As if we didn't have enough games to play... ;)

This game is called Smallville Scategories. I based it somewhat off of the real game Scategories, but this is the SV K-site forum version. Here's how it can work:

Someone will post 3 categories(clues) pertaining to something from Smallville and a letter (I think we'll just use the letters in order A-Z). The first person to answer all the categories with something that starts with the current letter will post three more categories and the next letter. NOTE: When you post a category, please make sure there actually is an answer for your letter. Here's an example we can start out with (I'll make this one easy):

Letter: A

1. A member of the Justice League

2. A former resident of the Talon apartment

3. A plastic surgeon's daughter

----- Added 27 Minutes later -----

Woops! Already made a mistake! Alright fixed the last clue.

Let's see

1: Arthur Curry

2: Adam Knight

3: Abigail Fine

Let me give it a try-

Letter: B

1. The supervisor of project Ares

2. An episode we see a new type of Kryptonite

3. A sanitarium

Great idea Jess. I love Scategories!

1. Burke?
2. Blue
3. Belle Reeve

Sounds good HU! BTW you don't have to make the clues as specific. Also what I had in mind was as long as your answer satisfies the category then you're good to go. It doesn't have to be the exact one the previous person was thinking of.

HeroesUnlimited

Letter C:

You can go Nathan. In this game you don't necessarily have to wait for confirmation since your answers may not be what the previous person had in mind.

Lex Dance
11-23-2009, 04:53 PM
So are we saying:
Orange juice
Odyssey
Orb
???

I can't really take any credit for that so I'll pass it on.

super_j_man
11-23-2009, 06:30 PM
That looks fine. For Kryptonian artifact I was going to say Ocatagonal Key. Either way it works though.

MrsK should do the next one then, since she came up with the instance where OJ was drinken. I'm interested to see what she comes up with. With MrsK you know it's going to be good. ;)

HeroesUnlimited
11-23-2009, 07:00 PM
Yeah, I was thinking of Orb, but Octagonal key certainly works. Also Onyx would have worked for an episode as well. Mrs K, have you done one of these yet?

MrsK
11-25-2009, 12:44 PM
Not sure it really ought to be my turn, but okay! I haven't posted one of these before, so let's see...

Letter: P

1 - A Smallville villain
2 - first name of at least 2 characters
3 - a word used in reference to the octagonal key

xrayvision
11-25-2009, 01:08 PM
1. Detective Sam Phelan?
2. Pete Ross, Pamela Jenkins
3. Polygon?

HeroesUnlimited
11-25-2009, 01:44 PM
Don't the two names have to be the same? (ie "Paul" as in Paul Chan and Paul Hayden)

*With regard to the octagonal key - I think Mrs. Kent may be referring to "paperweight". I believe Lex called it that (to take attention off of it)

xrayvision
11-25-2009, 01:45 PM
Oh. I suck at this game.

What about Pete Ross & Pete Dinsmore?

HeroesUnlimited
11-25-2009, 01:51 PM
Oh. I suck at this game.

What about Pete Ross & Pete Dinsmore?

I think that would work.

BTW, I get the impression that people haven't played the "real" Scattegories game. Because some of the clues are VERY specific. In Scattegories, the topics are usually pretty vague. So vague, in fact, that they lend themselves to multiple different answers. Some of the clues posted here are so specific that they have only one correct answer. Here are some examples of "good" Scattegories topics (as they might apply to Smallville):
-episode names
-character names
-actor names
-geographic locations
-meteor freaks
Get the idea? Using those parameters, you could theoretically come up with multiple DIFFERENT answers. Hope that helps.

xrayvision
11-25-2009, 01:55 PM
I guess that's where the "categories" portion of the Scategories name came from (the fact that they are broad categories than specific topics).

HeroesUnlimited
