Ollie said ,"You have to be in the right frame of mind before you fly" or something close to that.
In season one we see him float and we've already seen Kal fly. You think maybe this is it?

I think if they get a season 9 we may get it as the last episode of season 8.

I hope so. I also hope they use superbreath more and develop his icebreath power.

It would be fun to see him learn to fly I've always thought. I loved how they worked things with his heat vision...that was great...it's been so darn long with this no flight thing that it seems so silly to me that he's not flying already. You don't have to be wearing a cape to fly...just do it already.

At the rate things are going, Shelby will probably fly before Clark.

I'd just really like to see him try it and find out how enjoyable it is and just see him have fun.

As soon as Kara got to Earth she could fly. As soon as the Phantom became Bizarro he could fly. As soon as Lex became Zod he could fly. As soon as Jor-el came to Earth he could fly…… But after 20 years of living on Earth Clark still can’t fly. It really is ridiculous now.

exactly, its ridiculous and tiresome. Dude is now 21 and able to drink with Lois but can't fly. Annoying.

I could accept the fact that he couldn't fly from season 1 through 6, but now it is just kinda stupid. He has met the Justice League, he has faced some of his worst enemies, and he has seen a lot of people fly. It's time for Clark to make the leap!

I agree...the flight needs to be developed soon. I'd like it to be a gradual event, though, rather than a one-episode job.

It is quite close. They have been planning for him to fly from last year even. They said that this would be the series rule to be broken but they have to develop Clark's character a little longer for that.

I have a feeling there will be a couple situations where he needs to fly and he doesn't. Something bad happens as a result. Then when Lois' life is on the line and the only way to save her is flight. He'll get it done.

As others have said, I think it'd be awesome to see him progressively working on his flying abilities. From ridiculously long superjumps across Metropolis, to ackward jittery practice and finally his mastery of flight for some big season ending event (maybe the only way he can save, Lois, is to buck up and take flight against _____.)
