Wow... The way Sam delivered that line sold me about his acting skills. I mean I've always really liked him but was worried whether he would be able to pull it off. However after that delivery which felt so painful and so hurt sold me. Sam Witwer is Doomsday.. with a conscience. Viva Smallville!

I disagree. I'm just not feeling it with Davis. It feels like he's detached from the rest of the cast (to me).

I completely agree!! The tears in his eyes...and his shaky voice. I wanted to give him a hug! :lol: I was incredibly impressed with Sam/Davis tonight. The acting was amazing...and he's really doing a good job of fleshing Davis out.

Then...as for Davis, he obviously has feelings for Chloe....and he's fighting his "dark side." I love that he trusts Chloe enough to tell her the truth....

He was just awesome tonight. :)

I LOVE that we finally has someone on the show that will get right back in Clarks face...and say "hey...you know what, two can play at this game!"

Davis gives me goosebump, everytime he comes on I'd swear I had this mental image of his sharp teeth growing out, eyes become red, skins turn grey...stuff like dat.

I kind of felt guilty during the shower scene. Who knew he was so....ripped? It's this intense scene...and all I can do it stare!! :eek::p

So yes...I did enjoy that scene.....:lol:

I completely agree with you. "I think I am the killer" was performed extremely well, especially with the horrified tears in Davis' eyes. I love that scene the most.

He's sitting there trying to figure out why he's covered in blood thats not his...and all I can think is "Oh camera....please pan out again, lets see those abs!!" :rotfl:

PS3 are doing it just right. I completely love Davis...and thats knowing what he's going to become. I cant help it....he so badly wants to be a good person. I just feel for him...:\

It really was a serious scene *amazing arms* that we should all try to appreciate *six pack* for its intense *eyes* forshadowing....

In no way did the beautiful naked man sway my attention away from the scene...nope...not one bit. Even if his arms are toned.....or that cute cleft chin all wet....and those abs.....ugh, dont get me started on those......:o

I loved that he called Clark out without hesitation that Clark should be more careful about his 'activities' (not his exact wording but that was the gist of it to me....) appearing in some of the pictures at crime scenes etc. He stood face to face and didn't back down. I thought that was a good sign that he's not afraid to stand up and say something........good look at things to come that Davis will not just roll over.....

Yeah, I liked that was well. It was kind of a foreshadowing with what will happen with them later, in a sense.

ITA. The only thing that really bothers me is that I DO like Davis. I don't want him to go bad. Also, I REALLY like Chloe when she is with him. She just kind of glows in their scenes together. That doesn't happen with Jimmy...Although, I do love Jimmy

The best thing was the confrontation scene with Clark. The mirroring of Davis and Clark was wonderfully done by the writers and wonderfully executed by the Tom, Sam and the director.

Next was his whole investigation into himself. I mean imagine if Clark didn't have Jonathan and Martha and had to just figure out what he was? The shower scene was wonderful. Hey the shower scene is part of Davis' self discovery!

Finally the gentleness of his scenes with Chloe. He speaks to her in this soft voice. Those doe eyes. <3 But seriously they don't come off at all like a soap opera. I'm glad to see that the depth I felt in "Plastique" is carrying over into this episode.

Anywho, all his appearances in this one were awesome and what brilliant acting from the guy. :eek:
