Previously on SMALLVILLE:
Chloe was captured and taken to 33.1. Then a bounty hunter gave Clark the choice of dying…Clark chose Chloe. Finally, after an identity crisis of Bizarro, a package was sent to Clark’s house. Clark opened it with Lois and they went to the Phantom Zone. There, they met Kara. But Zod’s wife Faora, possessed Lois. Kara and Clark had to fight Faora inside of Lois. Finally after defeating Lois, Jimmy made a deal with Milton Fine. Chloe came back to Clark’s place.
And now “Abyss”…
KENT HOUSE, THANKSGIVING DAY:
Clark cooks in the kitchen with Chloe’s help trying to get the turkey and food ready for tonight…
“Thanks Chloe for helping me,” Clark told Chloe.
“Hey, what are friends for? Besides, taking the whole being wrapped as a mummy thing and then rising up from the dead…it’s the least I could do!” she replied.
“Hey, I wouldn’t be a big fan of ‘Mummy Girl’ either! I’m glad you’re back Chloe,” Clark said.
“A-H-H-H!!” Chloe cried.
“Chloe?” Clark questioned her.
Chloe fell down and fainted.
Clark picked her up and super sped away.
INSIDE CHLOE’S HEAD…1998, SMALLVILLE SCHOOL CLASSROOM:
Clark stepped in and the teacher began her lesson. Chloe entered…
“Okay class, I want you to give a nice warm welcome to Chloe Sullivan who just moved here from…uh…uh…welcome Chloe, to 1st grade,” she told Chloe.
“Thanks,” Chloe replied.

PRESENT DAY, LATER AT HOSPITAL:
Clark talks to a doctor…
“Is Chloe going to be okay?” Clark asked the doctor.
“She’s in a coma. I’m doing everything I can do for her,” the doctor replied.
“Well, do more!” Clark replied, walking off.
Clark made a call to Ollie.
IRELAND:
Midnight on the top level of a castle, Green Arrow answers his telephone…
“Hello?” Green Arrow questioned the telephone caller.
“It’s Clark,” he replied.
“Clark, I’m a little busy right now! What’s up…Lois isn’t home or do you always call my private line?” Ollie questioned Clark.
“Chloe is in a coma,” Clark replied.
“Chloe is in a coma? Everyone scream! Run! What do you want me to do Clark? I’m on the other side of the world! I mean, last time I checked, my fuel was out of super speeding to the hospital!” Ollie said.
“Ollie, come on!” Clark begged.
“Fine Clark. I’ll be down there in one hour or two. Right now I’m chasing ghosts and goblins!” Ollie replied.
“Isn’t Halloween over?” Clark questioned him.
“Not for me! You see, I don’t go door to door looking for candy! I go door to door busting drug dealers or a mob, not trick or treating!” Ollie replied.
“Speaking of trick or treat?” Ollie said.
“Isn’t it past your bedtime ladies?” Ollie questioned.
“We don’t have a bedtime! We get our way on whatever we want!” an anonymous woman voice said.
“Is that so? Lex really did hire you! Three sisters with the power to turn invisible and pretend to be ghostly! You are good!” Arrow told them.
“Try to catch us if you can!” she told Arrow.
“Catch…I’m not a fan of! But tag…you’re it!” Ollie replied.
Ollie turned on his x-ray glasses and began to fire at the invisible sisters one by one. The sisters fell out of the sky to the ground.
“Oh come on! I win! You’re not very good at this game! Let’s try another approach…where’s Lex?” Ollie questioned them.
“He did say you would be close, but you’ll never find him!” she said.
“Never say never! See you ladies later. Bye bye for now…oh, that arrow I shot you with causes you to loose your powers and fall asleep!” Ollie told them walking away.
“No! No!” they screamed.
1998, SMALLVILLE AFTER SCHOOL:
Little Chloe and little Pete with Clark, all talk…
“You hear that Chloe? They’re playing our song, ‘Pete and Chloe’!” Pete told her.
“What song? Oh, and by the way Petee boy, it’s Romeo and Juliet!” Chloe corrected him.
“Wow! Wow! Well, you want to come to my place or should I go to yours?” Pete asked her.
“Little quick there Romeo! Don’t you think?” Chloe questioned him.
“Don’t mind cupid! He’s just plain and stupid!” Clark said.
“Nice rhyme…you’re a poet and didn’t even know it!” Chloe replied.
“Thanks, but…” Clark said and Pete interrupted.
“But I’m the rapper who’s a trapper for his beautiful clapper!” Pete replied.
“Nice!” Chloe chuckled.
“Hey, I got an idea…how about we kick it at Clark’s place?” Pete questioned.
“Uh?” Clark questioned back.
“Kick it?’ Chloe asked Pete back again.
“Yeah! You know, kick it with the beautiful hot chick…you, me and our waiter slave Clark!” Pete replied.
“Slave?” Clark questioned Pete’s insanity.
“Yeah Clark! Let’s hang at your place! It’s nice and big and you could get your eyes off of Lana the lover!” Pete replied.
“Fine, let’s go…and she’s not Lana the lover!” Clark replied.

