life!” She whispered her voice full of concern. “He is so different, and things happen for weird reasons for him. What if his dream meant something?” Her body shuddered at the thought.
Clark had told them all about his dream after they woke him up screaming.
Jonathon was drinking some orange juice and looking out the window across his farm. “I don’t know Martha,” he turned and walked over to his tender wife and placed his arms around her waist. “But I do know he is our son, and a smart good boy.” He kissed her on the forehead. “Now sweetheart, what’s for breakfast?” He asked changing the subject. “I know Jor-el, he would threaten Clark with a dream like this, but would he truly go through with something that terrible?” He thought.
He caught his wife giving him a curious look. He quickly smiled and sat down at the table.
Clark was still up at his computer he entered “The meaning of dreams” into his internet search engine, and waited. “I can do things 10 times faster than any human or machine, yet when it comes to our computer it does things 10 times as slow.” He thought annoyed at the time he was wasting waiting.
“Clark! Come down now or you’ll miss breakfast and be late!” He heard his mother call once more. “Coming!” but he turned his head back to the computer screen. “Come On!” he growled at his computer. He raised his hand up to smack the side of it. He stopped a few inches before making contact remembering what he had done to his old computer in the same situation. He dropped his hand and waited getting all the more aggravated.
“Clark Now!” he heard once more. Clark stood up to make his way downstairs, but realized he was still in his pajama pants. He went into his super speed mode. He hopped into the shower, brushed his teeth, changed his clothes, and was downstairs within seconds.
His Dad was sitting down at the table reading the latest news, while his mom was at the stove cooking waffles. “Hey Mom, hey Dad.”
“Hey son, what took you so long, you’ve been up for such a long time,” Jonathon Kent joked with a twinkle in his eyes.
“Oh I jus stopped to notice the wonderful sounds and smells of the farm.” Clark retaliated.
“Well if you’re done admiring, can you please give me a hand, the stove isn’t heating up very well this morning,” Martha interrupted.
Clark laughed and headed over to the stove. “Watch the pro,” he teased. He concentrated and used his heat vision to cook up the rest of the waffle. “Now, was that really as hard as you made it seem?” He asked his mother. She gave him a playful slug and nudged him towards the table.
“I cook breakfast and all I get is a punch in the arm and a push?” he teased acting offended.
“You had better stop complaining and eat, or you’ll be late for school.” Martha Kent smiled at her son. “At least he seems to be over his dream, and moving on.”
Clark took his time eating his breakfast and getting lost in his thoughts. “At least the dream wasn’t a total nightmare. Lana told me how she felt, and I nearly told her, she knew my part of my secret, and we had….kissed!” A slow grin played across his face.
“Son, get your head out of the clouds, and get to school.” Jonathon called as he headed out the door. “Martha, I will be out working on the harvest.” He left letting the screen door shut behind him.
Martha turned to Clark and smiled. “What on earth has you grinning like a school boy?”
“Mom, I am a school boy.” He chuckled and went back upstairs. He grabbed his books and stuffed them into his bag, he noticed the computer had finally loaded up the results. “five hundred hits? I can’t wait for even one of those to load up. I’ll just sneak off to the torch and use Chloe’s computer.” He thought as he shut of his computer.
“Clark, someone’s here to see you.” His mother’s voice echoed up the stairs.

Here is the next post.
Clark figured that it was Pete or Chloe picking him up for school, so he headed down the stairs. He found Lex Luthor sitting at the kitchen table sipping some orange juice. He and Lex met when Clark saved his life, they had become fast friends and lately as close as brothers.
“Hey Lex, what’s up?” Clark asked as he walked down the last few steps.
“Clark hey, I noticed the bus leaving without you, so I stopped to see if you wanted a ride.”
“Hey Lex that is very nice of you, but…. It’s a pretty nice day; I think I will just walk.” Lex gave him a peculiar look.
“Alright, I’ll join you for a bit.”
Martha Kent was startled; she knew that Clark usually used his super speed to get to school. “ Now he will be late!” She frowned at the thought.
“Oh…Okay Lex, sounds good!” Clark was surprised but sensed that there was something Lex wanted to talk about. “Later Mom!”
“Thanks for the Orange Juice Mrs. Kent.”
Martha nodded, “your welcome, bye you two.”
