Is he only guest starred for one episode? Aww, I want him to starr more episodes!! Anyways, his acting was marvelous in this episode, his hunger and everything is terrific. I thought his powers should be more than that but I guess he's too old that's why he stands no chance against his son.

Anyways, its soo great to see John Glover back!!

John's acting is always superb, but this show didn't take advantage of it. The character was predictable along with the storyline.

Who is the one who voted his acting terrible?

Probably Sylar. He hates it when someone is as good as he is...

They didn't say how Angella knew Samson. I was waiting for them to explain how they knew each other but they never did.

Angela knows a lot of things. She was one of the main executives at Primatech. If there is anything to be known about people with abilities, The Company knows about it. But that brings up another question: Why did the company go after Sylar in the first volume but not Samson if Samson is (or was) just as bad as his son?

I was actually pretty scared when he used that power on sylar

How many episodes is John G. supposed to be in?

I thought he was going to take sylars power when he put him to sleep.

Not bad with John Glover. Im expecting he'll come back soon I mean Sylar did mention a cheerleader in California. John Glover might try to search for her if that's his only chance in living. I found it very funny when he talks about Sylar wanting an epic fight lol wasn't expecting that line. It's sad that after all these time, Samson didn't show much of the abilities he absorbed or perhaps evolving his power so that he could take power through empathy like Sylar once did. In the end Samson underestimated his son, Sylar cellular regeneration ability. I found it weird though that Samson couldn't get Sylar to go to sleep, perhaps cellular regeneration has some immunity over it.

There seems to be a number of things Sylar can overcome. In season 1 Hiro froze time after Sylar killed his adoptive mother but Sylar was still able to move, and was able to turn off the sedative Mohinder was giving him to incompacitate him. In the last volume, "Nemisis" (Daphne) was also able to move after Hiro froze time, so maybe if one has a similar ability they can overcome what someone else is trying to do.

Hrmm sounds reasonable but it's just too complex and the writers would give us too much credit to find that out or think that way lol. I thought the reason why Sylar moved was because Hiro was having doubts of killing Sylar. He never killed before, he was still new at using his power and that time-manipulation involves concentration so if he didn't have the desire to kill Sylar then there was no point stopping time, which is probably why it went back to normal. I think the reason why Sylar got out of Mo sedative was because Mo underestimated Sylar like EVERYONE in the show (Government agent totally underestimated Sylar because he mention to The Company he could of killed Sylar but he didn't know how to fight someone who can fight gravity(TK) if they had the shot to his head they should of went for it like Nathan said, Samson Gray underestimated Sylar capabilities of Cell. Regeneration as that it let him recover very quickly even from w/e he was doing). I'm a little confused on how Sylar got out of COMA state when Angela was in his dreams acting as his mother. Was it cell regen that got him out of was it Angela who got him out, but technically she said he was very special so it's probably him. Sylar can get out of coma state unlike Claire so yeah it's weird.

Though I'm not sure as I had a few glasses of wine last night but- Anyone notice Samson's whistle while he was attacking sylar was the same "notes" as the screeching we hear when sylar cuts his victims heads open?

Totally agree. The character/storyline was very predictable.
And he scared me!:(

I just read a spoiler that said Sylar's mother will be in some upcoming episodes and her name is Virgina Gray.

Maybee she wasn't killed by Samson and just cut on the head. When someone gets cut on the forehead they bleed alot and I didn't exactly see her brains come flying out or anything.

Or possibly the woman wasn't his mother. his father didn't even remember what happened and sylar only assumes the woman his father is with is his mom. could have been some hooker...but whatever. i hope sylar's mom is WORSE than sylar. like she can put memories inside people's heads and so she made sylar think that his dad killed her.

I suppose that's a possibility, but I doubt it. He remembered his father while in the boarded up restaraunt, so I'm sure he would have recognized if the woman was his mother or not. Plus, when Sylar accused Samson of killing his mother, Samson's reply was "So?" and not "I did?"

Exciting, looking forward to see what happens. I think Sylar's pops was awesome and I have no doubt about it that he is going to get the healing ability! At least I pray!

I don't think it was left open Spirit Detective Sylar tightens some wire around his father's neck. Then when he begs him not to let him die he tells him: oh you'll die alright...slowly,painfully,and with your disease! I think Sylar decided the best way to kill his father. Was not with a mercy kill but by extracting as much pain possible to the point, where he wished he was dead. I think the only way to bring John Glover's character back would be through flashbacks. If they ever wished to expand on Sylar's past to understand why his father gave him away for money.

That isn't true. Sylar stopped strangling him with his own breathing device (or whatever it was) when he left. What he meant by that line was that he's leaving his father to die from his cancer, which as I'm sure you are aware of, is an incredibly painful process.

Glover probably will make a return, because the ratings are falling in Heroes and they need a brilliant actor like JG to bring them back up. Since the finale is next week, he'll probably appear next season.

If Sylar had killed his father it would have been rather funny in a way. Glover playing 2 characters that both are murdered by their son.

No... there aren't. We're currently on season 3 part 2, not season 4. Tough luck. And yeah actually, there is a weeks break, but the next one is the last one until season 4 comes out. Sorry.

I think there are actually 6 episodes left to this volume. Because unless I'm miscounting we've had 6 already, and Fugitives is supposed to run for 12 episodes.

Virgina Gray? We already saw her in season 1. She was Sylar's adoptive mother. He kills her with scissors.
