I don't know whether it was just me but I hate it when they go into the FoS. I can NEVER hear ANY of the dialogue. The sound echoes and the music is loud. Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what Jor-El and Clark were talking about, and what Braniac said at the end. If you could tell me ALL the dialogue, I would appreciate it thanks and Smallville should put the music down and dialogue louder. Thanks.

Right after Clark went 'father' and sped out of the fortress, we saw Brainiac rolling around, beginning to take over Jor'el. I heard Jor'el say something like 'My son... my son'. What exactly was he saying? Did I mishear something? Was that Jor'el talking to Clark, or Brainiac manipulating his voice? Was he pleading with Brainiac?

Hmm.

I think Joe-El wanted help. It was almost like Jor-El drank a cup of poison and was kind of choking and crying for help. If Jor-El was alive that is.

I got the impression too he was just calling for Clark to come back and help him as he was just realizing that something was wrong.

The Fortress went black so I think this is not a very good thing. It may cause major consequences later in the season.

Yeah, I do like that idea. But if Clark had come back, what could he have done? I suppose Jor'el could have wanted Clark to come back so he could warn him to stay away from the Fortress, as it was becoming infected. Ambiguous to say the least.

I'll have to go back and watch my dvr recording but from what I remember Jor-El was saying "my son, my son." Now it could have meant; as others have mentioned, that he was calling for Clark to come back for either help or to warn him.

But it could also just be that as Brainiac was taking over, it faultered the fortress causing Jor-El to repeat himself like a scratched CD.

Ahhh, that's it. The most reasonable idea yet.

Clark has a meaningful discussion with Jor-El, who informs him that the Doom symbol refers to "the ultimate destroyer", a creature bred solely for the purpose of killing. Clark vows to defeat it, and Jor-El shows pride in his son. Clark finally refers to Jor-El as "Father", and after he leaves, Brainiac takes over the Fortress, saying, "Doomsday is coming".

Clark thanked Jor-El and the two made their peace. As Clark sped away, Brainiac took control of the Fortress and declared that Doomsday was coming, and the House of El was going to fall. All of the crystals turned black.

I'd suggest finding it on YouTube if you can...it's an amazing cliffhanger.

Clark: Jor-El...I came here to thank you for what you done. Chloe's a lot safer now that she doesn't remember the truth about me. I'm just starting to realize how much I actually lost.

Jor-El: You made a difficult choice. I'm proud of you, Kal-El...but something else is troubling you.

Clark: I know we defeated Brainiac, but we may have another problem. When Chloe was losing her memory, she kept seeing the kryptonian symbol for doom in her mind.

Jor-El: The symbol for doom represents the ultimate destroyer...a kryptonian creature bred for a single purpose...to kill. It adapts and evolves to any attack. It is virtually unstoppable...and it appears...it made its way to Earth.

Clark: Brainiac was trying to contact this thing using Chloe as a vessel

Jor-El: If that is true, and it is likely the creature will find her soon

Clark: I don't care how powerful it is, I'll take it on like I have everything else.

Jor-El: I'm here for you as well my son

Clark: Thank you.....father.

*Clark speeds off*

Jor-El: My son...my son...

Brainiac: Your son is destined to fail. Soon a new age will dawn on Earth. An age of power and strength...and the fall of ...House of El.....Doomsday is coming.

Hey guys,

I was in Florida this weekend and I DVR'd the show and the last minute or so was cut off. The last thing I heard was Clark asking Jor-el about the Doom symbol.

Can anyone tell me what else was said after that.

Thanks in advance!

Clark thanked Jor-El for helping him with Chloe, and just before he left he said

'Thank you...Father'

Clark has a new respect for Jor-el, and clark super-speeds out of the Fortress.
Then the camera pans in to the crystals in the fortress and a black piece of matter (brainiac) starts to move into the crystals, and we hear Brainiac say 'Doomsday is coming' before the whole fortress turns black.
Cut to credits.

Thanks Zod.

I figured out the problem, I was watching Smallville on Sun TV, and that is why my sound was distorted. I watched it again on the CW and the FoS scene was crystal clear. Thanks everyone.

I thought Dax-UR had created Brainiac, isn't that why Brainiac wanted CLark or Bizarro to find him last season? so he could fix him

----- Added 3 Minutes later -----

I felt kinda sad for Jor-El, just when he is getting close to Clark, he gets infected :(

I thought Dax-UR had created Brainiac, isn't that why Brainiac wanted CLark or Bizarro to find him last season? so he could fix himIt's been mentioned in the series in bits and pieces:

Brainiac's programming was designed long ago on the planet Krypton by the scientist Dax-Ur (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Dax-Ur), who abandoned his work when he found it had the capacity to destroy entire planets, if not Krypton itself. Brainiac was created to be a super computer that ran Krypton on a daily basis so technology did not have to be manually operated. [1] (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Brainiac#cite_note-0)

Years later, Jor-El created his own humanoid version of Brainiac to aid in the war against General Zod (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/General_Zod). However, its system was corrupted by Zod to aid in his efforts to take over Krypton. Brainiac then aided Zod and often conversed with his disciples (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Disciples_of_Zod) about various attacks on Krypton's major cities and government buildings.
Zor-El (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Zor-El), Jor-El's brother, planned (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Kara_and_the_Chronicles_of_Krypton) to destroy Krypton in order to fulfill Rao's prophecy (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Rao%27s_prophecy). He asked Brainiac to override the lockdown that Jor-El had placed on Kandor (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Kandor)'s mine. Brainiac did so, allowing Zor-El to ignite Krypton's core and destroy the planet. After Zod was captured, Brainiac was uploaded into the Black Ship (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Ship) and sent to Earth along with two of Zod's disciples, Nam-Ek (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Nam-Ek) and Aethyr (http://smallville.wikia.com/wiki/Aethyr).
