Yes. Clois will happen. After Lana leave's Clark will be a pathetic mess (according to 'Requiem"). He will be like a shell shocked veteran of war victim that is only a shadow of himself. Lois, who was busy nursing Jimmy back from his injuries in Star City, is now well equipped to help her poor friend and devotes herself to bringing the Clark she has seen and known in season 8 (first half) back on track. In the state that Lana leaves Clark in, Lois wonders how she ever could have had romantic feelings for this pathetic mess, this man that was so easily slayed by his first love. This man is no resemblence to the man she was starting to have feelings for. She wonders what happened to him when she was gone but no one can give her a clear explanation. She now feels pity for this creature that used to be Clark. Lois has to help him, one step at a time, like he is a baby and she is determined to bring him back. After all, Clark/Clois/Lois fans are counting on her;).

Lois moves into the farmhouse with him and makes sure he eats, bathes and dresses daily, because all he wants to do is stay curled up in his bed never coming out to eat, work or do anything else. She makes him go running with her by telling him that she needs him with her for protection as he would only respond to her request to go running with her when he thought that she needed him as her bodyguard. She helps him do farm work and generally, makes him go on with his life. All this time he is like a zombie, however, just going through the motions because Lois is not allowing him to just curl up in the bed sleeping his life away. At first, he starts to feel anger towards her, but Lois does not let that stop her. She makes Clark go to work with her everyday and makes him work with her side by side. She won't let him destroy his life by letting him get himself fired. He just mindlessly follows her orders because he is still not able to function on his own yet. Of course, Jimmy, Chloe and Oliver help where they can, but Lois is Clark's main support. She'll be darned if season 8 (first half) Clark is left as just a memory in people's minds:). Least of all, her mind.

So she continues with her efforts though Clark is resistant, mean, and sometimes just down right ornery with her. She hates to admit that he has scared her a few times, but she did not let him know it. She won't let him get the upper hand by making her so afraid that she leaves the farm house. She just won't give up, no matter what, much to Clark's dismay. She's like a "pit bull on a pants leg" Clark shouts at her several times.

Then one day, after her persistent devotion and care for him, he finally gets a little of his thought processes back when Lois is spoon feeding him some of the food she cooked for him. He may be out of it but he has enough wits about him to realize that he does not want to eat Lois' cooking so she pretty much has to force it into his mouth. A light goes on in his head as he looks at her when she is wiping his mouth and realizes that it is Lois that has been helping him all the time after Lana left him in an emotional whirlwind. Even though Lois has lost that loving feeling for Clark because he has been such a mess and her budding desires for him are no more, he starts to have more than friendship feelings for her again. He starts to see Lois in the way that we that love her have seen her all this time. He starts to fall for her, even though Lois is just trying to be there for him in the capacity of a friend and no longer views him in a romantic light. Clark, then, has to woo her and convince her that she is perfect for him. And the chase begins....;)
