Black Kryptonite Arrives In DC Comics
An element found in last season's Smallville episodes "Crusade" and "Onyx" has made its way into DC Comics, just in time for their "Infinite Crisis."

SPOILER WARNING!

This week's issue of Superman (#222), written by former Smallville writer and producer Mark Verheiden ("Rogue," "Perry"), ends with Bizarro flying out of the sun, where he retrieves a "black rock." Viewers may remember in "Onyx" that black kryptonite is created by heating green K to really high temperatures.

Now DC Comics has unveiled an alternate cover to Supergirl #4, which is on sale December 14. Supergirl is written by former Smallville writer and producer Jeph Loeb. Check it out:

Makes you wonder what OTHER Smallville-related changes may be in store for the DCU, doesn't it? *cough*Chloe*cough*
