View Full Version : Parallels between this episode and Splinter?

Did anyone see parallels between the episodes? Both times, there's a person who's under the influence of some drug (morphine vs. silverK) and Chloe is close to that person, and has to make the snap decision to incapacitate them in order to stop them from hurting someone else badly.
Or maybe that's as far as the comparison goes, and I'm just posting this because of short memories/testing a theory. :D
What do others think?

Also, something I didn't think of before. Clark sees Lexana hug, but it's only once they kiss that he really loses his cool. Jimmy sees Chlavis hug, and he immediately suspects that Davis is trying to get Chloe away.
Honestly, I don't think Davis wants Chloe for himself, and this seems to be more about protecting his secret than anything else.

The difference is that most of what Jimmy saw in this episode wasn't a hullicination. They actually happened. He was drugged by Davis to keep him from finding out the truth but his little trick didn't work.

Oh hey, it's you.
So should Chloe have trusted Jimmy despite the screaming at an empty room? What about when he had a seemingly innocent man handcuffed to a gate and he'd hit him over the head with a lead pipe?
I guess she should have used her third-person-omniscient perspective in order to know that Davis was playing them. Oh wait, that's just the perspective the audience has, not the characters. What's next, Clark should be worried because people across the world (also the audience) know his secret?
