View Full Version : Southland's cancellation our gain? Chuck back this month?

According to Ausiello (http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/10/09/exclusive-nbc-may-move-up-chuck-launch/#more-3278)
we may get new episodes of Chuck as early as the end of this month (October)!

With Southland's cancellation and Jay Leno all but killing the scripted drama (or so it has been said), NBC is looking for something that will definitely draw viewers in and keep them.

Knowing Chuck's fanbase would tune in, they seem close to a deal to bring the show back early.

And if not this month it does look like we might get the show back by the end of the year (and not have to wait).

Of course, they have told us this before, so take it with a big grain of salt, gang!

Thanks for the update the news that Chuck might be back early has been floating for some time up at least now there is some explanation as to why

that would be nice I would also like to know when the dvd will be released because despite my best efforts I missed a few shows last year

hulu might put up the full season soon. they usually do. i wonder why the cw hasnt put their shows on hulu yet...hmm

I don't know their online serviece has never been that good I guess it has to do with license fees

Yeah, the thing about this coming back perhaps early is that I have not finished watching Season 2 yet. So I think Season 3 will have to stay on my Tivo for a while until I can do that!

And no word on when Season 2 might be on DVD, unfortunately.

this will be great if it happens :D i saw that NBC canceled some show but and thought that it would maybe bump Chuck to a sooner air date thanks for the info...... :D

So Ausiello is reporting in his latest AA that the return of Chuck is now slated for January, apparently. Which, ok, that's not too bad. Start out the new year with our favorite Geek...