PRESENT DAY…AT THE HOSPITAL:
Davis Bloome walks up to Clark when Jimmy comes in…
“I heard and came as soon as I could. Is she gonna’ be all right?” Davis asked Clark. A doctor walked in the room.
“How’s my girl?” Jimmy asked the doctor.
“Is she going to be all right?” Davis questioned her.
“Yes, no and yes. Just who the devil are you?” the doctor questioned them.
“I’m her fiancée,” Jimmy replied.
“And I’m just a friend,” Davis said.
“Well then…there’s no hope for this kind of coma…sorry,” the doctor said walking away.
1998, SMALLVILLE…KENT BARN:
Little Clark, Chloe and Pete walk in with Jonathan Kent standing right there…
“Hi dad,” Clark told him.
“Hey Mr. K,” Pete said.
“Dad, these are my friends,” Clark explained.
“Oh, who’s the young, pretty lady?” Jonathan questioned Clark.
“Um…this is Chloe,” Clark said.
“Nice to meet you Chloe,” Jonathan said.
“Thank you Mr. Kent…you got a bright young boy,” Chloe replied.
“Sweet! Well now, let’s kick it out at my house now!” Pete said.
“Whose house?” Jonathan questioned Pete.
“Oh, yours!” Pete replied walking out with Chloe.
“See ‘ya later dad,” Clark told Jonathan, walking out.
Outside the barn…
“Let’s shoot some hoops!” Pete said.
“Actually, I want to see the view from the top inside the barn!” Chloe said.
“Okay beautiful, but remember they’re playing our song!” Pete said.
“In your dreams!” Clark replied.
Clark took Chloe up to the top floor in the barn…
“This is the telescope…and this is…” Clark explained being interrupted by Chloe.
“Forget that! I know what you’ve been thinking all day…and I like you too…” Chloe said, kissing him on the cheek.
Pete came up.
“Everything okay?” Pete questioned.
“Fine,” Chloe said.
“Great,” Clark said.
“Dude, a limo just pulled up in your dad’s driveway,” Pete said.
“Let’s take a closer look,” Chloe said.
Jonathan Kent meets with a mysterious figure in the driveway…
“I told you, get the son of a twitch off my property!” Jonathan yelled!
“You owe Lionel his debt! Clark’s blood is all he asks for!” the mysterious figure explained.
“Fine,” Jonathan replied.
“Telling the world about your son is gonna’ make me a very rich man Mr. Kent!” he said.
“Why you little son of a bloody twitch!” Jonathan yelled throwing him to the ground and beating him to death!
“Why did your dad just murder someone?” Chloe questioned Clark.
“I don’t know! I don’t know,” Clark replied.

