Why do you think Tess was crying before Sebastian came in?

I think either she misses Lex, or she isn't really over Ollie. Whatever the reason, I think it helped humanize her a bit.

Also, could someone please answer a question for me. Why did Tess send the mugger after Jimmy? I missed that.

I think she's trying to find out who took the crystal. They went to Jimmy after Lois when Sebastian confirmed Lois didn't know about it.

Tess is obsessed with finding Lex. He fills some great need she has. I say it was about him

Yeah, she sent the 'mugger' to kidnap them it looked like-so she could question/torture them maybe? It was kind of a weak plot point imho, because she had a guy who could read memories, so why the hell would she need to kidnap them? And why would she suspect Jimmy anyways?

But as the rest of the episode was awesome, I'll let that weak part of the plot slide.

A lot of people are thinking that she might be, or bisexual. lol, who knows? It seems like the writers are implying it.

She has to runall of Lex's business and on top of that is frantically looking for him (in Offscreenville) and recruits meteor-infected, forming the army Lex had in mind. I wondered the same thing. Since she seems to be Obsessed with finding Lex, maybe her strong feelings about him are the cause. All they told us about her is that she had some strong connection to Lex and it's all tied up in her past...And Lex's past. It's supposed to be part of the Mystery that IS Tess Mercer. We're supposed to find out a lot more about her as the season goes along, I guess.

I was gonna say over Lex but I dunno now! Maybe she realised she should've checked the small print in Mr Luthor's handwritten instructions cos I'm sure she's cracking up over the 3 and a half million projects Lex had going on before he went AWOL. Between that and having to do her hair in that 'look-at-me-I-am-a-professional-and-can-look-after-myself-thanks' style, she probably just couldn't cope any more :lol:
