Why didn't Peter grab Tracy before he flies off ??

One, he couldn't trust what side she was on right then. Two, without Nathan in front of him, especially going over to where the Hunter was aiming, he would have been shot. Three, the Hunter had Tracy in his sight, any motion she would have been shot. Four, without super strength any more, Tracy would have been a great burden on his speed. Need I go on?

I think he has to concentrate to take a power. I think he left her because she was about to double cross him and he couldn't trust her.

He can't fly with someone that can't fly. Every time he touches someone it cancels out the old power.
