OK, this should be fun. It's a new game, similar to Tribond in that it forces you to examine what's the same and what's different about a group of things. The difference is, you must correctly identify which thing doesn't belong among a list of things AND say what the other items on the list all have in common with each other (kind of like we used to do in school). Here's a sample...

A) Run
B) Aqua
C) Justice
D) Doomsday

*The correct "thing" in this case is, of course, Aqua since the other three are all episodes that feature Bart.

Lists should probably be longer than 4 items in order to make them more difficult to solve. Also, remember. Simply guessing the correct answer is NOT enough. You must also say what the remaining items have in common (that's really the hard part). An answer is not "correct" unless the questioner says it is so even if your idea "fits", it must be the one the questioner had in mind. And one more thing. Please feel free to use items OTHER THAN episodes. You can use people, objects, even lines of dialogue if you wish. Since this was my idea, I'll go first...

A) "Which of your obsessive compulsive fixations is behind today's summons?"

B) "Clark, whatever deal I've made with the feds, your family is strictly off-limits."

C) "Why do I get the feeling you know more about this than you're letting on?"

D) "I'm impressed, but unfortunately, I don't respond to blackmail."

E) If I understood my father's insanity, Clark, I'd be a much happier man.

F) Actually, it looked broken to me, but, uh, I'll have a word with my security people.

G) Because he won't give me the only thing I've ever wanted from him.

All episodes you listed have weddings in them. However, Exodus, Heat, and Promise all have weddings of Lex Luthor to one of his wives -- Helen Bryce in Exodus, Desiree Atkins in Heat, and Lana Lang in Promise. Unsafe also contains a wedding (elopement, really) of Clark to Alicia, but since it's not a Lex wedding, it's the one that doesn't belong (C), correct???

Is it people finding out something by somewhat devious means? Lana finding Chloe's Fever letter; Lana spying on Lex in Wrath and finding out about the secret project; Prodigal the whole Lex and Lucas double team on Lionel; Fracture Clark going into Lex's mind. The odd one out would be Relic because that memory device was kind of meant for the purpose it was used.

Hmm, this is very hard.

But, I think it has something to do with the villain of the episode being tied to Lex. I am still going to go with C being the odd-one-out, because Fever's plot was based around Kryptonian's. (Correct me if I'm wrong...)

Hey, RedK, "Fever" is the one that doesn't belong, but your reasoning behind it is not quite what I was looking for... There are specific characters in each of the other four episodes that have a common tie to Lex that hasn't been mentioned yet... But you're halfway there!

Transference" Clark was Lionel and Lionel was Clark

Hex" Chloe was Lois

X-ray" Tina Greer was Lex, Clark, and Whitney among others

Spell: Isobel and the other witches were possessing Lana, Lois and Chloe

Hmm... Not characters... I'm not really sure that this similarity fits in any of those categories exactly. It's most closely linked to props in some ways... Sorry I have to be so vague. Well, what's in common is CONNECTED to a particular character, but it's not really ABOUT them or what they do in the episode.

Clark's powers weren't restored until Hidden, so maybe you're right, Jlvsclrk, about the powers and Mortal is the odd one out.

And yeah, Lois was possessed by Faora and got her powers, so I would say that counts.

And the odd one out is Mortal, because Clark was powerless throughout the entire episode.

My own thought about this one was: all the other episodes feature a superpower that the characters had for their first time.
Also, I was looking for Chloe's first Meteor Power in Phantom (healing Lois). Lois as Foara in Bloodline and Lex as Zod in Vessel. (you had those right ;))

I personally think that Jlvsclrk did the most thinking-work, so she can go next ;)

That's what I get for perpetually mixing up Mortal and Hidden as episode titles - my brain says Hidden is the hunt for the drugs at LuthorCorp and Mortal is Clark dying - ah well.

Well they are all of different sizes. One could be considered decorative, all are functional in their own way, but one certainly more so. One could fit in one hand, one is larger than your hand, but could easily be lifted by one hand, and one could not fit in your hand and you could not lift it... unless you're Clark. All are made of hard material, at least the outsides are.