Clark and Lex walked down the dusty road, there was quite a difference between them. If someone had been walking down the street, they wouldn’t have suspected a friendship between them. Lex had on shiny black shows, freshly ironed black pants, and a white wrinkled free shirt. He had a long dark trench coat on that flowed in the breeze with every step he took. Clark on the other hand was wearing dirty sneakers, blue jeans, a read and black flannel shirt, and a tan jacket.
Clark finally decided to break the silence between them. “So Lex what is going on?”
“What do you mean?”
“Well obviously there is something going on because you were so eager to join me for a walk, and call it a farmer’s sense, but I don’t think it was for the exercise. Lex stopped in his tracks and smiled.
“Guess it was pretty obvious then huh?”
Clark laughed, “I guess.”
“Well since you asked, I do have a proposal I would like to make for you.”
Clark looked at Lex unsure of what to expect.
“Relax Clark, it’s nothing to dramatic, just an exchange.”
Clark still didn’t relax. “An exchange? For what….what could you possibly need that you don’t already have?”
Lex smiled, “You’d be surprised, but anyways, Sunday is a special day for me, and I was wondering, that is if it’s not too much trouble, if I could have dinner with your family on Sunday.”
Clark was startled at the request. “Yeah of course L…..” Lex cut him off in mid-sentence.
“In return I have two tickets to a special Concert/Poetry Reading in Metropolis.”
“Poetry?? What kind of exchange is that?” Clark thought to himself. “Lex, you don’t have to give me anything to have dinner with us.”
“Clark, I know poetry doesn’t seem to make you jump with excitement.” He replied seeming to read Clark’s thoughts. “but it does make someone else we both know melt.”
Clark finally figured out what he was getting at. He tried not to show it, but a slow smile came across his face.
“I’ll take that as a yes Clark, come by the mansion to get the tickets before Tomorrow.”
Clark nodded grinning now, “thanks Lex.”
“Hey glad to help give you a nudge towards Lana. If you’re sure you don’t want a ride, I’ll just see you later.”
Just as Lex turned to walk back to his Convertible, a blue car came speeding directly towards them.

Here is somemore!!
The car didn’t slow down. Clark was getting ready to push Lex out of the way, when it skidded to a stop. It hit a puddle and threw mud up all over Lex and Clark.
“Oh Yeah! This baby can stop on a dime!” Clark’s best friend Pete Ross called out laughing.
“Whoa Pete, check it out. Clark and Lex transformed into the Mud Monster’s of Smallville. I better grab a picture of this or no one will believe it. This could be Wall of Weird material. What do you think?” Chloe teased. Chloe was Clark’s other best friend; her blue eyes twinkled whenever she talked about journalism, or investigative reporting. Pete smiled and played along. “We come in peace.” He called out trying to keep from laughing.
“HA HA…” Clark said with very little enthusiasm.
“Pete, that one sounds like Clark, his same annoyed laugh and everything.”
“Clark man, can you hear me?” Pete asked as if trying to communicate with a foreign person.
“Alright, while you two have fu mocking me, I have to go and get cleaned up.”
“Why Clark, you’ve never looked better.” Chloe teased shooting him her playful grin.
While this was going on, Lex stood of to the side and watched. He had never had a good true friend, until Clark had saved his life.
“Neither has Mr. Luthor.” Pete grumbled. He had never liked the Luthor’s after what they did to his family. Clark and Lex turned and started to head home. Luckily they had only gotten about a hundred yards from the Kent farm.
When they reached Lex’s nice car he turned to talk to Clark. “Well Clark, I think that next time I will just let you get some exercise and walk.” Lex smirked.
“Yeah, sorry about that Lex. I will let my parents know about Sunday, and stop by for those tickets after school. Clark gave a sheepish grin at the mention of the tickets.
Lex laughed. “By Clark, or…should I call you love sick puppy.”
Clark chuckled. “See ya!” Clark jogged into his house and waited for the sound of Lex’s car to disappear. He went into super then hit the shower, changed his clothes, and ran out to door to school. As he ran, his thoughts were going back on the eventful morning.
“Well, Pete and Chloe threw a kink into my morning, but I am glad that they are both okay.”
He suddenly stopped running as his thoughts drifted towards another interesting fact. “In my dream…..everyone I cared for was taken from me……everyone that is but…..Lex. He didn’t even make an appearance.” Clark was shaken out of his thoughts by the bell of Smallville High. “Dang! Late again!” and with that he sped off to school.
