“Downfall of a Droid”

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…
The Clone Wars spread. As the nine rookie Clone Troopers are victorious to the destruction of the Malevolence and to the alliance with King Katuunko, the war appears to be near an end. The Separatist are losing. Now, in the middle of a space battle, Anakin and Ahsoka along with R2-D2, try to dodge attacks by Dooku’s droid army of ships…
IN BATTLE:
Dooku’s droid ship fires at Anakin and Ahsoka’s Jedi Starfighter with R2-D2 piloting them…
“Hold on Snips!” Anakin said.
“R2, fire!” Ahsoka told R2.
“Bleep! Bleep!” R2 replied.
Anakin ducks fire from the enemy ships when a droid ship fired at the engine. R2 moved to sacrifice himself for the ship. The blaster fired by the droid ship, hits R2 and kills him! R2 falls off the ship!
“NO!” Ahsoka cried.
“I’m sorry Snips. I’m sorry,” Anakin replied.
LATER:
At the Jedi Temple, Ahsoka and Anakin mourn over R2’s death. Obi-Wan enters…
“Where’s R2?” Obi-Wan questioned.
“Master, we lost him,” Anakin replied.
Padme’ walks in.
“R2 gone?” Padme questioned.
“Excuse me, but that new droid you ordered is here,” Captain Rex told Obi-Wan.
“You ordered a droid?” Ahsoka asked Obi-Wan.
“To replace R2. We need him for the war!” Obi-Wan replied.
“You think we can just replace R2?” Ahsoka asked Obi-Wan.
Jedi Master Mace Windu walked in with R3-D3.
“That’s who’s replacing R2?” Ahsoka asked.
“R3-D3 is the best R3 unit around!” Mace Windu said.
“Master, how could you?” Anakin asked Obi-Wan.
“I took the liberty of finding R3 myself,” Obi-Wan replied.
“Bleep! Bleep!” R3 told Obi-Wan.
“What is it?” Obi-Wan questioned R3.
“Bleep! Bleep!” R3 replied.
“R3 says ‘follow him’,” Obi-Wan explained.
Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Captain Rex and Padme’ followed R3 to a dead Clone Trooper lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
“Wait, who would do this?” Padme’ questioned.
“Bleep! Bleep!” R3 said.
“R3 says it is Ahsoka!” Obi-Wan replied.
“That’s impossible!” Anakin said.
“R3 says he has proof of you killing the Clone Trooper!” Obi-Wan replied to Ahsoka.
“What proof?” Ahsoka asked Obi-Wan.
“Show them R3!” Obi-Wan told R3-D3.
R3 played footage of Ahsoka cutting off the Clone Trooper’s head with her light saber.
“She is a traitor! Take her away!” Mace Windu told Captain Rex.
“I didn’t do it! I didn’t do it!” Ahsoka yelled being taken away by Captain Rex.
“Master, why would she do this?” Anakin asked Obi-Wan.
“That’s just it, I don’t know…I don’t know,” Obi-Wan replied.
(Blackout)
THE NEXT MORNING:
Anakin looks for a new padawan with auditions…
“And why should I choose you as my padawan?” Anakin asked a twi’lek boy.
“Because I can use the ‘force’!” he replied.
“Next!” Anakin said.
“Hi, I’m a padawan. Well, actually I’m a youngling training to be a padawan. But, I can be a padawan because you can teach me! I don’t know how to use the ‘force’…” a
Zor-bek girl said.
“Next!” Anakin yelled!
“Hi, my name is Runne. I am a Zor-bek. You’re a Jedi, a real Jedi! I’m not a real Jedi! So how many battles have you gone on? 20? 30? 40? 50? 1000? I’ve gone on 1! I was a baby!” Runne replied.
“Great! You’re my padawan!” Anakin replied.
“Really? I’m your padawan? Wow! I am your padawan!” Runne said.
“Now, get dressed and ready for battle!” Anakin told Runne.
Obi-Wan walked in.
“Looking for a new padawan eh?” Obi-Wan questioned Anakin.
“Yes, and I found one!” Anakin replied.
“Good, and just in time! R3 has just discovered four dead padawan murdered by Ahsoka! Come on!” Obi-Wan told Anakin.
“Let’s go!” Anakin replied.
INSIDE THE JEDI TEMPLE:
Obi-Wan and Anakin look at the four dead padawan…
“Not again!” Anakin said.
“Oh yes, I’m afraid so. And Ahsoka is missing!” Obi-Wan replied.
“Bleep, bleep! Bleep, bleep!” R3 said.
“R3 said there is a separatist fleet about to invade Rugosa!” Obi-Wan said.
Anakin’s new padawan, Runne, walks in.
“Hey Runne, want to see a battle up close?” Anakin asked Runne.
“Really? Really? Let’s go!” Runne replied.
ANAKIN AND RUNNE IN A REPUBLICAN GUNSHIP:
They fly off to Rugosa. Anakin and Runne attack the droid ships. Two droid ships fall, the other four surrender to the Jedi…
“We are victorious!” a Clone Trooper yells in the Republican Gunship!
“Did we win?” Anakin questioned.
“Or did we lose?” Runne replied.
(Blackout)
LATER:
In the Jedi Council room, Obi-Wan talks…
“The war was won too easily…too short!” Obi-Wan says.
“Was it? Or was it won at all?” Yoda questioned Obi-Wan.
“Agree. This was a set-up! Dooku wanted us to win, but why?” Mace Windu questions Yoda.
IN THE HALL:
R3 talks to Ventress on a transmission…
“Bleep bleep, bleep bleep bleep!” R3 tells her.
“Excellent! We have them right where we want them!” Ventress replies.
Captain Rex enters the hallway…
“What was that?” Ventress questions.
“Sith scum!!” Rex replies.
“Get him!” Ventress tells R3.
R3 attacks Rex with a rope and chokes him! Rex falls down dead! R3 walks away.
AT THE TWILIGHT SHIP:
Ahsoka turns the engines on. Anakin enters…
“You really think you could leave without me?” Anakin questioned her.
“I didn’t do it Master! I didn’t!” Ahsoka cried.
“I know!” Anakin replied hugging her.
Padme’ entered.
“I’m coming too!” Padme’ replied.
C-3PO entered.
“Oh bless my circuits! Let’s save R-2ee!” C-3PO said.
”I told C-3PO that R2 is alive and that he could come for the ride!” Padme’ replied.
“Let’s go! Strap in!” Anakin said.
Obi-Wan entered.
“I can’t let you leave Anakin! You’re under arrest for breaking Ahsoka free!” Obi-Wan told Anakin.
“Good bye Master!” Anakin told Obi-Wan.
The Twilight begins to take-off the ground. Obi-Wan jumped off! Anakin took off.
“May the ‘force’ be with you!” Obi-Wan told Anakin.
INSIDE THE TWILIGHT:
“Where too now Master?” Ahsoka asked Anakin.
“To find R2! To find R2,” Anakin replied.
“Oh dear! Oh dear!” C-3PO said.
