Kick her ass Mike!

Oh no! Poor KITT! I wasn't expecting that.
I'm glad they're not making KITT completely invulnerable. That definately adds alot of suspense to the show.

I think Justin (Mike Knight) looks alot like Ricky Martin.
LOL! He called KITT'S system reboot "go night-night." :rotfl:
Oh lord, here we go. Hypothermia.... Another cheap excuse for boobage.

whew, for a minute I thought this was gonna be one of those "fully clothed & serious" episodes. KITTs never let me down yet!

Boobs are fine, but it makes it seem like the writers don't have the necessary confidence in their own scripts, and have to resort to cheap gimmicks to draw in viewers. That's very sad. :(

Please tell me this isn't basically the same script as the episode where the bad guys try to blow up the Nuclear plant.
Now they've just substituted a dam for a nuclear plant.

I apologize if I sound like I'm being overly critical. I'm really not meaning to be. I really want this show to be great, and be a hit, but they are following the same generic formula as I mentioned a few pages back.
Now we need an explosion, and death of a bad guy, then back to the KITT-cave.

no need to apologize, lord knows I'm a prick when it comes to Smallville, I can't help myself, I feel too much sometimes.

Lol! I know they are just TV shows, and I tell myself not to take them so seriously.
But part of me gets bent out of shape, knowing that there are actually people out there getting paid decent money,to come up with such generic, and sometimes mindless scripts. Many of these are just re-hashed scripts from 30 years ago.
Are they seriously thinking there is safety in sticking to "the formula?"
What happened to "innovative" and "unexpected?" Surely somebody out there can pull us out of this rut.

Well I did very much like this episode for one thing it was just Mike and his car this time around (I asdmit as much as I love Sarah and her baby blue eyes, KITT and Mike needed some quality time by themselves and they got it this time around with Sarah helping from afar like Bonnie did in the classic show although Bonnie did not kick arse as well as Sarah does at least not that I recall,ok getting a bit off topic here... Anyway as I was saying overall it was a pretty good episode, sure it was a bit formulaic but it worked... I give it an 8 out of 10. OH and I love how KITT is forming a very solid bond with Mike and Sarah.:D

This episode turned out rather well in my opinion...but is it really too much to expect the characters to keep their clothes on, and not try to "shack up" every chance they get?!
The whole ending where Mike tells "Mrs. 007" that he's devoted to Sarah struck me two ways at once. On the surface, knowing he didn't go through with it was sweet...but on the other hand, a better move would've been for the writers to avoid the "hypothermia scenario" like the plague!

So if this one was predictable (I haven't seen it yet)... does that mean someone from Mike's military past returns?

No, but it has a militant type group, and a spy chick.

Whenever Mike is out on a mission on his own, Sarah is always checking the video feed, and spying on him. She likes him, but that's a still a bit "stalkerish."

This is easily my favorite episode so far! The effects were just about perfect, KITT's humor was great and I even liked the romantic birthday surprise at the end of the episode.
I was not a fan of the KITT truck but I am changing my mind. The drive/fly through the minefield was awesome. There were quite a few scenes that reminded me of the original, not least of which was Mike jumping from KITT to the back of the truck.
I am very, very pleased with this episode and the series really does seem to improve with every episode. I hate having to wait 2 weeks for another episode. However it's far better to wait 2 weeks than the over 20 years between (good) episodes of Knight Rider.
This has now become my favorite (current) show followed very closely by Terminator: SCC. (I also watch Smallville, I just haven't posted anything there yet.)

I did have fun with this episode and I didn't mind too much the hypothermia scene as they didn't sex it up too much.
I liked the truck in this one as they kept him the truck for longer than two seconds. The Billy learning to fight bit was too small to be needed in the episode though. And we got another episode without Carrie which just makes me wonder why she is on the show at all.

Even I said please can we get a woman with clothing here. And lets face it I Never say women need more clothing but this episode it was clear the writers only wrote in the hypothermia scene to get her out of her clothes and make sarah jealous. I think smallville is much better at covering up thier sex with actual storylines so it doesn't look like they are purely trying to make the T and A show.

I think "Smallville" is much better at covering up their sex with actual storylines...Not by much, at least in recent years. They've had pretty much every couple shacking up: Lex & Lana, Lois & Oliver, Chloe & Jimmy...but when they had Clark & Lana "join the club", that royally p!$$ed me off. I was more than thankful when that storyline was abandoned; I hope they don't use Lana's return as an excuse to bring it back. :(

Ummm.... No the hypothermia angle came as a result that the story had them jump into a darn river hence them trying to fight off hypothermia latter on...

as people else where calls it, arm-porn.
Look, so they were naked. They wrote the whole jumping in the river part just to get them naked. But at least it makes sense. you really need to take off wet clothes when you are trying to fight off hypothermia.
i am fine with the nakedness, just as long as it makes sense.
