What did you think about them?
I seriously can't wait!
Are you excited! I know I am!

Highlights I'm thinking about:
Will Lois kiss RBB?
Will Clark make fun of Lois cause of the outfit?
Will Lois change her superhero name to "Nikey?"
What are Chloe and Lois talking about in their "cousin time?" Clark?
How will Jimmy/Chloe react to Lois being stiletto?
Phone booth. Lois Lane. Red-Blue blur?
What is the sensitive information in the car?
Lois saving Clark's butt for once?
How is Lois going to get herself out of this one?

Something tells me the term Cliletto will be used quite a bit in this thread.

Cliletto! it took me a moment to understand that. And what should we call Lois/Blur scenes, Blois?

A fan fic that I wrote about tonight's episode. It's a fun crossover between Smallville and Legend of the Seeker. Not realy any spoilers. Obviously we already know Lois is Stiletto. So, spoiler free(if you're worried about that)

I enjoyed thier scenes.

In regards to thier last scene though, I found it more touching than romantic. Lovely scene though.

All in all, I enjoyed it.

That was really amazing to see from Clark's perspective. I hope he gets to see more of this side of her 'cause he seems to be smitten by it;)

I have to say the ending did take me by surprise. I wasn't expecting Lois to ask the RBB if HE needed anything. Loved it:)

ITA, Lois was just adorable....
and I think this is the first time Clark has seen how giving Lois can really be. She could be sitting on the biggest story of her career, and all she wants is to be there to lend some moral support.

I definitely think Clark is getting realed in! :D

I would give them an 8 overall. I was hoping for a lil more humor to be honest but all of them enjoyable never the less. Good to see Lois get another front page article as well and mention of 100 articles(just those shove down the throats of the fans of a certain theory that she does get published)

Ok, I can't figure out my favorite scene. So, I'll talk about all of them!...Well the ones I really like.

Clark taking the mask off of Lois...ahahah that was just funny. "Every Fred needs his Barney"
Lois jumping into the window to save Clark. And then him jumping in front of the bullet. My jaw drops at that scene. I just didn't see that one coming. And then Lois crying when she sees what's going on. Ahhh, I just got an idea for a one shot :)
The last scene. I really love how Lois is like arguing with herself and then the conversations she has with "Red-Blue Blur" is just awesome. I loved how she showed the soft side of herself.

I thought it was very interesting, given Dries wrote Infamous, the contrast in the ending scenes, and I have to believe it was on purpose...to show the Clois progress.

In Infamous, we have Clark watching her on a moonlit night, angsting, and realizing her walls are up after recieving that text from her.

In Stiletto, we have Clark watching her on a moonlit night, smiling, never taking his eyes off her, and practically revelling in her reactions to him as she's being so open with him.

His smile at the end just absolutely killed me.

The moment when she asked what he needed, and said it had to be lonely for him, his reaction was just perfection. In that moment, he knew, even though she doesn't know it's him, that she gets him completely.

I loved the Clois scenes.

Andi! Long time no chat:)

ITA I think Clark really needs to see how giving, loving and compassionate Lois can be if you give her the chance. I'm sure he knows some of this already but I guess this just seemed much more shocking in a way because she has no idea who this guy really is and yet the first thing she asks him is not something for herself but something for him. And I think that really spoke volumes to Clark about who Lois really is behind that 'mask' and all.

You know Amber, I agree with you on this one. I just went back and watched the Clois (or Blurois) scenes again, as well as the scene at Isis w/ Clark and Chloe, in which he stated he wasn't looking for romance right now--in fact, he was a tad bit angsty in that moment, and well, I'm not seeing anything from him indicating he's falling in love w/ her.

Just gotta be honest gang. I really didn't see it. Doesn't mean I didn't like the episode and didn't enjoy the Clois we got, but I need more to be convinced.

Lois pretty much made it known to the RBB that she wants to feel needed. It was a nice touch, though I wish Clark had an RBB costume. That was the main thing that makes that scene seem lame to me.

He is getting there. He had the smiley faces and the twinkle in his eyes. He is seeing something, its not love as yet, but its definitely way past the friendship domain and getting into unchartered waters. I loved the "Miss Lane" part. So superman..!!

I loved the smiles and Clark looked like he was actually enjoying himself.