PRESENT DAY…AT THE HOSPITAL:
Ollie arrives to see Clark…
“Where’s Chloe?” Ollie questioned him.
“She’s gone! Abducted!” Clark replied.
“I know where she is,” Ollie replied, walking out.
LUTHOR MANSION, A FEW MINUTES LATER:
Ollie enters in with Tess standing there…
“You stupid son of a twitch!” Ollie yelled!
“Excuse me?” she questioned him.
“I mean using me as your sex pistol when you get lonely is one thing, but stooping to kidnapping little girls in hospital’s are another!” Ollie said.
“Tell me, do you come in every time and accuse me of doing something wrong or is it just me?” she asked him.
“Where the bloody son of a twitch is Chloe Sullivan? No lies! The truth if you ever loved me!” he demanded!
“Direct for a playboy-want-to-be-drunkie!” Tess said.
“Stop playing your act! No acts anymore…the truth!” he demanded!
“Good bye Tess. If I find you had anything to do with this, you won’t be sitting in that chair!” Ollie said, beginning to walk out.
“Yes, yes and yes!” she replied.
“What?” he questioned her.
“Yes, you were my sex pistol…yes, I know where Chloe is…and yes, I know who has her! Let’s go!” she said grabbing a gun from her pocket.
“Let’s?” he questioned her confused.
“Let’s go rescue Chloe!” Tess said.
“Lead the way!” Ollie replied.
HOSPITAL:
Clark waits…Kara enters the room as a nurse…
“Kara?” Clark questioned her.
“It is you!” Kara replied.
“How?” Clark questioned her again.
“Shush! I’m the doctor now! I know how to save Chloe, but I’m going to need your help,” Kara explained.
“How?” Clark asked again.
“The Fortress!” she replied.
“Kara, the Fortress is gone!” Clark said.
“No, it’s not! here’s a crystal to restore it. Go now, doctor’s orders!” Kara said smiling.
Clark super sped off.
“Go get her Clark!” Kara said super speeding off.
1998, SMALLVILLE:
Clark calls Chloe from his house…
“Chloe, my dad’s gone!” Clark said.
“I’ll be right over,” Chloe replied.
Later, Chloe and Clark investigate where Clark’s dad is while in the woods…
“So, where’s daddy dearest?” Chloe asked Clark.
“I know,” Clark super sped off to a shed.
“Clark?” Chloe questioned.
Clark went to a shed and went inside where he saw his dad being held in chains…
“Dad!” Clark said.
“Run son!” Jonathan yelled.
A mysterious figure hit Clark in the head as he was taking the chains off of his dad. The mysterious figure then shape shifted into a purple poisonous rattlesnake.
“Clark, get back!” Jonathan yelled, grabbing a gun and shooting the snake.
Chloe walked in.
“What was that?” Chloe questioned Clark.
“Just a snake,” Clark replied.
Chloe took a picture.
“Weird…well Clark, what are you…man or superman?” Chloe asked Clark.
“Just plain old farm boy I’m afraid,” Clark replied.
PRESENT DAY…AT THE SAME TIME:
Tess walked to a ‘suicide slums’ old beat up house and walked in…
“Chloe’s in here,” Tess told Ollie.
“Did Casper and the mysterious machine team up, or is it just me?” Ollie questioned her.
“Take it easy playboy!” Tess said.
Tess opened a door and saw Chloe on a table with a mysterious man standing over her.
“Hey, get away from her!” Ollie yelled.
The mysterious figure shape shifted into a purple rattlesnake.
“Son of a twitch!” Tess said.
“Don’t move!” Ollie told Tess.
Kara super sped into the room.
The purple snake began to multiply. Kara heat visioned it.
1998 SMALLVILLE:
“So, if you’re not man or superman and you’re a farm boy, what are you really Clark Kent…ace reporter for the Daily Planet?” Chloe said.
“Afraid not Chloe,” Clark replied.
“Hey, that’s weird…a purple fragment of meteor rock!” Chloe said.
SMALLVILLE HIGHSCHOOL PROM:
Clark and Chloe dance when Clark speeds off…Chloe sees a mysterious girl’s eyes turn green.
SMALLVILLE HIGHSCHOOL, FINAL YEAR:
Alicia, Clark’s teleporting wife, shows Chloe Clark’s secret. Alicia calls Clark but someone else watches in the background.
PRESENT YEAR:
Jimmy proposes to Chloe…she says yes. Red flashing lights show Davis Bloome as the destroyer! Krypton. Jor-El creates the brainiac interactive construct!
(Blackout)
CHLOE WAKES UP:
“Chloe?” Ollie questions.
Chloe falls flat dead.
Kara grabs Chloe and super speeds away.
The purple snake shape shifted back into the mysterious man.
“Who are you?” Ollie questioned him.
“Sirus! Help me!” he replied.
FORTRESS:
Clark threw the crystal and the Fortress began to grow back. Kara super sped Chloe to Clark…
“Chloe…is she…” Clark questioned Kara.
“No! Clark, before you do this, you should know…” Kara explained.
“Hello my son!” Jor-El said.
“Bring Chloe back!” Clark yelled.
“Clark, you have feelings for this woman, don’t you!” Kara asked him.
“Kara, this isn’t the time for this right now!” Clark said.
“Then when is?” Kara questioned.
“Help me save her Kara, please!” Clark cried.
Kara lifted Chloe into the air!

