I love the Dukes of Hazzard. Starting next Friday, CMT is going to start showing it on a regular basis! They're showing a marathon on Friday night and daily episodes from that point on.
I've got an aunt that just turned 30 and she was my babysitter when she was a teenager back in the 80s and every afternoon at four, we'd watch the Dukes. She got me hooked. I wanted to be just like Bo Duke, I swear. He was the coolest.
I loved it when TNN (back when it was The Nashville Network) showed it. But then it went all Spike, which I hate. All they show is crappy CSI and Law and Order. I hate those shows and I hate Spike TV.
Props to CMT for bringing back the Good Ol' Boys!

This was a fun show-even thou it could be extremely corny. What a difference between John Schneider then and now lol.Wonder if the new film will be any good?seems like it would work alot better as a tv show then a major film.Thou I'd have to say Jessica Simpson should be a good Daisy!lol

The only thing that worries me about the new movie is that Boss Hogg is black. No offense to Anthony Anderson or black people in general, but Boss Hogg is a typical 1970s Georgia racist. That's why he doesn't like the sheriff in Chickasaw County. I don't see how that's gonna work too well. I'll just have to see it when it comes out. I'm hoping the tv show cast has cameos in it too.

Burt Reynolds is playing Boss Hogg. That Anderson guy was considered but its Burt who got the part.

I cant wait to see Jessica Simpson in those shorts, but I actually doubt the movie will be that good. Whats gonna kill it is no one can play Rosco P Coltrane like James Best. And Burt Reynolds is gonna have to be darn good to be boss hog. (Boss Hog probably was a racist, but thats one thing that made you not like him)

His name is Tom Wopat. He played Luke Duke. I certainly hope they'll have cameos.

I'm excited about the remake.
I love Burt Reynolds so I wanna see him on the big screen again.
Sean William Scott is cool.
And best of all David Koechner (" Champ Kind" in Anchorman, also in Run Ronnie Run) is playing Cooter, he is the perfect choice!

I heard John Schnieder wasn't too thrilled with the movie.
