did Clark and Lois look . . . strange tonight, especially in the beginning of the episode.

I don't know if was hair, makeup, costuming, lighting, or what, but they didn't look like themselves.

Anybody else think this?

Lois looked different, but she was still beautiful as always. :D

It was just plain weird. All the colors were muted except for Tori's lipstick. It was almost like looking at a sepia colored picture. I thought for sure it was going to turn out to be a dream Clark was having. I think I would have liked that better.

Honestly, this episode made me think of a hangover. I suddenly started to imagine the writers all doing numerous shots of alcohol in order to crank out the last 4 Lana arc episodes. While writing Infamous, I can see them sitting around with a hangover going "Ssshh, just put in Lois finding out then reverse it and we will fix everything else later.". "God, can someone turn down the lights please?"

i thought Tom looked all round and undefined - like he had gained weight in his face or something - as he has gotten older he's just gotten hotter, but tonight he definately looked different "softer" in his facial definition somehow - and not in a good way.

p.s. still the 2nd hottest guy on earth though (my husband being first of course - seriously)

I did think Lois looked like she had a tan, but other than that, let's face it, Smallville has some of the most beautiful people on TV (especially Tom Welling)... eh, they looked fine. :D

Makes sense to me. The sun is the biggest star in our solar system, no? LoL :p

It wasn't just you. Clark looked funny to me in some scene's. Either had on too much make-up or the lighting was off. Something was strange.

I also noticed that Lois' hair looked darker - I'm not just talking about the blonde highlights - I mean, since "Bride." It looks like Lois' hair is more brown than it was before she left... either it was the lighting or it is getting darker. Pretty soon, her hair may be iconic-black. I don't think she really needs it, but it's a possibility.

That's her natural color. She always wanted to have her natural color but the producer's wanted her to be blond.

not just you. I noticed everything seemed to have a washed out sepia(or in my case a slight green tint to it) up until he changed the timeline. It made me think it was gonna end up being a dream sequence. It also seem to have the same feel to it that RECKONING had to it, along with that "rushed" quality. :\

I think there were a lot of close-up distortions in the shooting. I don't know if that has to do with camera lenses or what. but they've done it before.

It looked like a definite change in makeup for Lois. But it wasn't bad or anything, just different.

You´re right. A good example is the last scene with Chloe and Clark. You can see that in the middle of the scene both their make-up changes from normal to overdone. They start out walking the one street of Metropolis looking normal, and all of a sudden both look totally "overmake-upped" and artificial.

Lois looked great IMO. Clark looked best when he was looking at Lois. I think that's when he looks hottest for some reason.
In some scenes I thought the lighting was too dark.

i didn't think they looked weird, Lois' hair was darker for sure, Tom looked hot as always especially when he was wet :) lol and also in the end, i loved the faces he made when he was looking at Lois waiting for him, and the face he made after her text message was just yummy and sad at the same time. I loved the face he made when he was about to tell her as well, he was watching her work...hehe

Um...in my little AU, Lois had her some "fun" in Gotham City with someone else;)...and I'm sure you know of whom I speak! (*points to avi):D

Anyhow...I did think Lois looked a bit different...BUT, as always, GORGEOUS!! I love her darker brown hair. She doesn't need to go black though. Just not ED.
Ah, I loves her!:D

LoL. I know that is her natural hair color (I saw that interview) :) ... I was just commenting that her hair looked even darker than I remembered it being in "Bride," for example... but who knows? For all intensive purposes, this was a dream sequence episode - maybe it was the lighting.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I just chalked it up to a my horrific tv screen. I'm glad to see that it wasn't just me.