NEXT MORNING:
Clark talks to Chloe at the Talon…
“Chloe, I was doing some digging to see who abducted you…and you’ve actually been with him a lot,” Clark explained.
“Clark, I’m a big girl now!” Chloe replied.
Sirus walks in the room.
“You stay away from her!” Clark told Sirus.
“Relax! I’m not here to hurt her…just for a hug and goodbye!” Sirus replied.
“Clark, it’s my brother,” Chloe replied.
“It’s true, it runs in the family…the whole meteor freak thing,” Sirus explained.
“Well, if you’ll excuse me, I have some errands,” Chloe said.
“Chloe, tomorrow is your wedding,” Clark said.
“Bye,” Chloe walked out.
DAVIS’ APARTMENT:
Chloe knocks…
“Chloe, what are you doing here?” Davis questioned her.
“Can I stay here for awhile?” she asked him back.
“Sure. What about Jimmy?” Davis questioned him back.
“Jimmy’s history!” Chloe smiled!
Davis closed the door!
KENT BARN, LATER THAT NIGHT:
Clark and Kara talk…
“Clark, I think it’s time I go,” Kara said.
“Stay?” Clark said.
“No. I’ve found Kandor! I have to go. Good-bye Kal-El…I mean Clark!” Kara said flying off.
“Good-bye Kara!” Clark replied.
Lois came up the stairs.

“Weird…well Clark, what are you…man or superman?” Chloe asked Clark.

PRESENT DAY…AT THE SAME TIME:
Tess walked to a ‘suicide slums’ old beat up house and walked in…
“Chloe’s in here,” Tess told Ollie.
“Did Casper and the mysterious machine team up, or is it just me?” Ollie questioned her.
“Take it easy playboy!” Tess said.
Tess opened a door and saw Chloe on a table with a mysterious man standing over her.
“Hey, get away from her!” Ollie yelled.
The mysterious figure shape shifted into a purple rattlesnake.
“Son of a twitch!” Tess said.
“Don’t move!” Ollie told Tess.
Kara super sped into the room.
The purple snake began to multiply. Kara heat visioned it.
1998 SMALLVILLE:
“So, if you’re not man or superman and you’re a farm boy, what are you really Clark Kent…ace reporter for the Daily Planet?” Chloe said.
“Afraid not Chloe,” Clark replied.
“Hey, that’s weird…a purple fragment of meteor rock!” Chloe said.
SMALLVILLE HIGHSCHOOL PROM:
Clark and Chloe dance when Clark speeds off…Chloe sees a mysterious girl’s eyes turn green.
SMALLVILLE HIGHSCHOOL, FINAL YEAR:
Alicia, Clark’s teleporting wife, shows Chloe Clark’s secret. Alicia calls Clark but someone else watches in the background.
PRESENT YEAR:
Jimmy proposes to Chloe…she says yes. Red flashing lights show Davis Bloome as the destroyer! Krypton. Jor-El creates the brainiac interactive construct!
(Blackout)
CHLOE WAKES UP:
“Chloe?” Ollie questions.
Chloe falls flat dead.
Kara grabs Chloe and super speeds away.
The purple snake shape shifted back into the mysterious man.
“Who are you?” Ollie questioned him.
“Sirus! Help me!” he replied.
FORTRESS:
Clark threw the crystal and the Fortress began to grow back. Kara super sped Chloe to Clark…
“Chloe…is she…” Clark questioned Kara.
“No! Clark, before you do this, you should know…” Kara explained.
“Hello my son!” Jor-El said.
“Bring Chloe back!” Clark yelled.
“Clark, you have feelings for this woman, don’t you!” Kara asked him.
“Kara, this isn’t the time for this right now!” Clark said.
“Then when is?” Kara questioned.
“Help me save her Kara, please!” Clark cried.
Kara lifted Chloe into the air!

(Blackout)
NEXT MORNING:
Clark talks to Chloe at the Talon…
“Chloe, I was doing some digging to see who abducted you…and you’ve actually been with him a lot,” Clark explained.
“Clark, I’m a big girl now!” Chloe replied.
Sirus walks in the room.
“You stay away from her!” Clark told Sirus.
“Relax! I’m not here to hurt her…just for a hug and goodbye!” Sirus replied.
“Clark, it’s my brother,” Chloe replied.
“It’s true, it runs in the family…the whole meteor freak thing,” Sirus explained.
“Well, if you’ll excuse me, I have some errands,” Chloe said.
“Chloe, tomorrow is your wedding,” Clark said.
“Bye,” Chloe walked out.
DAVIS’ APARTMENT:
Chloe knocks…
“Chloe, what are you doing here?” Davis questioned her.
“Can I stay here for awhile?” she asked him back.
“Sure. What about Jimmy?” Davis questioned him back.
“Jimmy’s history!” Chloe smiled!
Davis closed the door!
KENT BARN, LATER THAT NIGHT:
Clark and Kara talk…
“Clark, I think it’s time I go,” Kara said.
“Stay?” Clark said.
“No. I’ve found Kandor! I have to go. Good-bye Kal-El…I mean Clark!” Kara said flying off.
“Good-bye Kara!” Clark replied.
Lois came up the stairs.
