Toyman is supposed to be a human right?
In Superman TAS, he was a doll that was alive and in Superman Doomsday, he was human.

Toyman is one of my favorite villains in the comics! I haven't read to many spoilers but with this character you can be either very comical or very devious or a bit of both!

I have never heard of the toyman.I think i may have seen him in the superman doomesday movie, but thats it.I would have loved if they had given him his own episode. Not stick him Lana's goodbye,it seems like there is so much going on already.

I thought he did an excellent job as the Toyman. There were a lot of layers to the performance.

Good though under utilized. I would like to see him come back, creepier. Toyman is really a throwaway villain unless you have him do something terrible (a al Superman Doomsday). Were he to attack children it could make for some frightening stuff.

I liked him. I wouldn't mind him coming back sometime.

I felt that scene where he was talking to Lex and blowing up the fake DP was over the top, but that could have been the director's fault...

Does anyone know if he'll join the Injustice League/Tess Mercer's team (like he's done in the comics)?

Chris Gauthier who played the Toyman was brilliant as I knew he would be. I absolutely adore his character Vincent on SciFi's "Eureka" and knew he'd knock this one out of the park. He was so creepy it was great. I oddly felt bad for the character.

Just to note on something ZodisGod said.

Toyman in the animated series was not a living doll. He was a human that wore a doll mask. There is an episode where the mask is actually broken, I forget which. It could be the Static Shock/Superman TAS crossover or in the Justice League. But he was definitely human.

Dude, he was creepy. "When the monkey claps 53 times, it'll be the last thing you ever hear." Ugh. *Shudder* I don't know why, but that really freaked me out.

actually it was the first apperance of toy man at the end but

from wikipedia:
A robot Toyman surfaces in Metropolis and allies with Lex Luthor in Action Comics #837 (May 2006). His appearance, inspired by the character's Superman: The Animated Series incarnation, is that of a child-sized doll. As part of his bargain with Luthor, he is given the information needed to find his creator Winslow Schott in exchange for assistance in a plot against Superman.

This Toyman, renamed Toyboy, is shown amongst Schott's other robots in Action Comics #865.

On the cover of Justice League of America (vol. 2) #13, it shows this android Toyman as a member of the Injustice League.
