best episode 13 of the series!!

Here are some short summary of each episode!:D

-Kinetic
Whitney falls in with some former jocks who have kryptonite tattoos that give them the power to walk through walls. Meanwhile, Chloe is seriously injured and Lex has his own plans.

-Suspect
Lionel is shot in the manor, and Jonathan is the prime suspect.

-Velocity
After Pete refuses to throw a street race, the thugs that run it threaten his life, so he asks Clark to use his powers to stop them. Furious that Pete would put himself in this position, Clark must figure out a way to save Pete and still protect his secret. Meanwhile, Jonathan begins to suffer the consequences of his deal with Jor-El.

-Recruit
Clark is approached by Met U for recruitment and meets Geoff, a former Smallville resident. It soon becomes apparent that he is using his powers to paralyze anybody who gets in his way...including Lois.

-Vengeance
Clark discovers that the new assistant at the Daily Planet, a bespectacled, bumbling woman named Andrea, is actually a mysterious female vigilante who stalks Suicide Slum. Her path crosses Clark's as they both seek the same criminal. Meanwhile, Clark's bottled-up grief threatens to get the best of him and LuthorCorp experiences a shakeup.

-Crimson
Clark is once again exposed to red kryptonite, and his "other self" goes on a rampage of sorts on Valentine's Day, kissing the women he's most attracted to and expressing his uninhibited feelings for the various relationships around him.

-Hero
Pete Ross returns to town and finds a number of surprising changes since his departure. Besides resolving his feelings toward Clark since he learned of his friend's secret, Pete has to deal with the acquisition of a superpower of his own.

-Power
Clark discovers that Lana is missing and Tess Mercer may be responsible. Tess informs Clark of startling news concerning an old friend, then discovers startling news of her own at a secret LuthorCorp facility.

this will be a tough one... as it is now, recruit and crimson are my favorites...all that hot Clana action! and the scene with Clark looking around the football stadium just before he walks away from it all is one of the most Superman-ish moments i have ever seen in this show...gonna be tough to beat that!

Velocity is one of Smallville's worst.

I actually thought Velocity was more of a true smallville episodes,clark tries to get to the bottom of petes troubles and gets into his own trouble by getting in a trunk full of kryptonite but still manages to do the accidental cause of death to the villan. And come on pete "the boss" ross.

Vengeance, most definitely. That scene at the end with Clark crying in Martha's arms as the video of Jonathan plays in the background is one of my most favourite scenes from the whole series. It was beautifully acted and heartbreaking to watch.

I also loved Clark and Chloe's scene in Metropolis as they try to lure the Angle of Vengeance. It was hilarious and AM and TW nailed it.

And I adore this line: Do you think you could ever do what she did? Play the mild-mannered reporter by day and crime -fighter by night?

I was asked why I hated Lois. I answered that question. My hatred of Lois has nothing to do with Chloe.

3. Jonathan Kent(one of my top favorite characters of the series) has a huge impact of this episode.

Vengeance is one of my favorite episodes because of the staged mugging scene. I like Kinetic too because of the scene with Chloe and Lex (verbal judo) and the Chlark hospital scene. :)

Meh... There's hardly anything to work with here. That's a pretty lame set of episodes. There are only a few that I even partially enjoyed among those, but I'll have to stick with Suspect. It was one of the most creatively written, directed, and shot episodes of the first few seasons, and it kept me guessing all the way through. It also had some stellar performances by most of the leading actors of the show at the time (MR, JG, JS, & TW).

Recruit was pretty cool, too, in its own way. The FOTW was a little less than inspired, though he wasn't a horrible actor. It had some of the funniest lines from Chloe, though, as it was the first episode after she'd found out Clark's secret but he didn't know she knew yet. Very clever and cool.

Crimson was okay. It wasn't one of my favorites, and Red K lipstick? Please. But still, cool character moments and some nice action.

Hero was fair... fairly dumb! But it had a neat retro vibe to it, and I'll say it wasn't horrible simply because it brought Pete Ross back, and I had missed him... a little bit.

Kinetic was blah. But Clark's concern for Chloe when she got thrown out of Lex's window was really nice to see. :)

Vengeance was a mixture of dark and bland for me, but it was okay. Why did they have to have such blatant product placement for Acuvue contacts, though? Lame!

And Velocity? More like "Pete Ross's Need for Speed!" LOL. Very laughable, and not in such a good way.

I voted Vengeance. It showed Clark struggling with not wanting to grieve the loss of his father and finally, at the end he does. It was a very emotional and Clark-centric episode. I thought it was beautiful.

Crimson was a joke. It was total nonsense. Chloe and Martha wouldn't have been at the dinner. Lana wouldn't have left willing with Clark</ST1:p. He would have had to carry her away. Since Lana left willingly, Lex committed felonious assault when he pointed the hand gun at <ST1:pClark. He </ST1:pcould have legally killed Lex in self defense. Of course, the only reason the episode was there was to create the bent chisel. So, Crimson is just a bent chisel episode.

Surprisingly few amount of good episode 13's. Picked season 1's Kinetic, though 6's Crimson was pretty close, as was 2's Suspect, but didn't really like any of the others.

Wow. A lot of bad episodes. Maybe the writers subconsciously doom themselves with the 13th episode because of superstition.

However, not all were bad. I'm having a hard time choosing between Vengeance and Power. Yes, I actually like Power. Not as much when I had a second viewing, but it was still good. I just didn't like what they did with the story line after that episode. Getting the suit was cool, but afterwards... eh. Vengeance, though, was a good follow up to Jonathan's death. Hmm. I'll pick Vengeance right now, but Power comes in at a close second.

I never really liked Crimson. I think I have only watched it once. May have to give it another chance, but right now I don't remember liking it very much. I usually love Red K episodes, but that one was kind of dumb.

Suspect was pretty good the first time I watched it, but after that it doesn't really hold up, since you know who the killer is. Besides, I thought it was dumb to have the killer be the Sheriff. I assume they just did it that way because no one would suspect it.

All the others sucked. Recruit was sooo boring, as much as I can remember. Kinetic I barely remember, but I'm pretty sure I didn't like it. And any episode that focused on Pete sucked. I hated his character and they always gave him horrible story lines when they focused on him. He was such a selfish jerk. At least he got beat to a bloody pulp in Velocity and Hero. That made me marginally happy.
