Chuck Season 3 Spoilers

General Spoilers

-Chuck returns March 2010 for a 13 episode order due to NBC's coverage of the Winter Olympics. There is potential for the show to start earlier if some of the fall line up does not due well. If the show performs well, NBC plans on purchasing a remaining 9 episodes for the season.
- The Buy More will still be around, but the store will have changed much under the management of Emmett. It will be a colder store.
- Casey will still be working in the Buy More.
- Big Mike will still be in hell as Emmett's grunt.
- We will learn why Casey became a spy
- We will see flashbacks into some of Casey and Sarah's less that legal activities from the past
- Casey and Sarah's roles will shift from protecting Chuck to teaching him.
- Chuck and Sarah will have their own individual love interests this season besides each other. However they will always fine themselves drawn back to each other in their dance.
- Sarah will not be happy that Chuck downloaded himself with the Intersect 2.0 as she sees any chance for "them" disappear. She won't admit this to Chuck though.
- Devon will have a larger role this season as he's pulled into Chuck's spy antics. Unfortunately this means he will start lying to Ellie to cover for Chuck.


Episode 3x01 - Chuck versus the Pink Slip

- The season premiere will reveal that Chuck has been in a training facility for the last 3 months to train Chuck to be a real spy.
- Chuck's family and friends think he's on a trip to Europe that Sarah surprised him with.
- General Beckman will not be happy with Chuck's progress and even says that the Intersect 2.0 was meant for a real spy like Bryce Larkin.
- The beginning of the episode will have Chuck sporting a full on beard (as seen in Comic Con)
- Chuck and Morgan will be roommates in the beginning of Season 3
- Something tragic occurred between Chuck and Sarah since the events of the Season 2 finale which are keeping Chuck and Sarah apart.
- This episode will see Chuck struggling with the idea of killing.
- Chuck assumes his Charles Carmichael identity to deal with some Russians alone.
- Chuck used Kung Fu in this episode.
- Emmett and Morgan will appear.

Thanks for posting these! I wonder what tragic occurence happened between Chuck and Sarah... I can see Sarah not being happy with Chuck for downloading intersect 2.0 into his brain. She had decided to be with him, sans intersect. That really messed up their chance at being a real couple.

For me the Chuck/Sarah love triangles are annoying, however if they don't have them go back and fourth but instead really cool things down between them and give them a real love interest for a while... well i wouldn't be happy with it, but I'll be slightly less annoyed than a full blown triangle.

BTW, I thought it was Carina, not Katrina.

Also, umm, may sound stupid but I'm not an american so what is a pink slip?

Real love interest for a while? That would be just bad for the show and viewers because if they can't be together then why have them with other people for a while like the whole show would be a ratings killer.

Chris and Josh are already threading on thin ice. Giving them long term love interests will kill the show for good. 2-3 episode love interests is all they can do without killing the show.

Guess I'm the only one that'd rather they be with someone else than constantly going back and fourth (it helps to know that someone might be Kristin Kreuk)... I kinda really liked Jill, and Lou as well. As for 2-3 episodes, well, they seem to be doing that every 2-3 episodes for the past season...

Of course, personally, i'm a lot more interested in the new intersect and than i am with anything to do with the character's love lives at this point.

I swear if they do something to tear Charah apart like having her sleep with Bryce if he's alive then the ratings will plummet but I doubt it, Bryce might be back in flashbacks only.

Although they said there not tearing them apart the only thing they can promise.

Anyway, i think whatever Sarah did, might not even be sleeping with other men. I mean, why are we circling around that? I mean this is a show where Chuck's dad turns out to be the maker of the intersect and the ex girlfriend didn't sleep with his best friend she was committing treason, you know? The tragic thing that happened, might be something totally not that cliche and overdone!

Be interesting if she almost forced him to kill someone.

I think that Daddylion was on to something when they suggested that Sarah forces Chuck to kill someone. I reckon that Chuck kills someone to save Sarah's life and then either he starts hating himself/blaming her or she falls out of love with him because of his loss of innocence. Or it could have something to do with Bryce...?

But innocence lost? Why would she fall out of love with him for that? Innocence was already lost during the course of the 2 seasons.

I don't think she'd fall out of love with him for something like that... Though it would make looking each other in the eye more difficult if that was the case.

Hi I was introduced to Chuck S1 and S2 by a someone from PA that I worked with in Sydney( He just left a few weeks ago heading back to PA). After S2 I found myself having Chuck withdrawal a bit but at the same time I don't want to rerun S1 or S2.. Maybe I need to wait till Feb 2010 and do my rerun of S1 and S2, pace myself and continue with S3 in March 2010.

Looking forward to S3. Are the last 9 episodes mentioned already made? If so, what will happened if NBC chose not to air/buy it? Guess they will try to sell it to another network?
