Come here, Dustmite, I'll give you a hug.
I would like a scene to start with Clark and Chloe entering a room together and they're in the middle of a conversation and basically saying, "That was great." "Oh, definitely." "The best I ever had." "Me too." And then I don't really care what happens for the rest of the scene, Power will be my favorite Chlark episode of all time.

:D
Yeah, that sounds like a GREAT episode. Maybe Chloe can have twigs in her hair too, just to really hammer the point home.
I wonder who I'd have to get out of the way to get you to have creative control.

Maybe Chloe can have twigs in her hair too, just to really hammer the point home. I think it would be better if they left it vague. Then half of us could argue "They were talking about the donut they shared in the scene before." And the other half of us could say, "Clark sure did like tasting Chloe's donut. ;) ;)"
I wonder who I'd have to get out of the way to get you to have creative control. Warner Bros, DC Comics, The CW Network, CBS, CBC, PMS, the Segal and Schuster families, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals... (it's a long, long list)

You should post that in the "quotes you wish were in Power" thread. That is classic.

um...... why are there 3 votes for "NO" already, when the ep hasn't even aired yet? ?

um...... why are there 3 votes for "NO" already, when the ep hasn't even aired yet? ? Because some people are completely unbiased, but will be too busy later to rate the scenes bad.

Kelly, I want kisses too. Maybe it'll be like that Friend's episode where Chandler kisses everyone. Clark can kiss Lana. She goes away to kiss Tess and Chlark spend the remainder of the episode making out.

Clark made me mad when he confronted Chloe about her keeping Lana's confidence. He has no room to talk after what he did to her memory and not coming clean about it yet. But overall it was far better than last week's Clois pimping.

I wasn't so mad about that as I was just annoyed that he was surprised or whatever. This isn't the first time that Chloe has kept something from him that Lana told her, so why should he be so pissy like it had never happened before?

yeah agreed. I couldn't believe Clark. Does he not remember the secret about the freaking mindwipe ?? He had no right to go on like that to Chloe.

Did they cut a Chlark scene? I thought there should have been a scene with Chlark at the Talon.

This was so old school Chlarkana, down to Chloe drinking a cup of coffee (first one all season). I felt the shift start back to normalcy with them. Clark needs Chloe to find Lana. The scooby, there's a misunderstanding. Chloe gives her sage advice wrt Lana. Clark's unreasonably upset that Chloe kept a secret from him--oh, the irony. It's been done in the past, it was nice to see it again.
One thing though, when Chloe shows Lana her engagement ring, Lana says, "You look great together" I actually though she did mean Chlark, because she said that same line in Tempest.
Another wedding anvil?

I'm not sure there were any Chlark scenes in this ep. Clark and Chloe were in scenes together, but those scenes were All. About. Lana.
They were Lana scenes.

I felt that way too especially when I saw Chloe drinking the coffee. Clark was wrong to get upset with Chloe but I don't feel that he responded as harshly as he has been known to do in the past.
Actually, that scene reminded me of Exile when Chloe knew where Clark was but didn't tell Lana until she found him the second time.

Chloe is by far the best new character in the Superman saga. I wish the writers could have killed off Lana 6 seasons ago, so there could have been a Clark & Chloe. It would have been a much better story.

I thought she meant Clark too, Because Chloe's response was something like, "speaking of, have you been to the Daily Planet to visit Clark?" and I thought it was odd that she answered as if Lana was speaking of Clark. :\

This is cute. The writing sucks on Smallville right now, but it pretty much *HAS* all season.
