And he's got quite the attitude, too!

He's being pretty heroic this season; he was my favorite part of this episode. :D

I enjoyed that his character has indeed grown up and that he is smart enough to know how to use his power is a number of different ways. Glad that they brought the character back in and made him stronger so he can hold his own.

well we all know how that works. this ep kept the story pretty clear but the last ep had everyone hoping that nathan wasn't really tracy's "last hope" as he had said. but they left you thinking that it was him....and for just a split second i wondered if baby matt parkman could have been rebel? weird? yes. within the realm of possibility? totally:p

Sort of.

I actually thought it was a team headed by Angela. Someone with not just the savvy to handle the job, but also someone who was a bit more experienced dealing with people with abilities. And a whole lot more mature.

but the point was he wasn't mature. Just trying to be proactive and his power gives him alot of maturity cause he knows for real what's going on in the world. he has access to all the info on almost anything and thats proly a real eye opener and plus rebel is kind of flying by the seat of his pants. the only thing he has going for him though is that he is "always prepared"...so glad the show didn't mess this one up!:D:D

That's the part that baffles me. In season one, the only season he really appeared in, he was pretty much isolated from all the other charaters. He didn't know any of them up until the time Peter was about to blow up. How did he know who Doyle, of all people, is and how to contact everyone? I find that quite odd.

he knew doyle cause the government was after him. he was helping all who were being chase which also goes to show how naive he is. He is helping all no matter good or bad...let us hope he doesn't try to help sylar.

I have a question. When Micah found out the Tracy was bait for him, he said something that I couldn't really make out clearly. He said, "I thought there was a good chance they'd follow you," but then I'm not sure if he says, "(just or she) didn't think that you'd be in on it." I'm hoping he said "she" because that indicates there is someone else working with him. If any of you can go back and rewatch that scene, let me know what you think. It is about 3/4 of the way through the episode.

That's the thing I did like about Micah, his naivette (assuming I spelled that correctly). I sure hope it sticks with him for a while.

Then and again, I suppose he found people like Doyle and Alex by checking with the building 26 computers or something...

that's what I'm thinking. He has gained access to their info b4 for matt and peter so maybe he picked some stuff up for himself and a few other fugitives too. Claire is going to be mad that sylar is undoing her & rebel's hard work. Hopefully sylar doesn't go after Alex too:(

I never doubted that Micah was Rebel, but I didn't think he would be acting alone for the exact reason you mentioned. But, does Angela know who Rebel is? From the conversation she had with Bennet in the car, it was almost like she knows who Rebel is and using him in her plans. If she knows, does Noah know? I mean, they are working together but why would he need Tracy to lead him to Rebel, unless that was an act to keep Denko off of his trail. I really hope she is using Micah as Rebel to help the heroes, and not Micah acting on his own because there are just too many questions about how Micah now knows who all these people are and how he knows about the government rounding them up and everything else he seems to know after being gone for so long.

CompanyMan
03-24-2009, 12:53 AM
The conversation in the car led me to believe that neither Angela nor Noah knew who was acting in the capacity of Rebel. Otherwise Noah wouldn't have to come up with such an elaborate plan to capture him. I was also shocked a bit with Micah's statement, "I am Rebel" as if he was owning the title all to himself. I would agree with those that would say that Micah is not old enough and knowledgeable enough to be working on his own. But it does appear as if he is.

Yup Glad Micah was the Rebel all along but I do wonder how and why did he send Hiro and Ando to India hopefully that is explained. I do think that others where helping him too because everything just seems way to much for a kid.

CompanyMan
03-24-2009, 01:24 AM
I think he sent Hiro to India for one or two possible reasons. The first might be that the woman he kept from getting married needs to be "free" for a future use and not tied up in a marriage. The second (and most likely) reason was so that it would encourage Hiro to keep up the good fight. He was getting discouraged about not having an ability to be able to help people, and by interceding on the woman's behalf he found out that he didn't need powers to be a hero. That bolstered him and enabled him to have the encouragement to resume his desire to help other people.

Captioning is wrong then. Cause Micah says "she". There is no way "just" would ever come out as "she". You can't get those mixed up no matter how much you slur your words. Now was his "she" referring to his cellphone or another person?

Being hard of hearing can have it's advantages sometimes. I watched the episode twice, both times using captioning. The captioning clearly had Micah saying "I just didn't..." The word "she" would be out of context with the whole conversation, since it was simply an exchange between Tracy and Micah about Tracy betraying Rebel to Danko.

It was great to see Micah back, and it makes sense that he turned out to be Rebel because of his ability to manipulate technology. Parkman's baby seems to have similar powers. But yeah Micah probably had help.

Also, if he would have said "she" Tracy would have expressed confusion and inquired who he was referring to rather than get defensive and try to justify her actions.

yep others on some other forums who have checked the close captioning have reported that micah's saying "i just didn't think..." while others have said their captioning for some odd reason just reads "just didn't think". but more are saying that thanks to captioning it's "i just didn't think.." so he wasn't referring to someone else. he's somehow sounding out the words together "ijust.." but yeah for some weird reason it is also sounding as "she". but it's "i just".

He knows everything that the government has on file for any of the heroes. He even said to Tracy that he's read her file and thinks he knows her from that.

I knew it was him (like most others here I guess) - who else could mysteriously hack all computer systems and make stuff appear on seemingly random screens.

I think Micah could develop into a powerful God of Networks... imagine him taking over the Internet, being able to manipulate any connected machine in any way from anywhere in the world. I see a lot of untapped potential there. I also see the government sending a special team of completely low-tech ninjas after him.

Side note: This was the finest episode since Season 1. I didn't like that Tracy can now apparently freeze and shatter and still survive and even wink... how does her power of freezing explain that?
