Hmm - did Oliver send that letter to Tess?

Oliver wasn't even at the Ace of Clubs or whatever the club is called. I'm not sure he's the one who sent her the dress or the letter. I think it was this "X" person. We saw the interaction between Tess and Oliver last week. I don't think he's trying to get her to meet him. Someone else is behind this. What do you all think?

I doub't it was Oliver, he's not after Tess like that.......sides, Queen Industries needs Luthor Corp to keep them in buisuness, and stealing a crystal wouldnt work, lol...( though Wayne Industries is prob aroudn the corner)

I was actually talking about the letter and dress. She thought it was from Oliver. I guess the card said it was from Oliver, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't him. I think the person who sent her the letter/dress is the same person who sent her the e-mail. I think TPTB are trying to make us think it is Lex, but that really wouldn't make sense. It would be good if Lionel weren't really dead - but that wouldn't be really realistic. It make a lot of sense if it were Brainia or Cholianiac or however their name merges.

I think maybe someone was trying to lure her out of the mansion so they could take the crystal which they managed to pull off.

I was actually thinking it could be Lex too, or that the show wanted us to think so, because it was so ambiguous and we can't have MR back so . . .

But I'll guess we'll see.

Ok, big time way out there theory time....I thought the letters on the card looked similar to the "The last son if krypton belongs to veritas" letters seen last season. Maybe whoever wrote the veritas note knows Tess has Clark's crystal and it was gonna be a big set up to get Tess..

I don't think lex, because if it was lex, he would come back and expose Clark. Looks like they are bringing in a new foe. Brainiac would want to crystal to bring back Zod but I really don't know who X is. I think X sent her the letter/dress/email. I don't think Oliver had anything to do with it.

i'd agree with you, but somethign tell me , that god forbid, he does Know and doesn't have another memory -wipe( DONT START, all u pppl who want lex to know for the rest of his life) he wouldnt expose clark.......he loves power ,and would keep that decently private

the dress was green... pretty sure that's a sure sign it was from Oliver. I mean, unless Lex or someone else knows he is the Green Arrow, its pretty random that the dress would be Ollie's color of choice.

Not really good color choice for the olive green dress inside.

Lana was usually pretty color co-ordinated.

I love the idea of the letter sender being X. I thought it was tacky of Oliver to send Tess and outfit when he sent Lois one in Season 6. I was going to equate it with Lex Luthor's diamond studs.

i highly doubt it was oliver who sent it besides the letter didn't had his name on it, i think tess just assumed it would be from oliver but i don't know why she would it's not like they were in the best terms in toxic for oliver to ask her out so i'm surprised tess would think oliver had sent the dress and letter

One more thing.You would think that Oliver knew Tess' size as well as her taste.Based on what we have seen,Tess wouldn't wear such a revealing dress that i don't think even fits her.

Yes definitely think the person who sent the dress also sent the e-mail. I don't think Oliver sent the dress - Tess just assumed it was him although I have no idea why she would think that.

One query I have is surely the person who sent the dress should have gone up to Maxima at the club - as she was wearing the dress and that person wouldn't have known that Tess wasn't coming?

The person who sent the email is not the same person who sent the dress. When Tess got the dress she told her assistant to inform Oliver that she wasn't going to make it and the assistant left right away to do so. That explains why Oliver wasn't at the Ace of Clubs.

The email says that Tess isn't ready for the crystal. From what we have seen, only 4 people know she has it.

From the 4, only Clark and Chloe can be ruled out since they are shocked that Tess doesn't have it anymore. So that leaves Dr. Groll and the assistant.

My vote is for Dr. Groll because in season six he took the blackbox from Lex and gave it to Lana. So it's possible he stole the crystal.

Oliver wouldn't have expected Tess to get to the Ace of Clubs that fast. The dress just arrived.
Maxima supersped there and that's why Oliver wasn't there. I think:)
