Yes! I agree the eclipse should have given his abiilities back, I was actually hoping it did and he just didn't realize it. But nothing was revealed about that this episode so blah...

Are you making the assumption that Claire has lost her power because of not being given the catalyst? I am not convinced that's the case yet. I assumed they wanted to give it to her BECAUSE of her powers.

it could also be, peter is not aware of his "new" powers because he is far convinced he doesn't have them.. just like the beginning of season 1.

Well, Angela can see the future, so it's possible she saw what Claire's power would be.

Also, even if Arthur stole Claire's power, he already has Adam's, so it would be kind of pointless.

The Haitian has always been able to choose who can use their powers around him. In Five Years Gone, Matt was reading Hiro's mind but Hiro wasn't able to teleport. Besides, the Haitian was focusing completely on Arthur, trying to stop his powers, so if he had've tried to stop Sylar, Arthur would've been able to use his powers.

And according to Mohinder, the formula will always give the same power, because it's based off your DNA. So Peter would gain his original absorbing power, but none of the others.

Sylar got his telekinesis back when he got his powers back. So he has all of the powers back already. Peter will have all the powers he had before and then whatever he absorbs, so hopefully he will bump into Sylar without Sylar knowing about it.