This episode had some of the best Clois scenes and Lois and Clark have the most amazing chemistry!!! Its obviously cuz they are meant to be :-D But really, Clark has had such blah romantic chemistry with everyone else (except Chloe, there was something there for a while) that its just great watching him with Lois!

Phone booth scene was the best!! LOVED IT.

FWIW, I don't think Clark is in love with Lois, nor am I expecting him to be, and more importantly I don't want him to be.

I personally think he feels an unwanted pull towards her which he studiously ignores and denies. He thinks he has it under control.

After the recent debacle, I think there should be a slow progression to where Clark realizes his feelings are much stronger than he ever wanted, where he gets to the point he can no longer deny or ignore.

I personally don't watch any of the Clark/Lois scenes hoping to see him in love with her, I don't think it's going to happen until some time next season. I thought the Daily Planet scene was cute, mho, it was more about Lois learning a lesson ( Lois is one of the characters Smallville actually holds accountable for the mistakes they make) than anything else.

I didn't think the RBB/Lois scene was romantic so much as endearing and very sweet (and of course filled with iconic ILL/Superman shout outs).

I saw it as yet another small step in Clark's journey to understanding who Lois Lane is. His eyes are not open yet, but moments like this build until the dam breaks and he'll realize she is the one he's been searching for.

I think Clark is denying to himself and others that he doesn't look out for romance right now, but I have the impression he's beginnig to fall for her, just because he decided to catch a bullet for her. It's not the action itself, cause we know he would do that for anyone, but the look on his face when he sees she's about to being shot..That told me a lot..

I loved how Clark can’t hold a smile when he talks to Lois in the last scene when he said, “I think there’s probably a better name out there..” he started giggling and then had to pull himself back and finished his sentence in a more serious & polite manner, “……and if there’s anyone who can find it, it’s you….”. lol

It wasn’t romantic as we’re told but I thought it was a very nice scene. This was clearly the glimpse of what to come regarding the relationship between Lois and Clark’s alter ego (RBB and Superman) in the future. Clark’s satisfying smile with the DP building behind at the end was a nice touch, too.

And then there’s “Can you read my mind?” and “Miss. Lane” lines, of course……. :D
As a Superman fan, what’s not to love in this scene?

But I don’t expect him to be in love with her anytime soon, yet I do think this triangle is a good way to develop their relationship both Lois/Clark and Lois/RBB. If Clark’s feelings towards Lois would align with his counterpart in the Mythos at the end, then I’m happy. I just want them to take time. Much more time.

And by watching these Clois scenes (I also loved the last DP scene), perhaps writers are able to pull it off without throwing the usual angst. I know I can’t expect too much from these show runners but still, I’m hoping for the best for my beloved couple.

Clark setting up the meeting in the first place speaks volumes for his true feelings for Lois although many of those are still not self-realized. Glad you brought up the parallel endings to the episode. I noticed that too and his reaction when she told him she didn't really want the story but wanted to know what he needed seemed like he was absolutely blown away by her.

Clark has deep feelings for Lois that he is not ready to admit to himself.

OMG he jumped in front of a bullet for her. He values her life more than his own.

His feelings are growing for Lois by the minute. Check out the tender way he talks to her on the phone as the RBB.

I thought the Rbb/Lois scene was romantic...but perhaps my definition of romantic is skewered because the reason I deemed it romantic was because the audience got to see Clark's understanding of Lois grow. IA with everything you wrote - I don't want him to be in love with her but I'm enjoying watching him come to a realization of those feelings. I think there needs to be more time before he says "I love you."

I was also thinking about the mentions of Clark being lonely. That has played a big role in Clark's life - he was always afraid of being alone, of not having a soulmate. I believe that's why he almost kissed Lois in Bride, and I believe that's why he entered into a relationship with Lana again (well, that's part of the reason). If Clark turned to Lois now, just because he's lonely, that would undermine the EPIC nature of their relationship, IMO. In this episode, we saw Clark's emotions undergoing a change when it comes to Lois - he sees her differently every day. I'm so glad that he's starting to get it - but I hope that when they start their relationship it's because he wants her and not because he think he's found a great partner who will help stem the tide of loneliness.

I don't think I have to worry about that, though, because all the Clois scenes in this episode showed a beautiful build up to what will be. I have to admit, the Clois scenes in Infamous and even Hex disappointed me, but I was very satisfied with every Clois scene this time around. I'm feeling more excited than ever about Clois! :D
