Thank you to the producers for not doing what seven season did to us... now you are showing that clana love is for real , they truly care for each other.

I hope they just don't respect you Clana fans. I hope they give you what you really want--a Clana marriage. That way Clark can keep the heck away from Lois and she can go on to find a real nice man who wants her, like Bruce Wayne, maybe. Now thats a man.

He may be, but so was Oliver and for that matter, so was Lex. Only difference is that Lois, unlike Lana, is mature enough and woman enough to handle such a man. Let the kiddies Lana and Clark have one another. They can play their Superboy and Girl adventures together forever in their sandbox. Lois does not need a boy like Clark Kent.

That is not true. I love Chloe. I never wanted Clark for her either because I did not like the way he treated her even though he knew that she had feelings for him (kind of like how he is treating Lois, actually). Read some of my earlier posts and you will see.

If you speak for all of Clana fandom, then I am happy that a portion of the viewers feel PS3 finally showed their ship a lot of respect with the arc. Having been a Clana fan, I don't see it but maybe my desire to see Clark act more iconic than SV!Clark acts has acted lately has jaded my perception.

It goes without saying that the mythos does not favor Clana. However, if you feel that in her present state that Lana woudl represent the love of Clark's life, then PS3 has done you a large favor.

I don't want to disrespect your Clana-ship and I am happy for you guys, but frankly I just don't think SV!Clark is good enough for Lois or man enough for her.

I like this arc. I think they've done a good job of showing that they are star-crossed, madly in love and constant in their feelings. I think Lana is the woman for Clark. I'm not referring to comics, but to this show. I'm basing this on Smallville not outside sources. I love Lois and Clark in the movies, but that too is based on the movie not outside sources. I think they've done a great job of showing the depths of these characters' love for one another. Eight years to be exact. Yes, I'm pleased. They sold me on the couple. That was their intent from day one it seems and they succeeded for me and for a lot of other Clana fans. Whatever comes now is fine. I have had 8 years and last night's episode was the Clana climatic finale. They could end the series now. Clark has embraced his destiny. He's pretty much Superman now, with the love of his life at his side. Series over. End it on this high note.

Uh...I don't think he becomes Superman. He realizes his dream but never reaches his destiny the way this story goes. He never puts on the suit because he never wanted to-- "no flights, no tights". He remains with Lana on the farm fighting the meteor infected in Smallville (because that is where they met and continue to live) never leaving to go out into the world. He never learns to fly because he never did his training in the fortress. The fortress is now dead and he never went back because he had everything he needed just the way he wanted with Lana. Matter of fact, the last time he even visited Metropolis was when he and Lana kissed on the roof of the DP. Then they went back to Smallville and stayed their for the rest of their lives.

Oliver Queen and the JLA gave up on Clark because he is stagnated and happy living a normal life. The Legion don't even know who Superman is because history has been changed. Another alien is looked highly upon instead of Kal-el as being the one that has brought peace between the humans and aliens. Of course, Lana gets frustrated sometimes because unlike Clark she never wanted to be normal. She has his abilities but she is stifled because all Clark wants to do is be normal, sit at home cuddled on the sofa, realizing his dream while people like Batman, the Green Arrow, the JLA and all the other super heroes fight to keep the world safe. Chloe helps Oliver and the JLA, Lois is married to Batman and supports him but continues to work at the DP and Jimmy is doing what he always did in the canon. SV!Clark never becomes Superman because he is fixated on his past and being normal.

Sunny, isn't this a bit unfair. Both Clark and Lana have said how committed they are to saving the world and helping people on a worldwide basis. Neither wants to sit on the farm. This is what Power was all about. Clark is all about helping people. As far as Lois and Batman. Well, now she's stepping into Catwoman's territory. Can't have that. :)

Clark and Lana have problems even if we want to see them together on SV. You even have to admit that. Clark is fearful of moving past Smallville. He is very resistant and even Lana can't help him now that he has his dream. I mean he was getting there, but then he regressed (and I won't say Lana is the reason he did so either). This SV!Clark is just that way. He is a bit weak.

Not really. In some versions of the comics she is married to Batman.

And in those versions is Clark with Lana? This seems weird that Lois would cross over into Gotham/Batman's World. I'm a Batman/Catwoman fan. I don't want to see Lois with Spiderman either. I like Spiderman with Black Cat. What about Lois and Oliver?

In the Silver age version of the comics Lois was married to a lot of different people depending on who wrote the story. However, Superman was her main love interest more often than not. I guess they got bored and wanted to change up the character's a bit to keep people interested over the years.

Well, Paolinki, can you at least enjoy Clark's heroics. He's been saving people and intervening a lot.

I agree with you completely.

A CLANA WEDDING!! YES!! THAT IS WHAT WE NEED!!!!!!!
did anyone else feel their heart stop just a little bit when Lana said, "It's Ms. Lang, that will /never/ change."?

Who needs Mythos when you have SV Clana?!

I certainly wouldn't mind. Lois gave Clark the idea for a Clana small church wedding and then comes Clark, Jr. I did catch the line about Lana always being Ms. Lang. That was before she came back to SV and reconnected with Clark now. If she weren't leaving that's where they would be headed.

I don't either and I am not a Clana fan but I don't want to rain on their parade. I just really don't want this Clark Kent with Lois. He is not mature enough or man enough for her.

AHH! thank you. I forgot about the time-difference.

I don't recall Lois saying anything about the Clana though. you have a good memory.

I wish KK wasn't leaving, just hope they don't kill her off for next season.

IMHO NOT TO PISS OFF CLANA FANS BECAUSE MOST OF YOU GUYS ARE COOL BUT I DON'T THINK YOU CAN CALL TRAINING TO USE POWERS FOR YOUR OWN ADVANTAGE MATURE! OR TRYING TO KILL YOUR EX HUSBAND AND WHATS WITH THE LOIS REMARK LIKE SHE IS WHINEY IT TAKES MORE THAT STEALING NEW POWERS TO FEEL LIKE AN EQUAL TO MAN MAN PHYSICALLY SUPERIOR TOO YOU(LANA) TO MAKE YOU STRONG! yOU DO NIT FOR YOUR SELF NOT FOR SOME MAN THAT IS JUST STUPID! STRENGTH IS SOMETHING YOUR BORN WITH NOT EXPERIMENTED ON WITH! SHE IS STILL A WHINEY VICTIM WITH A TEMP SOLUTION! YES SHE WANTS TO SAVE THE WORLD BUT AT WHAT ADVANTAGE CAN SHE GET OUT OF IT! PRAISE FROM CLARK OR MORE MILLIONS TO STEAL! SOMEONE WHO HAS A PAST LIKE HER CAN CHANGE IN A FEW MONTHS I STILL THINK SHE WILL TURN EVIL BECAUSE IT IS IN HER NATURE!

MAYBE IM THIS WAY BECAUSE IM FROM LOUISIANA WE HAVE THE DEATH PENTALY WE DONT BELIEVE IN REHILBILLTATION! PLUS I COME FROM A ROUGH TOWN(N.O.) SO WE DON'T FORGIVE THAT EASILY JUST SAW TOO MUCH GROWING UP TO AGREE WITH THE WRITERS!

I wish I could, my friend, but the thing is that just as he is moving forward and looking more Superman-ish than ever, he takes gigantic leaps back in his emotional maturity, which saddens me a little. :(
