A
Little Bit Of Smallville In Wizard #160
Special
thanks to: Jake
Getting
us hyped up five months early, the latest issue of Wizard
magazine (the best-selling publication about comics) offers
a tease of what to expect in Smallville's fourth season
finale, which won't be airing until May. And here are the spoilery
details, as Smallville's finale makes #75 on their list. Here's
what they say:
"Smallville
season four comes to an end this summer with a climactic resolution
to the story of the crystals, a new understanding between
Lex and Lionel, and lotsa Lois Lane! And possibly more L's!"
There's
also a feature on comic pros' reaction to the casting of Brandon
Routh as the movie Superman. More details to come, but it seems
painter extraordinaire Alex Ross stands by the actor
who he painted for a TV Guide cover and a recent piece
also featuring former Superman Chris Reeve - Tom Welling
was his choice. Tom's co-star Erica Durance also would
have liked to have seen her "Clark" on the big screen.
Look
for Green Lantern's fist, Keanu Reeves as John Constantine,
or a montage of characters on this special issue's cover. Wizard
#160 also features the announcement of of a new comic
book series to be written by Smallville's Jeph Loeb
- Supergirl, spinning off from the recent hit Superman/Batman
story arc. Supergirl will be drawn by Ian Churchill.
There's also another project listed that Jeph has been rumored
to be attached to; but since Wizard's not saying it for
sure, we'll save that announcement for later. Whatever it is
involves an artist Loeb seems to work very well with...
