Clark's getting a little better at the misdirection. At the end of the episode, he tells Jimmy something like, "Meet us at the hospital and I'll take Chloe in my car." (Forgot the exact words, but the gist was that Jimmy is separated from Clark and Chloe.)

Of course, we the viewers know that there's going to be a small detour up to the Fortress of Solitude. Jimmy, of course, is oblivious.

How long did that memory re-boot take to complete, anyway? Obviously, not long enough to make Jimmy suspicious.

Clark's getting a little better at avoiding discussion of things that might lead to the discovery of his secret.

I agree that his lie was pretty good. But then again, it's Jimmy Olsen who believes pretty much anything (no offense to him). He believed that his girlfriend was a government terrorist just because she avoids him and some random lady told him that. So it's not that hard to throw Jimmy off the track if he's not really thinking.

Clark WILL need to step his lying game up a bit in the future episodes since Chloe doesn't
know his secret. I have a feeling that they'll put her in a situation where Clark has to lie to her about his secret because she's lurking around (like she did in the old days).

Tee-hee! You are so right.

Yeah.

Last episode his lie was pathetic.

"She hit her head, she was hallucinating."

I laughed in Bloodline at that.

I don't remember exactly ,
but the whole conversation between Tess & Clark in Bloodline ,
was awesome !
He lied to her and played dumb ,
and did it without a sweat !

It was a lot smoother that Clark's protesting way too much when talking to Tess in Identity. I think it's partly because Clark doesn't think much of Jimmy's smarts, so he doesn't make him so nervous.

It is still a big jump Clark will have to make from a smoother, more polished liar to a superhero who states "I never lie."
